"Whatever you say Cinderella...actually with that hair you would be Ariel or Merida." Tony mused carrying her into her room. "There." Tony placed her on the bed. "Rest." He smiled and closed the door after him.

Aurora smiled and began to walk up the stairs stopping three steps in "I'll have to take the lift." She didn't realize just how light headed she was from the lose of blood.

Gemini's jaw dropped and her face turned a worryingly dark shade of red. She was stricken silent as he placed her down and left. "What...the...hell...just happened?" She finally asked herself, about ten minutes after he'd gone. Since when was she so weak, that she couldn't argue her case? What was it about that man that made her go speechless? "UGH!" Frustrated, she got up and started pacing, partially to defy Tony's orders and partially because she was, well, frustrated.

Steve waited, silently supportive until Aurora decided to give in. Once she asked, he moved up the stairs and gently picked her up. "You lost a lot of blood, so try not to push yourself." He said to her with a kind smile. "It's okay to let yourself need help once in a while. And any time you do, you can always ask me." He told her this with a slight blush.

"I didn't want to be a burden. You got hurt yourself." Aurora frowned up at Steve. "I'm am sorry about Bucky. Maybe we can find a way to bring him back." she smiled. "That's my room." she pointed to her door.

Tony changed into his pajames and settled into bed sighing softly as he got comfortable a smile on his face as he thought of Gemini. He chuckled to himself and then slowly fell asleep.

"I'll try to save him Steve I promise." Aurora mumbled that as she fell asleep. Almost at once the voice called to her drawing her in. She resisted for a while but eventually she got out of bed dressed then slipped out the window all while in a fog.

Tony heard the swear and emerged from his room just wearing pants. "What seems to be the problem?" He peered past her and cursed.

"I knew we shouldn't have left her alone!" Gemini raged. "I'm going after her. If I use my fox form I can catch up quickly enough to at least stall her."

Arriving seconds later, Steve figured out what was going on quickly. "No, you can't! The Aether can't be so close to the fire stone. I'll go, I can run fast enough."

"Well go then." Tony swallowed as he thought. "Do you think Hydra meant for this to happen?"

"I don't know. But either way, they'll regret it did." Steve said, before jumping out the window and running.

Gemini huffed, hating that she couldn't do anything. "He'd better kick some serious ass over this."

"I'll get my suit ready just in case I'm needed." Tony looked worried and glanced at her. "there's no doubt he'll kick but if he runs into Bucky he may not."

Aurora felt like she was in a haze as she followed the voice and the warmth. She smiled a little and continued to walk her eyes a weird reddish orange color.

Just to give herself something to do, Gemini went and closed the window and made Aurora's bed.

Running as fast as he could, Steve followed Aurora's trail, though it wasn't exactly easy. He finally caught a glimpse of her up ahead, and put on an extra burst of speed to catch up. He made it far enough to get in front of her and reached out- then stopped himself, worried that she might burn him. "Aurora! Aurora, come back to me. Come on, wake up."

Aurora stared blanked eyed at him then looked over his shoulder as the voice grew louder drowning Steve's out. "Come child you are almost there." it whispered caressing her. She side stepped Steve almost like she knew he was there but didn't recognize him as she started to walk again. She could feel the power getting closer and all she wanted was to get to it no matter the cost.

Aurora frowned this time in her mind she heard another voice one she wanted to hear more then the powers voice. It cursed then smirked "don't let him get in your way." It whispered curling around her. In the real world her frown deepened as if she was trying to figure out who he was.

"Steve?" Aurora blinked the base starting to clear from her mind with a roar the power surges back threw her and exploded out in a blaze of fire making her gasp and crumbled to the ground as the pillar of fire over whelmed her. She struggled to get it under control and broke away from Steve. "No, no." She shook from the force of keeping the power from killing Steve. She blinked when she noticed Bucky and a few other Hydra members watching them. Seeing no other outlet she focused the fire on them finally running out of energy she flopped to the ground panting her cloths smoking but intact.

"The fire stone it's powers overwhelmed me and when my own fire fought back well I exploded." Aurora looked pale. "The stone is closer then I thought." she looked to the mess she had made of the group that had been watching them. "They have it." she knew though she wasn't sure how. "Steve...I'm scared." her voice shook and she looked up at him looking terrified. "I didn't even try to resist it."

Tony heard the radio beep and suited up. "Wake the others." He glanced at Gemini then flew off arriving in record time. "She alright?"

Aurora had her head buried in Steve's chest glad her powers had defended her and him if not he would be toast. "I'm alright Tony." She smiled at him then sucked in a breath. "Steve." She gestured to Bucky who was holding a box in his hand listening to a man who seemed to be his boss.

Scowling, Gemini went to do as she was told, waking everyone and telling them what happened.

Steve didn't let on how relieved he was when Tony showed up. Looking where Lori pointed, he froze. "Bucky..." It was obvious he was the one holding the stone. "We have to get the stone away from him."

"That should be easy." Tony snorted as more Hydra men appeared. He started to fire at them.

"Don't touch the stone it's self only the box if you touch the stone you'll be very crispy and very dead." Aurora watched Bucky hand over the box and then to Steve. She had a feeling they wanted to get her alone and she didn't like that thought at all.

Aurora did that watching as Bucky advanced on Steve and swung his knife at the man growling a little.
