"Clint's not here." The voice was deeper then Clint's and the smirk had to much venom in it. "Only me." He laughed.

Belle sighed happily. "Nothing like sugar and coffee to wake you up. So tell me about your past. I really do want to know more."

Kiki's face paled."then who are you....why did you take over Clint?!",she growled angry that someone had possessed the person she loved.

Steve looked to her."what do you want to know?",he asked softly

"Everything." Belle shrugged. "Did you have a tv? what where you like a child? Did you have any other loves besides Peggy? Who's in a nursing home in Washington DC."

"That's for you to find out." Clint smirked and hurried off vanishing into the darkness.

"CLINT!",she took a deep breath and started to give chace.


Steve blinked."we had TV's,but there were nothing like they are today,I however had a radio...as a child i was small, and weak...had a great friend....and no,no one else besided Peggy",he said softly

"Bucky right? I read your bio." Belle shrugged. "What was he like?"

Clint was gone vanishing into where he kept a spare set of bow and arrows grinning when she came around the corner and shot her.

Steve frowned."he was great.My best friend,somone i could trust with my life",he said softly.

Kiki had frowed noy being able to find him,then as she came around the corner she heard the woosh,of an arrow,then gahsp as an arrow dug into her chest."Clint",she said worried about her possessed friend,she then began crumbelling to the gound

"Perfect." Clint laughed then groaned as the thing left him. "Kiki? Oh no what did I do?" he hurried over to her. "Hold on Kiki." he dialed 911.

"If he was that great to you he must have been an amazing person. how long did you know him?" Belle asked with a soft smile.

Kiki gently took his hand,fighting the sleep that was tugging at her."Clint",she said softly.She could soon hear the sirens ecoing."I love you",she said softly."nevr got to tell bedore i disapeared"

Steve smiled."since i was a kid",he said softly then blinked as he felt his phone buz,he looked at it frowning."Cint's cell dialed 911",he said looking up to Belle

"Kiki." Belle gasped and stood. "Let's go." She waited for Steve a worried look on her face.

Clint shook his head. "You can tell me again later then we can go out on another date." He saw the ambulance. "I'm going to have to let go but don't die Kiki please I just got you back. Remember I love you too."

Steve nodded.Throwing miney down telling the peopele to keep the change."how do we figure out where there taking her"

Kiki smiled softly."sound good",she whispered then her hand slipped out of his as she lost consciousness as the paramedics came over and started to treat her as they loaded her into the ambulance

Clint watched them then hurried to the tower grabbing his keys. He floored it to the hospital eyes on the road his knuckles white.

"I don't know." Belle bit her lip. "I could use my computer to find out."

Steve nodded."please do it",he said softly

Wheb he got to the hospital,one of the ER nurses took him to a private waiting area

"Is she alright?" Clint asked trying to peer around the nurse hoping she was.

Belle went to the tower and hacked into some site. "Found her." she grinned not mention that what she did was technically illegal.

Steve nodded."great,i'll drive",he said sending a message to Natasha of where to meet with Clint,knoing that Clint would need his best friend.

The nurse tried to keep him at Bay."Mr.Barton,shes in surget,the doctor will be out as soo as he can be..."

Clint glanced at the nurse then began to pace only pausing long enough to punch a wall leaving a small dent his breath coming in short gasps.

Belle blinked and let him drive wondering when he had learned how to drive. "When did you learn to drive? Do you even have a valid license?"

"hey i drive a bike,this,isnt so bad and yes i do".Steve said softly."and when we had to lay low after new yotk i got it",he said and picked up the speed,and got to the hospital ,he hopped out,paid for the parking and then waited for Belle.

It was a while after,when the Doctor came into the room.His eyes were sad."Mr.Barton?",he asked softyl

Clint stopped his pacing. "Don't tell me she died." he begged.

Belle took his hand and rushed in finding Clint the look on the doctors face told her all she needed to know.

The doctor frowned."Im sorry,we did what we could,but there was a lot of internal bleeding",he said softly and looked to Belle and Steve as they walked in."The nursdes will bring you her personl things",he then turned and headed back through the doors.

Steve huffed and looked to Clint."Clint..",he didn't know what to say,he looked to Belle,hoping she knew what to say

Clint fell into a chair eyes blank as Belle came over he slapped her hands away then vanished outside getting in his car he left.

Belle stood there for a few moments then swallowed. "Poor Clint."

Steve watched Clint go and went to Belle."He'll be okay,eventually",he said softlyHe carefuly wrapped her arms around her."come on",he said sadly,then looked up as a nurse appeared at the dor with the bag with Kiki's clothse and anything else she had on her.Steve gently took it, then sighed.

Belle rubbed her eyes and followed Steve knowing that Clint would never return. "He won't come back." she shook her head. "He'll run from himself and from us."

Steve frwned."i know",he said softly."unless we find out how this happened...or,he may be doing that....",with one last look up the road he let Belle in the car.

"Why would he run though." Belle went threw Kiki's things. "This is Clint's arrow." she froze at the sight of it. "What on earth happened?" she knew she wouldn't get that answer unless Clint told them but she knew he wouldn't return any time soon.

Steve frowned."no clue",he then blinked and frowed as he pulled out a photo strip.It was aged a bit,but it was pictures of a younger Kiki and Clint."He should have taken thsi...',he said sadly then with a sigh he headed back to the tower.

----One year later-----

Steve sighed as he came off the jet.In his hand he had a small present boc."this should do",he said happily.Then looked to Tony as they met in the hall."Stark,come on its my aniversary...im gonna have dinner with Belle tonight...."

Tony frowned."It's noty a mission,but we finall got information on what happened...that day",he said softly."I found some security camera,jrvis did some hacking and ,Clint,did shoot Kiki....."

Steve sighed."oh no"

Tony nodded."but it wasnt ...him",he sighed at Steves confused look."We dug deeper,Cap,Hydra ,made this...thing,it takes over peopel,they sent nto Clint,with Kiki as the target...it wasn't his fault"

Steve sighed."and we have no way of telling Clint...Natasha could find him,tell him and maybe he'd come back"

Tony scoffed."no,he would go after them first,an would do what it takes to get to the last one...."

Belle was getting ready for her date with Steve it had been a year since they had started to date though it saddened her to think that Kiki had been dead for a year. She had gone out for a couple seconds and was returning home with wine and candles humming as she unlocked the door.

"What are we talking about?" Clint asked as he walked in Natasha at his side. He had been trying to track down what had taken over his body and pouring himself into his missions with Nat.
