Yang looked around as she approached the center of the room. "All that's missing is..." She quickly turned to the balcony. "Is the bad guy." She smirked as she saw Cornello gloating at the top. "If you wanted to see me, you should of just invited me! That guy you sent to my room was rather... weak. It took one good move and he was out like a light... Come on now, you could do it a little LESS cliched couldn't you?"

Ren sighed as he watched his older sister talk herself into trouble once again. Though he wondered just how she was going to get out...and would only help if she needed it.

"Come now child! Is that anyway to speak to your elders?" Cornello spoke as he approached the railing. Placing a hand upon it, he continued. "You and your brother showed up at the most inconvenient time. I find it sad, I was hoping to get the FullMetal Alchemist instead of you."
"I AM FULLMETAL!" Yang shouted, getting pissed off that Ren was thought of as the State Alchemist. Why? Because even as a guy, 'Tai' was seen as effeminate? Ren would be wise to hurry up if they wanted to talk to Cornello. Knowing him, he was hiding in the shadows. |
Ren let out a soft chuckle at that. Just like being called 'bimbo' Yang's second biggest pet peeve was him being mistaken for the Fullmetal instead of her. Knowing that Cornello was about to get the full fury of Yang Elric and stepped out of the shadows.

"What?! You are Fullmetal?! I thought he was." Cornello replied as Ren stepped out of the shadow.
"Ren.. Seriously... He's going to die..." She growled. |
"Do you want me to help or do you think you can take him by yourself?" He asked before seeing Cornello making a motion and two gates rose up. Hearing a growling from inside, Ren scowled lightly as he saw two sets of yellow eyes blink into existence.

"Chimeras huh..." Yang sighed, "That the best you can do?" She launched out to Cornello while the two walked around them ready to attack. "Ren, If you want I can handle this... or we can split the work." She smirked. She wasn't ready to reveal her secret weapon yet, opting for a different approach. She clapped her hands and touched the ground. Calling upon a spear, she readied herself for battle. 'Haven't used this in ages.' She thought to herself.

"Well if you don't want to use that I can help" he said before he send a thought to the conduits in his arms. The skin parted in two on both hands as a weapon came forth and rolled down into his hands. Once that was done, the skin closed back up, as if nothing was abnormal about it in the first place. Yang might not be summoning her 'babies' as she tended to call them, but he was definitely going to be using his.
Besides, not everyone was special enough to clap a Transmutation Circle together. |
"Oh don't look jealous." She smirked, blocking an attack from the Chimera that attacked. The staff didn't hold but at least her leg did. She released the breath she had been holding, always hating when her automail was hit. Thankfully it held through as she took the broken part of the staff and smacked the Chimera across the face hard. "Damnit, Ruined a perfectly good pair of pants!" She shouted, before delivering a roundhouse kick to knock it to the side..

"At least I don't look like a honey trap," Ren shouted back as he blocked the Chimera's bite with one of his two blades before pulling the trigger on the other, allowing a small burst of ammo to fire straight into its jaw. "And hey, at least we know why we were feeling the sense of weird coming from the bastard"

"Oh shut up Ren!" Yang growled as she glared at her brother. It was that second the Chimera used to attack.
"Yes, Rip him apart!" Cornello shouted as Yang blocked the blow with her arm. The beast gnawed her arm, Yang fighting against the weight and forced used on the attack. "Rose... That's you up there too isn't it?" She called out, "He wanted to show you heretics, did he?" She groaned out as the beast pushed on her just a little bit. She wasn't in danger, not yet. |
"Yes she is, Taiyang. She believes in what I have been telling the rest of the town and now I get to show her two heretics!" Father Cornello shouted out before motioning Rose to come forward.
Rose reluctantly came forward, not knowing what to believe in anymore...especially with what Tai and Ren had told them about how it was impossible to resurrect anyone...even her beloved. Because of that though...she didn't know what to believe: The father...or them. |
"Yet you'd play god in creating these things? And you call us Heretics." She growled, "Get off me you damn furball!" She brought her head down to headbutt the Chimera, the force causing it's teeth to shatter against her arm. "Maybe I should show you what happens when you decide to go that far. To try to be a god when you have no rights to." Just as she was about to continue, the Chimera made one final attempt to kill the alchemist before it. Yang dodged it, taking it's attacking leg into her arm and flipping the beast over her shoulder into a pillar. She felt the binding caught on the claw, loosening the fit. At this point, she wanted to destroy this thing. Her coat, her jeans and now the binding was tore. At least her top was still intact. "I swear, This day keeps getting better... and better..." She growled angerly.

Rose's eyes widened in surprise at that. All this time...Taiyang was actually a female? Blushing lightly at the fact that she developed a crush on a girl.
Ren grabbed the lunging Chimera with his two hands, its teeth dangerously close to his head...and where the seal keeping his soul tied down to was. Sending a thought to his weapons as he held the beast at bay, the two weapons made their way towards their owner. And while doing so, also severed the head of the Chimera. |
"I guess the jig is up." Yang pulled loose the braid, letting her hair go back to normal.|
"YOUR A GIRL?!" Cornello let out, shocked at this. "This girl has more ba..." She stopped when Ren hit her with a tooth that was lying by him. "Fine fine." She sighed, looking up at Rose. "You want to see what truly playing god it like?" She removed her jacket. "Take a good close look at us." She dropped her jacket. "Do you want this to happent o anyone else?!" |
Ren pressed a button hidden at the bottom of his neck before the camouflage skin disappeared, leaving him in his true form, that of a metal man. "Rose...we have both trifled with power that we did not understand and paid a terrible price for it. No one else deserves this punishment," he commented before picking his blade guns up, the two going into the compartment hidden within his arms.

As soon as Cornello called them out for their crime, Yang closed her eyes before glaring at him. "We wanted our mother back. I lost my leg, and Ren nearly his entire body. What didn't get taken was just a shell. But I fused a suit of armor with him, and used Alchemy to seal him to it. It's a mess, but at least he looks like my brother still." Yang was furious as she explained. "You want to see this happen Rose?! I do not care if he has the stone, once someone is dead they cannot be brought back to life. It's impossible!"

"Father...is it true?" Rose asked softly.

"It is true Child. Using Alchemy one cannot bring the dead back to life. But put your faith in me, I have the power of the Sun God Leto." Cornello smiled.
"Bastard..." Yang growled. |
"You bastard, stop toying with Rose's emotions like that!" Ren shouted angrily at the Father, surprising Yang since it took a lot for him to get angry at something, or someone. "He's lying to you, pure and simple!"

"It's you that is toying with her emotions!" Cornello used his stone on his cane to create a rather impressive gatling gun. "Now silence, Heretics!" He shouted before unloading at them.
Yang had quickly created a shield, keeping down. "Damn bastard... How could such an asshole make a gun that looks that cool." She sighed. |
”That’s what you’re commenting on?” Ren asked as he raised an eyebrow, perplexed as bullets rained down on them. He knew that his sister’s shield wouldn’t hold for long and knew that someone had to come up with a plan before it broke. He could take the bullets, but knew that she could not.

"Ren... Run distraction. I'll close the gap and destroy his gun." Yang said as she clapped her hands again to reinforce the barrier she created. "Damn him, It must have unlimited ammo with how much he's firing. We need to close this before his goons get behind us." She knew the tactic, having used it with Ren before. Distract and flanking. Thankfully, All her fighting with the military actually paid off more then she wanted to admit.

Ren nodded before darting out from the shield, zig zagging across the sands so that he wouldn't get hit. Hey, just because he could take a shot and not die didn't mean he wanted to get shot at! Plus a moving target would still be a distraction, perfect for what Yang needed to do. Though she definitely owed him for doing this...

Cornello was so focused on the target out that Yang was able to unleash her assault. With a clap, She launched herself up using the ground to act as a platform. She landed before Cornello, creating a blade on her arm to slice through the gun. Cornello moved quickly to jump back. "I'm not going to let you abuse these people any longer." Yang let out as she heard footsteps heavily approaching. "Rose... Please, Trust me." She said, before creating a doorway for them.
