"Sounds great!" Gemini said, heading out to the kitchen.

"I still don't think this dress is appropriate." Lori grumbled from the bathroom. It was the day of the event a week after Lori had given back the gem.

"You look fine." Harley assured her. "Now come out."

"Lori is the plan." Harley grinned pulling her sister into a chair so she could do her hair and makeup. "Bruce will be so busy drooling over her he's not even going to notice."

"And if he does I have a back up plan." Lori promised closing her eyes. Once Harley was done with her she turned to Gemini "Your turn."

Harley finished her work then nodded. "Off you two go. The limbo will be here any second." she hugged them both, handed over there clutch's then pushed them out the door.

Lori lead the way fidgeting with her shawl. "Is it weird to be nervous?"

"Yeah...you know this will be the first official date in public." Lori spotted the limbo they had ordered and climbed in. She glanced at her dress and smiled "he really is going to lose his mind." she smirked. "I can't wait to see the look on his face."

"Hey it wouldn't be a date in Gotham if someone wasn't stealing something." Lori laughed and then sighed when she spotted the museum. "Look at those vultures." she glared at the news people. She stepped out first ignoring the flashes as she began to scan the crowd for Bruce.

Gemini put on her best disinterested face and stepped out after Lori, ignoring the flashing cameras. They weren't flashing at her, anyway.

Bruce, of course, was already there. He was watching the line of guests approaching, waiting to spot Lori among them. When he did, a smile graced his features and he waved her over.

Lori grabbed Gemini's wrist and carefully wound them threw the crowd. "Hello Bruce. You look daper as always." she grinned reaching up to fix his how tie. "What do you think?" she gestured to her dress. "I clean up pretty well don't I?"

Bruce smiled wider, about to greet Lori when he saw her fully. His jaw dropped and he blushed brightly. He vaguely registered a camera flash nearby, but didn't pay much attention. "You look...wow." He cleared his throat and tried again. "You look amazing, Lori."

Gemini smirked, quietly placing her camera back into the small purse she was carrying. That picture was going up on the wall later...and possibly social media as well.

"Thank you." Lori smiled and took his arm gently. "Had to make sure I looked good on the arm of Gothams' prince." she smiled for the cameras.

Bruce chuckled. "You don't have to dress up to look good. You always look good." He said, leading her through the crowd and into the museum proper.

Gemini took a few more pictures, then wandered off on her own, deciding to lay low until it was time for her big performance.

Lori laughed. "Yes well I don't think the other would appreciate it if I was wearing by baggy ripped pants and shirt. She spotted the jewel and oohed at it. "It''s so beautiful...where did they find it?" she asked managing to keep her face neutral.

Bruce shrugged and glanced back at the jewel. "Actually, it was strange. It just kind of...appeared randomly. I don't know much about it, for my part." He said.

"How strange. Do you think it was just a publicity stun?" Lori was trying hard not to smirk. "It is a nice party though." she grabbed a flask of champane.

Joker was outside the building planning his grand scheme smirking a little.

Bruce shrugged. "Possibly. I wasn't in on it, so I wouldn't know. Either way, I'm glad the museum has it." He said. "It is a nice party, though they honestly blend together at this point."

"Don't worry I'll make it entertaining!" Lori grinned at him. 'Sipping the champane a small smirk on her face. At that moment Joker entered the room grinning. "Right on time." Lori whispered glancing at the gem.

"Hello everyone. I'm just here to pick something up. No one needs to be a hero." Joker smirked as the guards rushed him. His henchmen took them out as Joker chuckled. "That's what happens to heros."

Bruce sighed. "Should have known. Sorry, Lori, I'll have to get back to you." He said, pulling away to find somewhere he could change.

From her place in the shadows, Gemini smiled. Showtime. She quickly transformed and waited until all eyes were on Joker. Then, just as he was ready to take the jewel, she appeared out of nowhere and plucked it carefully from right in front of him. Smiling behind her mask, Kitsune tilted her head in a coy manner, waved goodbye, and disappeared in a swirl of fire.

"Wait Bruce!" Lori hurried after him and pouted. "You can't leave me alone with these people. So either you have to stay or take me with you."

Joker growled and went after her leaving his minions to rob the crowd.

Bruce paused, fighting with himself. "...Fine, come on then. But hurry, we can't lose him."

Though she could have disappeared completely, Kitsune specifically made sure to pause at strategic locations so that Joker could spot her. She stayed just out of arm's reach, clearly taunting him by letting him get close but never letting him catch her.

"Your going to have to unzip me." Lori warned. "Just so you know I don't have bra on." this had been her plan b. He was a guy after all it would at least make him pause long enough to give Ge.ink enough of a head start. She dodged into a room and pulled him in turning so he could unzip her.

Joker growled then smirked whistling softly. His hyenas jumped out of the shadows in front of her cackling softly.

Bruce froze, unable to make himself do what Lori was telling him to do. "...No. You know what? Never mind. But just so you know, you could have just told me Gemini had something planned." Of course, being the one who'd recruited her, he knew what Gemini looked like when she transformed.

Kitsune paused, smirking behind her mask. "Oh, hello there boys. Want to play? Be careful now, I play rough." She warned casually, speaking to the hyenas in their own language.
