So I ended up getting the bottle cap. FYI - It only works on a level 100 pokemon. >.<

FYI - The game actually gives you a bottle cap. So this card thing really only gives you an extra one. And it's not like an automatic thing. You have to do things in game to unlock something in the plaza to be able to use it from what I read. I would give you mine if I hadn't already claimed it. It honestly seems more of a pain in the ass than anything else.

You have to get it from gamestop before the deadline or while items last. But once you claim it in game it's just an item in your inventory that can sit around forever as far as I understand it...

I haven't played sun much lately. I'm thinking about picking up a copy of moon as well. That way I can get all the version exclusive pokemon without having to rely on the gts.

I'm rather sad I didn't get the box set when it came out for sun and moon. Granted I like the trading aspect but it would be fun to play through both of them [yes]

Since I defeated the Elite 4 and started the ultra beasts quests I haven't really been in the mood to play pokemon Sun at all. Did anyone else lose their drive after the end of the game? [:?]

I dunno... I'm just right at the beginning of the Elite Four XD FINALLY! lol!

We should trade our ultra beasts if you continue for a bit after the end. It comes pretty much right afterwards. I'm on the second mission where you have to catch 2 of the same beast but the Sun and Moon beasts are different so we could catch and exchange if you're interested...

Zig - Now that I have my finished team (using one of the ultras to balance my team) the task of grinding them all up to the same level is painful and not fun.

I suppose my biggest issue with games like this is that I don't really have friends irl to play with, and playing with friends online is always a hassle fighting the coding to let us play.

That makes sense Poet. I guess I mean like doing the after story stuff. Usually I go along and finish that stuff no problem but I feel like this time I have no drive really...

I just looked up the list of pokemon, I think I'll try to start working on my pokedex finally. Looks like most of what I have left to do are difficult catches and version exclusive trades and breeding to get the evolutionary forms.

That would be my guess. It was very nice of them to give us extras so we can trade to get the other version exclusive via the GTN.

Has anyone found a reasonable way to make money? That's another issue I've had. There is the "throw the things back into the ocean" but the profits are minimal and can only be done I think once a day.

I have mostly been trying wonder trade to get new pokemon, and it's working okay but I get tired of magikarp.

Honestly I didn't think the chucker mission was that bad. I try to do it every day but I've been lapsing on that lately. ^^;

Has anyone tried the Battle Buffet? I don't know if you make money from it or not.

I've tried it but I can't recall what you get from it. [sweat]

I just completed my Alola dex and am shiny hunting for a shiny stuffel.
I got up to 135 sos encounters then quit cause I got bored -__-

I just wish that pokemon was more cooperative. Like you could run around on the map with a friend.
It's too much of a pain to organize battles.

A co-op mode would be fun for sure! I love co-op games since I'm not really a competitive person.

Well thing is, they already have the "play with the friends around you" in other games, so it's totally possible. If a player walks by you, playing the game, let them pop up in your game. Great way to let people make friends, dueling on the spot if you wanted.

I've never experienced it but for a lot of games like some Mari games you can connect through Wi-Fi. Pretty sure pokemon has it too but of course this requires having friends irl.

Companies never seem to get that whole "playing WITH friends" part down very well.

that's so true. Co-op is so under appreciated :/ I remember when Gears of War came out and I was all over that game! My friend and I beat it in one night!! XD I wish more games, Including Pokemon!, were drop in/drop out co-op!
