I finally got around to working on my Sun and Moon pokedex! [squee] So far its mostly been a bunch of breeding then there's will be catching and leveling to do.

I'm slowly filling mine in. Just got the moon exclusives to fill in yet along with a few others.

Wonder why there's no national dex this time.

Yup! those are SOS battles!
Yeah they are annoying D': especially if you are trying to catch a pokemon, only for the pokemon to break out of the ball, and then another pokemon comes out of nowhere -__-

That cry for help really is annoying. You beat it only for them to summon another one. That thing needs a cooldown.

I 100% agree. It's a pure pain in the ass. It's good for farming shinies but thats about it.

I think if at the very least it could only do it every other turn it would be reasonable.

I finally picked up a copy of moon so I cam get the moon exclusives to complete my dex in sun.

I always tell myself I'll complete the pokedex, and then never do. My poor Pokemon Sun game is just rotting away, along with my 3DS. ;_;

I kinda ended up doing the same. The main person I actively played it with stopped playing after I whooped them =/

I feel super bad about it, especially since I started a second playthrough. I wish the pokemon save system was a bit more forgiving with starting new games. I like to play over and over again, rather than rotting in the post game. :P

That's the reason why I bought both X and Y when they came out, so I could play once through Y and then keep resetting X if I wanted to keep playing it over again.

You can also subscribe to the pokemon bank. It's only $5 a year and you could upload all of your pokemon onto the bank then restart and still have your pokemon in the cloud where you can pull them to whatever game you want (XY, Alpha/Omega, Sun/Moon).

Interesting... I don't know if I'd ever remember to use that.

Yeah, exactly. When I restarted my game I moved over a bunch of essential pokes to his game to move back after.

The thing about that is that trading takes forever. With the Pokémon bank you can move entire boxes over with just the press of a button. [yes]

Zig - True... but I usually start from scratch each game... each "world" having it's own team. Though... that ghostie thing is by far my favorite pokemon to use in a team :D
I guess the biggest thing is, the bank isn't compatible with the only other games I own, which are pokemon red and yellow for the gameboy color [lol]

Well, the boyfriend isn't good at video games in general, so I'd probably win most battles. [lol]
