Jinx looked at the crown and carefully placed it on her head. "Thank-you so much, I love it." she said and blushed brightly at his compliment. "Oh...y-you really think so Ezale?" she asked, becoming nervous all over again. She watched Balthier interact with little Snow and chuckled, "Yes, he did didn't he?" she agreed and widened her eyes when Ezale mentioned books. "Ah yes! My brother and I want to learn as much as we can to help our people. I have been taking notes of what I've been told." she explained and took the books. "Thank-you so much!" she said and knew the books were going to come in handy. She would be sure to read them tomorrow. Jinx listened to Ezale and then looked at her brother. Yes, but I am not sure if he brought it with him." she admitted, blushing when Ezale tucked some hair behind her ear.

Balthier only smiled for little Snow, it was impossible not to. He smiled at her and shook his head. "I could never forget about you little one." he said to her. Balthier smoothed out her hair and blushed lightly at the kisses she was giving him. It made him happy to see her so happy over a flower. His yellow eyes watched her with joy, "I'm positive little Snow. You deserve only beautiful things." Balthier informed her and hugged her gently, she was such a sweetheart. "You don't need to get me anything, being able to just see you is the best gift this dragon can ever ask for." he started and smiled softly. "I try my best." he whispered. He wasn't too sweet but if Snow thought so, then it had to be true. "Now now, what's this talk of death?" he asked and shook his head. "Tsk Tsk." he said and pulled out the bag of white dust. "It will live forever little one." he promised. "What would you like it to be?" he asked her and pointed to Jinx. "She has one as a necklace. What would you like your black rose to be?" Balthier asked.

Ezale smiled at Jinx as he looked at her. " You are very breath taking just as your necklace is. It suits you well. Ah I see that he does. Wonderland and the adviser's have had me learning a lot since being here. As the King of Wonderland it's myself it's my duty to know each kingdom and their rules. That's why Bunny was sent to help you. She told me through her clock that you needed the books on your history. She really is a lovely girl. " He said as he gently took Jinx hand. " However your still the most beautiful girl to me." He said meaning it as he leaned in to kiss her cheek. He did so and turned as he saw another carriage appear it was red gold and black with hearts on it. " This is odd Aleen had not said she was coming. " He said keeping hold of Jinx. He stood dignified as he own soldiers moved forward in front of Snow and Balthier. Another set in front of him and Jinx. The others taking guard around Wonderland and his own adviser. They parted so he could greet Aleen but where ready to defend at a moment's notice.

As the carriage came to a stop a man stepped out instead of Aleen. The man looked rather miffed as his eyes locked on Snake. He looked rather disgusted as the guards suddenly blocked his path with their swords making it clear he had gone as fair as they where going to allow. He looked even more announced as the guards demanded he state his business and bow the their King. He rolled his eyes and finally bowed respectfully. " I am Duke Victorof Hearts and protector of the Heart Kingdom. Is this how you greet all people?" He asked as his eyes shifted seeing Snow. " Ah there is who I come to see. So she is as lovely as I've heard. " He said smiling as he cut his eyes to Wonderland who moved to wrapped her arms around Snow in a protective manner. " Now now is that any way to act Wonderland? She is after all available to any royal for marriage once she is crowned. Those are your rules from eons ago. He pulled out a scroll with his seal on it at the bottom. " By the rules I've come to make myself known to her. Up until her 18th birthday no one person can claim her as their own. " He said as he shifted his eyes to Jinx. " I could be rude and challenge you your majesty if I wanted for her hand. However I believe this little one would look better at my side. Besides if she's like her sister she will be powerful and who ever wins her wins the power over wonderland. She is the only one who can make the white dust. And it will be over my dead body before I let some black King dare try and take the white powder for himself. You hurt my Queen and if you try and stop me from seeing the little Queen it will be a act of war. Besides let's be honest here the Black Kingdom has fallen from grace and your military isn't anything anymore. So as of now I have the upper hand my armies can crush you if I choose to do so. So don't push your luck with me." He said as he knelt down to little Snow from his allowed distance the guards already having their weapons drawn. " Little One I hope that you have a wonderful night. I'm sorry for my rude introduction. I look forward to seeing in the future. I have brought you gifts and had them sent to your room. If you will please excuse me I have to return to my Kingdom to finish up preparations for tomorrow." He said as he rose and turned suddenly pausing as he heard Snake.

" Wait, by the law it is a act of war to do what you have done. You have threaten the King of Black in your own round about way and me myself. Such actions will not be tolerated. The Heart Kingdom is already in trouble and I will deal with you all fiercely for your crimes against Wonderland. Do not think you can come to my home and threaten me nor any other King! Neither of us will take it kindly. If you think of harming one hair on my Queen or my Little Snow you will be dealt with and will start a war like Wonderland has never seen. War is the last thing Wonderland as a hole needs. However if the Kingdom of Hearts is determined to have only wicked rulers then the rulers will be executed and made examples of. You don't care for little Snow just her power you have tried for years now to take the Heart Crown from your enemy Aleen. You come from the blood line of the fifth King of the Heart Kingdom. He was excited because of his crimes against Wonderland. Your blood line was to be wiped out because of how bad that king was. I assume your going to challenge Aleen for the right of the Crown aren't you? Where is Aleen?" He said rather calmly his voice was full of venom for the man.

The Duke turned as he held a wicked grin on his lips. He started laughing as he clapped his hands. " Bravo my little King someone has been doing his homework. Maybe you are worthy to wear your crown after all. However your just a child like the others here. It must be my eyes they gave me away. Oh I have already won my crown and as for Aleen I'll put her some where safe. We both know she is no good so technically I'm doing us all a favor. As for you and the other so call "KING" if you try to start a war with me you will lose. I am far older than you and know more than you two will ever learn. Yes that princess is lovely there very breathtaking but you see imagine a wonderland with Me as the ruling King and the beautiful Snow as my Queen. Oh I will love her that's where your wrong. I'm in this to win it. Age is just a number they say. I look forward to our meetings." He said as he laughed and climbed into his carriage and raced off.

Snow looked to Jinx as she saw the lovely necklace. " Oh it's gorgeous just like Lady Jinx. Really it will live forever. " She said as she looked to him and smiled even bigger. " You really are the sweetest person I know. I am honestly happy with what ever you chose. " She said being honest as she smiled at him. " I feel silly for bringing the crystal apples and flowers now after seeing your lovely Black rose. I was planning on making cookies and pies with them for everyone." She said being honest as she smiled at him. Your right I'm sorry for thinking such thoughts please forgive me." She said hoping he wasn't to made with her. " However before Balthier could respond she saw a heart carriage. She shuttered not sure why anything with hearts scared her. She clung onto Balthier as the strange man stepped out. She felt fear as she watched Wonderland move to her seeing fear on Wonderland's face. It scared her more as she coward burring her face in Bathier's chest finding being with him making her feel safe. She made herself look up as the man spoke to her.

Her mouth fell open hearing what Snake had to say. She had never seen him so angry. She shuttered in wonderland's arms as the man turned showing another side of himself one she was afraid of. She was so happy he left as tears fell down her eyes as she cried. " I don't want anything from the scary man. I don't want to be Queen if it is going to cause all of this. I just want people happy!" She said as she looked down and watched as her black rose started to wilt. "No what is happening to it?"

Wonderland looked down at the Black Rose as she put her hands on it the rose suddenly coming back to life. " There there, shh my little one. You shouldn't say that my little one. There are people counting on you. I would be lying if I said that man wasn't a threat. But I'm afraid he is all to real. However for now you shouldn't worry about him. None of you should. This should be a joyous occasion. Look at me my little one I promise you wont ever have to be alone with that man as long as I'm here and so is Balthier, Ezale, and Jinx. The rules his said are true but it doesn't say that one has to be alone with them. So he can see you with one of us with you. Now you need to cheer up it's just a bad dream. And what do dreams do? They go away sometimes and turn into better ones. Now the King here has come a long way to spend time with us so be my beautiful brave girl and put on that smile. Besides I see some snow ball fights in our future ok." She said softly kissing Snow's head as she let her go.

"Black roses are very sensitive if he had tried to touch Jinx her rose would had shown it's thorns to him. That is why Snow's rose started to wilt. Black roses are enchanted and in a way alive. They know who are good and who aren't. They will punish those who are wicked and be kind to those who are good at heart. Ezale, Balthier as kings you must take his threats seriously. I am worried for Aleen however before he makes his move and he will there is nothing we can do. The people must choice their ruler and we will pay if it's him." She said as she saw little Snow's face. " You are worried because of what he said my little Snow. The Queen of White has the ability to make a fine powder than can be used enchant things. It seems to only be given to the Queen. That powder Balthier has was made from your very mother. It is some of the strongest wonderland has ever had. It's not evil to have that gift Snow. That powered is used for much good. It's used to save people from life threading wounds. It can be used to make lovely things. There is no presser my little one. Even if you don't again that ability Everyone here and even the people back home will still love you. " She said seeing the worry in Snow's eyes she turned as she stared at the scroll the man had brought.

It is more than necessary now for the coronation. Yes Bunny this is what I feared. My two Kings I suggest you prepare for war. From this day forward know that the Heart Kingdom is not your ally. Prepare for a fight but let's pray it never comes. You are both so brave. I am proud of you both for not attacking him. It's hard not to wish him ill will. We will have much work a head of us. But we will get it done.

Jinx blushed brightly and smiled, "It must be fun learning all sorts of new things. I hope to learn a lot too. This place is very strange. It's different from my old home but I like it and I think my brother likes it too. He seems like a different person but he's still the same over protective brother I know and love." Jinx said, giggling softly. "Aleen?" she repeated and looked at the carriage. "Well, perhaps she changed her mind?" Jinx suggested. She was surprised to see a man step out of the carriage instead and she wondered where Aleen could be. This man was the duke of hearts? There was something off about him, something Jinx didn't like. She quickly hid behind Ezale when the man looked at her, he made her very uncomfortable. Hearing them talk of war, she looked to her brother and frowned. She knew that this Duke was pushing everyone's buttons and she was sure that Balthier would snap if he wanted to.

Balthier looked up when he heard the man introduce himself and snarled at him. Did he really think he could just arrive and say that he was going to marry little Snow? Did he not know who he was talking to? He noticed how scared little Snow was and gently placed a hand on her shoulder protectively. He stared at the Duke, he really just wanted to tear that man to shreds but he had to restrain himself. He listened to Ezale, surprised but he smirked in approval. If this man wanted a war, Balthier was more than happy to give him one. He would have to start training men to be great soldiers if he wanted this war to be one that he won, not lost. There was no way Balthier was going to let this Duke take little Snow from him. Little Snow was afraid of him, he was proud of her for not yelling at the man when he approached her to say hello. Balthier knew that he himself would have spit in the man's face if he was able to.

When the man left, Balthier looked down at Snow and gently wiped away her tears. "There, there...it's okay. The bad man is gone." Balthier said and gently took the rose from her once Wonderland brought it back to life. Balthier sprinkled some white dust on the flower and gently placed it on Snow's wrist, watching the rose bloom fully and wrap around her wrist turning into a beautiful bracelet and hardening. "There you go, a lovely little bracelet from me to you." he said and nodded at what Wonderland said. "Lady Wonderland is right, we're not going to let him be alone with you ever. We are here to protect you at all costs." Balthier said honestly. Listening to Wonderland he nodded, "Oh not to worry Lady Wonderland, I take his threats very seriously. I do not like him or what he said, he is not going to marry little Snow here. I am not going to allow it." he said and smiled at little Snow. "I'll do my best to make sure he doesn't get close to you okay?" he suggested and pulled her into a loving hug. It broke his black heart to see her so afraid of that man and for a moment, he wondered if he himself would ever frighten her when she saw the dragon he really was. "If that man wants a war, we will prepare our people for that war. I do hope it never comes, but if it does I want us all to be ready." he said seriously.

"Tis Tis, I must say I was hoping for more flare from your sorry lot." Jabber said as he appeared sitting on the Wonderland Throne. He laughed as he got up and walked outside and gently ran a finger along Jinx's jawline. He stopped long enough the gaze into her lovely yellow eyes as he smiled at her. "Ah so lovely what a fine Queen you will make. " He said as he moved and then bowed deeply. " I am the one and only Jabberwocky champion of the heart Kingdom. You have met my pretentious brother earlier today. But now you have the honor of meeting me. " He said as a wicked grin appeared on his lips. He shifted his eyes to Balthier as he flashed his own reptilian eyes. " Ah what fun I'm not the only dragon anymore! " He said as he laughed turning and looking to Jinx. " You can keep the child for all I care. I want a Queen by my side. It's rare to find such a beauty here. " He said eyeing Jinx like a prize. He held up his finger to Snake. " Now now your not king yet. It would be a shame for something to happen to you little King." He said shifted his eyes to him as he summoned a fire ball into his hand. " Wonderland this is the best you could give me? I could kill your King now. And as for the Queen of White she will never be a threat to me." He said laughing."

Ezale felt his anger growing as Jabber appeared. He snapped slapping the man's hand away from Jinx as he jumped in front of her protectively. He glared at Jabber as a black aura appeared around him growing in intensity. He was losing his control of his anger the longer he started at the brass man who dared to touch Jinx and sit on his throne. " How dare you. " He said glaring at the man. " Get out of my Kingdom! Don't you dare come back!" He said keeping Jix far back from the man. " You ever lay one finger on Jix again it will be your last!" He roared as he picked up one of the guards swords and threw it at Jabber.

Jabber laughed and grinned as he looked at Ezale. " Oh my for once a challenge. Not afraid of dragon fire. You might be a worthy challenger after all. Until we meet again my lovely Queen." He said suddenly vanishing in a cloud of smoke the sword flying through the smoke and hit one of the bushes.


Snow wrapped her arms around Balthier out of fear yet again as Jabbre appeared. She held onto Balthier wanting all these strange and evil men to stop appearing. She finally stopped shaking as Jabber vanished in smoke. " Balthier please tell me they are all gone now? " She said as she looked up at him. " I love my bracelet but I love you more because you aren't like them." She said as she hugged him not wanting to let go afraid of the men reappearing.

Jinx widened her eyes, hearing a male voice and quickly locked her yellow eyes on the male. He wasn't good news, he was up to no good it seemed even though he didn't come off as rude like his apparent brother. When she felt his finger on her jawline, she gasped and stiffened in fear. She didn't want his hands on her and she had to force herself not to lash out and hurt him. Jinx frowned and turned her face away from the man, she was thankful to have Ezale in front of her now.

Balthier couldn't help but let out an angry growl when the male dared to touch his sister. "You will leave my sister alone..." he warned seriously. He didn't want to lose his temper but this man was testing Balthier's patience. He could see the way he was looking at Jinx as if she was a prized object and that was the breaking point for Balthier. "If you get near my sister you will pay with your life!" he hissed angrily, showing his true colors. He watched the man vanish and had to take a deep breath to calm himself down. Feeling Snow's arms around him, he remembered she was there and panicked. He had probably frightened her. "Little Snow....they're all gone now little one." he whispered, frowning as he listened to her. She was such a sweetheart but he knew she would probably run out of his arms after seeing him lash out at the man like he had.

Snow closed her eyes wanting the yelling to stop. She held onto Balthier tighter as she heard him getting angrier. " Please no more yelling." She said knowing that he couldn't hear her. Small tears fell from her eyes as she clung to him wishing she was in a peaceful place. She understood he was mad and slowly opening her eyes hearing him. She didn't move however as she just clung to him. She softly spoke up finally finding her voice again sure he could hear her now. " Please no more yelling. Calm down can't you see he wants you to fight him. Don't fall into his trap. " She said holding onto him tighter. " I'm not letting go until you clam down and go back to being the sweet one I know. He'll hurt you I don't want that. If you don't Clam down I wont speak to any of you again." She said meaning it.

Ezale shifted his eyes hearing Snow. He frowned as he finally calmed down the black aura fading from around him. He looked to the little girl as he saw her still hanging onto Balthier. He turned as he looked to Jinx gently caressing her face softly. " Are you alright? I'm sorry I lost my temper and let him get the better of me. I should have kept a level head and thought of your first and checked on you. I do care for you and I didn't like him daring to touch you as he did." He admitted being honest as he gently took her hand. "I'm sorry there is still a lot I must learn to be a good king and a better friend to you and everyone else here. I do not take what happen today lightly by any means. If either of them dare's to touch either of you it will be war. I stand by my words it will be a war they have never seen before. "

Balthier sighed softly, hearing what Snow said. "I'm sorry..." he muttered and frowned, wiping away her tears from her face gently. "No more tears, you're too beautiful to be crying little one." he said quietly. "If he wants a fight.." Balthier started but was surprised and hurt at what she said next. "N-never speak to us again?" he repeated. "Y-you don't mean that..." he whispered, genuinely hurt. Good going Balthier, you upset her on your second day here. Way to go, you're so stupid. he thought to himself. So much for it being a good day of fun, now all he could think of was war and all the work he still had to do.

Jinx blushed and peaked up at Ezale under her dark thick lashes. She leaned into his touch and smiled weakly. "I...I'm fine. Just scared...I don't know what we're going to do. My brother and I still have a lot of work to do but now we need to make sure we can handle a war if it does come true." Jinx explained quietly. Jinx shook her head, "I didn't like him touching me either." she commented. A war was the last thing they needed right now, they had just got here and still had a lot of work to do before they could even consider a war.

Snow stared at Balthier and frowned as she looked the ground. " If you hadn't have calmed down. If it meant that I could keep you safe then yes I would. " She said as she finally looked up at him reaching up softly caressing his face softly as she smiled softly. " You are the hope to many people. You are not just a kind man or just Balthier. You are a King to be witch means you hold the hopes and dreams of many. The people here have suffered greatly they love you and they need you rather you know it or not. That is why you can't afford to fight with the Earl or Jabber. The people can't stand another war. So you must remain calm and take Earl and the Jabber's taunts. What if you die? What about all the people what about Jinx...what about me?" Snow said as the smile vanished from her face as she slowly took her hand away and looked to the ground.

"If it means that you and Ezale will think twice before you do something stupid and fall for their ploys then yes I would endure not talking to either of you again. Just as I will endure and entertain the Earl as it is my duty as a heir of Wonderland. The people have been nothing but nice and I could not bare to think of one of them hurt trying to defend me or dead. If keeping the peace means that until my 18th birthday I have to entertain the Earl at his whims then I will. If the Kings to be can't be brave then I will try and have a brave face for us all. I will do my best to learn how to be the Queen that Wonderland deserves. " She said looking very regal at that moment as she stood tall and proud.

" You should think of how sad Jinx and I would be if something happen to either of you. Who would save us then? " She asked looking to Balthier. " You are the one that I would chose to be with if allowed to because I know your a good person at heart. You have so much to offer so please don't let the Earl and Jabber get to you. I would be lying if I said I am not scarred. The Earl has a heart but the Jabber that one he scares me. The Earl is twisted even I can see that. But I did see a man in his eyes witch means there is a heart but that Jabber I saw nothing. I fear Jabber more than Earl. " She said as she looked to the ground. " I guess our fun time was cut short before it even happen. "


Ezale was shocked as he heard Snow and frowned. He looked to Jinx as he thought about what Snow had said. He closed his eyes as he let out a breath and looked to his own guards who where still ready to defend. " I-I'm sorry. " He said as he frowned closing his eyes. " I let my anger get the best of me and you are right little Snow." He said turning and looking at her seeing how mature she appeared and acted. He then grinned as he crossed his arms over his chest and open his eyes and laughed softly. " You know it take most men sometime to admit how they feel about someone. Looks like Snow just did it and beat you and I both Balthier . We better watch our backs or she'll be out for our jobs as well." He said as he grinned seeing the looked on her face. He could tell she didn't understand what he was talking about.

" As much as it pains me a war with those two would not be wise. The people haven't recovered yet from the other war. We can't plunge them into another war. But I will not stand for any to think they will just touch a lady without her wanting it. Nor someone dare and touch a person I care for deeply." He said as he looked to Jinx. " I will do my best to keep my temper under wraps but I will not be far from your side that I promise you. " He said as he looked to Balthier. " I say that we in act our rights as well. We have the same rights as those two. So lets use them. I believe it's only fair we spend time with the girls and make sure that we are with them constantly. Besides we can always just say we are acting as their mentors. It's not unheard of and if they asked us the others can't do a thing." Ezale said with a grin on his face.

Balthier frowned and let out a soft sigh as he listened to little Snow. "I know...I know I have a lot of responsibility right now and I'm okay with that. I'm going to try my hardest to make things right again. I can't help but get angry, you do remember I-" he stopped in mid sentence and shook his head. "I get angry easily so I apologize for that but it's beyond my control. What isn't though is the urge to hurt people that hurt me somehow but I know we're not ready for a war and I'm okay with that. I want to build everything back to the way it was before i even consider a war." Balthier said and wondered if Snow understood what he was saying.

Little Snow was still as brave and regal as the adult Snow he knew a day ago. He missed her, but little Snow was nice too. "I believe you little one. I know you'll make a wonderful queen." Balthier said with a nod of his head. "Now now, nothing is going to happen to you or to Jinx because weasel and I are going to be here to protect you both. We're going to save you if anything were to happen. Right weasel?" Balthier asked Ezale but what Snow said next left him speechless. Was she serious or just messing with him? You are the one I would choose to be with... He snapped out of his thoughts when he heard Ezale and nodded with a sad smile on his face. "Yes, I guess you're right weasel." he said quietly and looked at Ezale. "Be with the girls constantly? How do you plan on doing that? You mean, visit every day?" Balthier asked.

Jinx frowned and listened to Ezale. "Come now, it's okay. It's okay to get angry, it's perfectly normal. At least none of you hurt them, I'm proud of both of you. You especially brother. I was certain he would be your new chew toy." Jinx commented. "Which one of the two? Because both of them were testing me and it was really hard to resist hurting them." Balthier answered. Jinx smiled in understanding and looked at Ezale. "I do think war isn't the smartest idea at the moment. Perhaps once everything is back to what it once was." she commented and smiled at Ezale, blushing softly. He really was the same sweet Ezale from school.

" Yes one of us can be with both of them and we can trade off. You need white powered and help with your land Snow's land can give you that. I suggest you invite Snow and her people with the skills you need to your Kingdom to help your people. Besides the Kingdom of White is the only other Kingdom with a army that has Skills close to the Black Kingdom. Once the White and Black Kingdoms where great friends. If you both trained your armies together you could make your armies strong again. Besides I'm sure there are things you would love to show Snow. That way you can still work on rebuilding your land and spend time with Snow. Just as when you don't need Jinx I'd be honored to have her here with me if she would like. " Ezale said as he smiled softly as Jinx. " However if that man dare's to touch you again I'll rip his heart out!" He said suddenly as fain black aura appearing around him as he thought about Jabber.

Snow looked from one to another as she kept quiet. She liked Ezales idea and thought about Jabber as she looked to Jinx and then to Balthier. " That man said he was excited because there was another dragon. So do dragons act that way? " She asked as she thought about Jabber." I don't believe that anyone here is like that crazed man if you can call him that. I have faith in everyone here. Now if you excuse me I feel really tired all of a sudden." She said as she hit the ground looking very sleepy."

"That's true, I do need to invite the people over to help, we need all the help we can get and I suppose all kingdoms could honestly help each other grow." Balthier started. "I think that is a great idea! It would really be nice to learn about the other kingdoms and help the others out whenever we can. Besides, I know you would enjoy being able to spend time with her." Jinx said to her brother. Balthier sighed, "I do want to have a strong army but right now my priorities are with the people's businesses. I need to help them build their businesses back up first before I can even think of doing anything else." Balthier explained honestly. What would he want to show Snow? Besides his castle and the field of black roses. He wasn't going to show her his dragon form, he didn't need to scare her. "You can have my sister here if you like, just behave especially when I'm not around." Balthier said. There he was, being the overprotective brother again.

Jinx listened to both men and then laughed at what Ezale said and then clapped her hands. "Oh that sounds beautiful!" she gasped. "As for spending time with little Snow, I'd love to but ultimately it's up to her." her brother had said. However, when little Snow hit the ground, she gasped and watched as Balthier picked her up in his arms and sighed softly. "Is she okay?" Jinx asked worriedly. "She'll be fine, she's just tired Jinx." Balthier assured.

Snow looked to Jinx as she smiled softly. " I would enjoy spending time with you and with Balthier." She said as she curled up in Balthier's arms and smiled softly. " Thank you, see I told you that your Kind. Maybe we can play later?" She asked as she yawned and fell asleep in his arms. She wrapped her arms around his neck in a loving manner finding herself in a wonderful dream with him. She held a soft smile on her face as she dreamed.

"Oh my I think this was a little much for her today. She isn't use to using her magic like she did today. Something we should work on." Wonderland said as she looked to Balthier. " If you would like I can show you to your room. In fact I could show you as well Lady Jinx." She said softly as she smiled and looked at Balthier. " Besides I doubt you would want to part with little Snow. I already made arrangements for you all to sleep together while you stay here. Ezale of course will be in his room. I figured you could handle protecting both the girls while they stay here Balthier. Besides I have a feeling if we tried to take little Snow from you she would wake up instantly. "


Ezale was about to worry when he heard Wonderland. He gently took Jinx' hand as he turned and lead the way into the castle. His guards still on guard as he passed through the open doors for them. The castle was large and very beautiful. He enjoyed having the people come and stay there with him. Without people there the castle felt lonely and to much for him. He smiled as he saw the cooks and bakers at work getting ready for their surprise for everyone this evening. He turned as he looked at Jinx. " We have a surprised for dinner for everyone this evening." He said as he lead them up the stairs to the bedrooms. He smiled as Wonderland ran through the hall wanting to lead them. " I'm glad she is happy. " He said softly as he looked to Jinx. " As King I will try and keep all happy and that includes you."

Balthier smiled at Snow and nodded. "Of course we can play later. We can play whenever you like." Balthier said to her and held her protectively in his arms. She looked so peaceful in her sleep, he was glad. When he heard Wonderland, Balthier nodded because she was right. He didn't want to be apart from her again, he liked being able to hold her like this even if it was just going to be for a while. So Ezale would be sleeping all alone? Well that didn't seem fair, but if he knew his weasel, he would find his way to spend some time with Jinx while he slept. The weasel was sneaky last thing he remembered.

Jinx walked beside Ezale and looked back to make sure her brother was following them, of course he was but his eyes were on the sleeping Snow in his arms. Turning her attention to Ezale, Jinx looked around the castle and smiled. "This is a beautiful castle you have Sir Ezale." she said, trying to be formal, although she wasn't sure what he wanted her to call him. "A surprise dinner?" she repeated and smiled. "That sounds delightful!" she admitted. "My brother gets very cranky when he's hungry. It's part of the dragon package." she whispered so only Ezale could hear and then giggled cutely. "I'm glad she's happy too. This is how it's always supposed to be and I know we can get it this way again if we work hard." she said and blushed brightly at his words, nervously looking down at her feet.

Wonderland lead them to a large room decorated in white and black. She smiled as she showed them inside. " Come on in this is your room for the next few days. Please tell me what do you think? I thought you might like your room a little more privet so I put you here." Wonderland said as she smiled very proud of herself. She looked at Ezale and smiled. " Oh my of course Ezale can do what he wishes I mean he is the king here. " She said as she smiled and looked at Lady Jinx. " You'll make a beautiful Queen. Oh and your outfits are done. The people of your kingdom made them."

Ezale blushed softly hearing Wonderland as he cut his eyes at her. " That was uncalled for!" He said as he closed his eyes and crossed his arms over his chest. "humph" He said as he finally open his eyes and saw Jinx. " Though I'm curious if you do like the room here. Wonderland insisted on decorating. She went all out. She was so excited to have you all here. She really has been looking forward to this. " He said as he smiled looking at some of the flowers in the room.

Balthier looked around the room and smirked in approval. "It's dark looking, I love the black. Black is such a happy color." he said softly as he looked at Jinx, he wondered if she liked the room as well. But knowing her sister, she would obviously love it, especially the flowers. "Wonderland decorated?" he repeated and looked at her, "You did a wonderful job, thank-you. It's nice to feel so welcomed here." he said to her then looked down at the sleeping Snow in his arms. He would do anything to keep her safe, he wasn't the best friend to her before, but that was all going to change now. He wasn't going to leave her alone, he knew he couldn't bring her along to his castle but he would be sure to visit every day.

Jinx smiled as she admired the room they would be staying at for the night. "It's beautiful, thank-you so much!" she thanked both Ezale and Wonderland. Jinx was confused by what Wonderland said next though and wondered why Ezale was blushing, she blushed lightly though and smiled. "Thank-you, I hope I can be a great Queen." she said and started to worry. What if the people didn't like her? What if she failed as a queen? "M-My outfits?" she repeated. "How kind of them to do so!" she said, a large smile on her face. "They must have worked so hard on them.." she said to herself. "I love this room." she answered Ezale honestly.

"It is?" she asked, it was a nice custom to have. This place really was strange but she was learning so much and she was grateful for that. Her yellow eyes widened when she saw the large black staff, it was absolutely breathtaking. "Oh my!" she gasped and bowed her head in thanks before accepting the gift. "This is absolutely beautiful, thank-you so much!" Jinx thanked wonderland and held it close to her chest while listening to Wonderland. wonderland was right, she really was unsure of her own abilities to be queen, but she was going to do her very best. Magic! How could she have forgotten? Of course she had magic, but at least now she knew what specific magic she had and how to use it. "I understand, thank-you so much." she thanked Wonderland and bowed her head once again.

Balthier stood back against the wall, his eyes closed as he rested with Snow in his arms. He was looking forward to tomorrow, but at the same time he knew that tomorrow was going to be a very busy day. He'd be ready though, he wanted to help his people grow and he needed to have an army incase ware really did happen. His yellow eyes suddenly opened and he looked down at the sleeping Snow in his arms, then over at Jinx who seemed very happy. These two girls were his entire world and he would do anything to keep them safe. Take care of your younger sister, Balthier. he remembered his mother's words before he and Jinx had left for school. He wondered what she was up to, probably having tea with the evil queen or Cruella.

Balthier nodded and bowed in respect and thanks, "I will cherish these gifts always." he promised and was glad to know he wouldn't be exhausted anymore. That had always been an issue when turning into his dragon form, it was why he didn't like to do that anymore but if the bracelet was going to prevent it from happening then everyone could be sure that he would be in his dragon form at times now. Balthier looked down at little Snow still sleeping in his arms, she must have really been tired, poor thing. "They are both beautiful, I know little Snow here will love them." Balthier said. Little Snow was going to have a lot of powers now and he knew she would do a great job of using them. She was a smart girl and wouldn't let all of this go to her head.

Jinx looked at Wonderland and shook her head. She was more than happy with the staff but smiled when she was told of the ring. A ring just for her? She wasn't sure that she was wise, but she did know that she always wanted to help others. She was always the one to calm Balthier down so that he wouldn't do anything foolish. "She always does her best to help others. She puts others before herself." Her brother commented with a smirk. "Our mother told me to take care of her but I feel that Jinx is also taking care of me, smart little girl." he added and laughed softly. Jinx blushed at his words and looked at the ring that Wonderland held out to her. "It's absolutely beautiful!" she gasped. Jinx accepted the ring and stared at it before slipping it onto her finger carefully.

Wonderland smiled happily as she looked from Jinx to Balthier and beamed with happiness. " I have faith in you both." She said as she turned and looked to Ezale. " As for my King I chose a ring that would give you enchanted armor like that of Balthier's bracelet should you need it. Your ring will also heal you from any wound. Your ring will also magnify your own power making you twice as strong." She said as she gave him the Golden ring with a green jewel in it. And lastly I give you Wonderland Sword. " This Sword can cut through anything in wonderland. With this sword you can forge your own destiny here. The sword has it's own magical properties that even I'm not fully aware of. Only the true King of wonderland can wield this sword. With this sword you can protect and mold Wonderland into how you see fit. " She said as she smiled softly.

Ezale looked at the white sword that she gave him. There where beautiful blue jewels embedded in it. He quickly wrapped it's holder around his waist so it now hung on his left side. He looked to the ring as he felt stronger than before. He thanked wonderland as he smiled looking at the others." Well I'd say we have had a eventful day." He said as she smiled looking to Snow. " She must be tired. " He said as he watched her sleep. " Maybe I should go make sure that dinner preparations are underway."

Balthier leaned back against the wall with Snow in his arms and ran his fingers through her hair gently. He wondered what she would want to play whenever she woke up, maybe she'd throw snowballs at him when he wasn't looking. The thought of little Snow running around and throwing snowballs at him made him chuckle. He listened to wonderland and watched her give some gifts to Ezale. He felt bad for not being able to give Wonderland anything but figured he'd think of something soon to give her. When he heard Ezale, he nodded, "Yes she must be very tired, poor little thing." he answered and smiled warmly down at Little Snow. She was so cute.

Jinx nodded, "It was a very eventful day. It must have really taken it's toll on her." she said quietly and looked at Ezale. "Oh I'll go with you!" she said and gasped when she realized what she said. "I-I mean, if you want to go with you. If you'd rather go alone I will wait for you here." Jinx explained quietly so that she didn't wake Snow.

Jinx blushed and smiled at Ezale, "My brother isn't too picky." she said and looked back to Balthier who was busy looking at Snow. She turned her attention back to Ezale and nodded, "I'll do my best to help out." she said and took his arm walking with him to the kitchen. Knowing she was always welcome here with him really gave her butterflies in her stomach, she was going to try and visit him everyday. Of course work came first though. When they arrived at the kitchen, Jinx looked around in awe and then looked at the dishes laid out for Ezale. "Oh my, that's a lot of food!" she gasped. They could feed so many people with all that food, it was obvious that they wouldn't finish it all themselves. "This all looks absolutely wonderful King Ezale!" Jinx said and looked at the sandwiches, they looked so cute! "My brother is a carnivore. As long as there are meats, he is a happy man." she said as she looked at the sandwiches. "So if these sandwiches have any sort of meat, he'll eat them happily." She informed and was glad to hear that the food that wasn't eaten was given to the people. "I'm glad to hear that." Jinx said and picked up a pink heart sandwich and took a bite. She smiled, it was delicious. Eating this, she knew this dinner was going to be simply amazing.

"Those two should really just get married." Balthier muttered and sat down on the edge of his bed. It was crystal clear to see that Ezale and Jinx still cared deeply about each other. When they first arrived here, Jinx had been nervous because Ezale didn't look the same, he knew she was afraid that he had forgotten all about her. Perhaps the old Ezale was gone, but this new one seemed to really care about his sister and it looked like Jinx cared about him too. He was happy for her, she deserved to be happy after all. He wouldn't mind if the new snow hated him once she got older, but he hoped that at least Jinx could be happy with that weasel.
