Aurora laughed. "Do you have a lion living in there?"

Tony poked Gemini's stomach smirkng. "Doesn't feel that way."

Gemini blushed brighter. "My kind tend to get hungry fast." She mumbled.

"You mean...redheads?" Steve asked, getting a glare from her.

"Half-breeds." Gemini said shortly. "I'm half kitsune."

"Oh, I see." Steve said. "Well, hang in there, I'll get breakfast ready." He went and started getting things out to make breakfast for everyone.

"I can't wait to see how hungry you get when you do something that uses a lot of energy." Tony grinned and then grunted rubbing his head glaring at Aurora who hit him.

"Every time you say stuff like that I'll hit you." Aurora went to set the table trying to force her thoughts from the fire stone.

Gemini scowled. "Having a foreign substance forcibly removed from your blood stream and nearly dying takes a surprising amount of energy." She said crossly.

"All right, all right relax everyone. Being hungry is not something to fight about." Steve said, cracking a couple of eggs into a pan as he talked.

"I was thinking of something funner then that. OW!" Tony held his head glaring at Aurora who had hit him with a plate.

"I did warn you." Aurora glared at him.

Gemini rolled her eyes and ignored the comment, mostly because Aurora had already taken care of it for her. "Steve, is there any bacon around?" She asked.

Steve nodded absently. "Yeah, plenty of it. I'll make extra." He said. "Just out of curiosity, do you eat a lot of meat because you're...part fox?"

"Well...yeah, kinda..."

"Kind of. So help me if you say anything Tony." Aurora glowered at Tony.

Tony put his hands up. "I'm keeping my mouth shut."

Steve rolled his eyes and went back to cooking. "It's too early for this."

Gemini blinked, not sure why Lori was making threats this time. "Right..."

Tony chuckled a little amused that Aurora thought like him even if she didn't admit it.

Aurora sat down to wait for food sighing happily.

Gemini went and sat down across from Aurora to wait for breakfast.

About a half an hour later, Steve turned around. "Breakfast is done." He announced, just loud enough that everyone in the house could hear him.

Bruce and Nat wondered in together with Clint behind them. "Smells great." Bruce smiled.

Aurora licked her lips. "Your going to spoil us Steve." she smiled.

Steve shrugged, blushing a little. "It's really nothing." He said, setting out plates for everyone.

"Doesn't smell like nothing." Gemini said. "Smells like a whole lot of something."

"There's plenty of bacon, go ahead and take what you want." Steve said, knowing what the fox girl was driving at.

Gemini practically leapt forward to take a plate and start piling it with bacon- and a few other things as well.

Tony smirked. "Girl likes her meat and plenty of it." He yelped as Aurora lunged at him having caught his hidden meaning. "Get off!"

Aurora beat Tony up "you disgusting pig!"

Steve shook his head. "Really, you'd think he would learn at some point." He said, sitting down to eat after making sure everyone else was served.

Even Gemini caught the meaning this time, and actually threw a piece of bacon at him- though she seemed more embarrassed then angry. "Can we please behave, at least during mealtimes?"

"Get her off!" Tony begged. "OW! No biting!"

Gemini sighed, got up and pulled Aurora off with a strength she shouldn't have had. "Enough." he word was more growl that human speech. "It is too early for this. Aurora, keep your temper. Tony, stop making such disgusting comments. Everyone just shut up and eat."

Steve stared at the three of them, a little surprised by Gemini's strength. Surely that wasn't a kitsune thing...was it? And why on Earth was Aurora biting him? He thought, a blush rising at the realization that he was a tiny bit jealous.

"You shut up." Aurora snapped a fine line of fire on over her body an unbelievable anger surging threw her.

"I'll behave." Tony grumbled then blinked at Aurora. "Aurora?" he touched her arm and regretted it as he was set on fire. "HOLY!" he stopped, dropped and rolled.

Gemini didn't seem to mind the fire, though she did put Aurora down. She put her hand out and drew the fire away from Tony, dispelling it easily.

Steve jumped up, alarmed, and went to Aurora. His first thought was that the fire stone being so close still was affecting her. He stepped in front of her, blocking her view of Tony and Gemini. "Aurora, calm down. It's done, okay? Please don't set anyone on fire."

Aurora glared at Steve and went back to eating ignoring everyone.

Steve paused a moment, then went to sit next to Aurora. "Aurora...? Are you okay?" He asked, a little concerned for her.

Gemini huffed slightly and walked outside, abandoning her breakfast.

"I'm fine." Aurora glared at Steve.

Tony wisely followed Gemini before Aurora set him on fire again.

Steve blinked. "Did...did I do something wrong?" It seemed like she was angry at him, but he wasn't sure what he did.

Outside, Gemini let off steam by sending a blast of fire into the sky. Once she was done, her whole body was literally steaming.

"You alright?" Tony asked.

"Your alive that's what you did wrong!" Aurora stood so fast her chair tipped over her eyes a fire red color.

Gemini nodded. "Yeah, I'm fine. I don't know what happened in there...it's like I just lost it. That usually doesn't happen." She said.

Steve's jaw dropped, and he stared up at Aurora with obvious hurt in his expression. He didn't know what to do.

Aurora snarled and stalked away.

"You think it's the stone?" Tony mused.
