"You're not a burden!" Gemini protested.

"You'll have to get used to it, Cress, because I'm always going to want to take care of you. It's just in my nature." Steve said.

Cress blushed softly then scowled. "I'm not promising anything but I'll try." her scowl darkened. "I'm just so use to looking out for us." she shook her head to clear the memories.

Tony pulled into the tower garage and got out. "I'll go get the cream but if it's to bad Steve is going to take you to the hospital." Cress just glared after him.

Gemini hopped out of the car. "I'll go help him. You might need more than just burn cream." She said, and hurried inside.

Though he wanted to ask what Cress meant, Steve could tell it wasn't something she wanted to talk about. "Besides your hands, where else are you injured?" He asked instead.

Tony was rummaging threw the cabinet pulling out a bunch of burn cream most of which he had bought when he first started designing the suit.

''If I had my suit on this wouldn't have happened." Cress grumbling. "I have to burns on my legs. At least two on my left arm, one on my right and I think there's one on my back."

Gemini blinked a couple times at all the burn cream, but decided to ask about it later. She started gathering bandages.

"Do you mind if I take a look?" Steve asked. He didn't want to invade her privacy, but he had to see the burns to assess how bad they were.

Cress turned a pink color and carefully took her shirt off hissing a little. There was a large burn on her back and a smaller one on her thigh. As she had predicted there was one burn on one arm and two on the other. "Hows it look?"

Tony choose that moment to wonder in. "No need to get her naked on my couch Steve." he teased barely dodging a large fireball.

Steve sent Tony a glare that could've killed before turning back to Cress. "You were right about your arms. There's one on your leg and a really bad one on your back." He reported.

"That's definitely going to need to be bandaged. And judging by where it's located...both of you men leave." Gemini ordered. To bandage the wounds properly, Cress would have to be topless, and there was no way Gemini was going to let either of the guys see that.

"There's nothing Steve hasn't seen." Cress said with no shame at all.

Tony laughed and handed Gemini the cream. "I'm not going to touch that one." he kissed Gemini's forehead then headed to his lap.

Gemini blushed. "Okay then, if you want Steve to do it I'll just leave you be." She said, clearly embarrassed.

"It's up to you, Cress." Steve said. "Whoever you're more comfortable with."

"I don't mind if Gemini does it. Lord knows I don't need you fainting when I take off my bra so she can get the bandage on right." Cress was smirking evilly as she rubbed the burn cream on the burns she could reach.

Steve blushed and cleared his throat. He wanted to protest that he wouldn't faint, but based on his reaction to just thinking about it, he knew she was right. "Okay." He said, promptly leaving the room.

Gemini waited for him to leave before laughing. "I bet he's going to take a cold shower right about now." She said, coming over to spread burn cream on the burns Cress couldn't reach.

Cress nodded. "Thats probably what he's going to do. He's just so much easier to tease then Tony and its so much fun." she sighed and flopped forward onto the couch. A soft blush spread over her face "I love him don't I?"

"I didn't think he was either but Aurora loved him so I tolerated it. Really Tony was the type of guy I liked for a long time but now...its so much more fun being with Steve." Cress let her wrap her up flinching a little.

"Its nice. Especially since he is such a gentleman. I don't know what to do some times." Cress chuckled. "Part of me wants to break that sweet side of him while another part of me wants to enjoy it."

"He's wild in some situations." Cress smirked her meaning very plan. "but I do agree that it's fun showing him everything he never did before."

"Its funny. He's kind of a child with somethings. It's really cute." Cress relaxed on the couch. "I'm tired." she sighed. "But I don't want to move."

"I think I would rather stay here. I'm starting to feel the burn." Cress admitted. "Would you get Steve to carry me upstairs?"

Gemini nodded. "Sure." She said, standing up. She left the room to find Steve.

A minute later, Steve walked in. His hair was wet, possibly from splashing water on his face. "Gemini said you needed some help. Are you alright?"

"I'll live." Cress grinned managing somehow to sit up hissing as she did. "I'm exhausted. Would you mind carrying me to one of the extra rooms?"

Tony glanced up at Gemini. He was lounging in one of the chairs his feet up and a glass of what looked the soda in his hands. "How is she?" he asked.

Steve nodded. "Yeah, of course." He said, picking her up gently. "You can stay in the room I usually take when I stay here. I'll...sleep somewhere else if you want."

Gemini shrugged and sighed. "The burns are pretty bad, but she'll recover quickly enough. She's just gonna be in some pain for a while." She said.
