Cosplay time
 

I would like to talk about cosplay and I have been wanting to do for the longest time but I didn't have the money for it and I can't make my own so I am wondering where can i find the best cosplay outfits website and the other thing it is hard to find people that love anime that cosplay around me there is nothing around me to find a friend and we can cosplay for friend>.< anyway please comment and I want to see about this and I am from Pennsylvania and i live in the country so no cosplayers or anime people around me.

I kind of got that in one breath thing to. xD how funny.

However... i can't really help with cosplay other than guessing based on what i've seen from other people. Like start small. Don't try to get it perfect. Have fun with it. And don't let any negative comments seem like a critique on you, cause people can be jerks about cosplayers :[ and its just not right. Cause not everyone has the money and time or even the skill for it. But if you want to do something you love than do it no matter what other people say.

I have not gotten into cosplaying myself cause i have absolutely no idea what i would do, no money to pay others, and no skill with a sewing machine.... i do mean complete and total failure. I can not sew. things i sew fall apart....

I did get donated a rainbow wig by a friend though. So who knows. piece things together bit by bit, and wear what's comfortable to you. ^^

it is true how people are rude to cosplayers but i could care less. I would like to cosplay for fun and stuff i am not a thin girl and I wear glasses but i will wear my glasses when i cosplay. I would have to buy them though but hey it is for fun. ^^

well you can always pick up wigs on amazon. i'll talk to my cosplaying friends and see if i can find the sites i've seen before again.

yea i am trying to find sites and cosplay outfits that are meant for me but other then that i would do it for fun.

you should just start a log of cosplay sites in general in the first post. not just for you. :] i mean if you find any. that way other people might be able to find the site to. haven't found that one site i mentioned yet. but when I do i'll tell you.

But yeah, there are lots of resources if you know where to look. Tutorials, etc. Plus there are a plethora of online stores you can get wigs and the like from -- even full cosplay outfits!

Also, Google is your friend. Never forget that.

I think she's asking for some direct links of ones we know are good. Though i have none to offer. ^^;;

I know cosplay.com had an online shop for wigs at one point, but I have no idea if it still exists. I know Arda and Five Wits have online shops.

As far as other resources? Cosplay.com would be a place to start. Also various groups on facebook -- you might be able to find some cosplayers close to you.

If you're looking for decently priced things like accessories and supplies and wigs and whatnot for cosplay, try Wish.com everything ships for a dollar (for the most part), but it takes a long time bc most of the items are from japan, and you should always read the reviews

Yeah Wish.com is pretty awesome. I got a lot of things there for various cosplays that I'm working on for super cheap, I jsut make sure to order them at least a month and a half before I need them.

Yup, but the site sells more than cosplay stuff, they have like literally everything, from clothes to house decor and kitchen supplies, its pretty nice.
