Less damage than Ava has already done.

Metal Shaming is the new fat shaming.

Amane 12-20-2016 01:21 AM

That's the Cole I got to know.

Ava The Vampire 12-20-2016 01:25 AM

I have the right to be evil,
I am being sued because I owe so much money to the hospital for my like four hospital stays in 2013.

Oh, the pains of being crazy and evil.

Please, Ava.

You literally ranted about how x metal isn't y metal. Already admitted to being a literal hipster and from then on you dug a hole so deep that you're going to have to use Amanes Special Shovel to get out of it.

Notice how three people so far here like Babymetal? Except you?

They must be doing something right if me and K-pop lover Amane likes it. Two totally different people with totally different tastes. I, after all, grew up on classic rock and metal and you insulted me.

So you're not allowed to talk about Babymetal, your hipster metal which put you in that hole you dug, or any metal here in my thread.

Lavinia 12-20-2016 10:40 AM

Can't we just agree to disagree and move on gaaiz? We are all entitled to like/dislike certain bands if we want.

I wouldn't call myself a babymetal fan but i respect them for getting big so quick and attracting worldwide attention. I'd rather it be them than one direction or justin bieber xD

But yeah, lots of metal i don't like, lots i do. Everybody has different tastes :)

I miss folk metal being big. My favourite band split up last year, Eluveitie. They use Celtic instruments on stage, it's really cool. But they fell out :(

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Always.

But there's a certain expectation that people be open minded and accept that there exists a world outside of their own little bubble. And not fight against the tide.

Music isn't one set archetype. It isn't easy to say one is and isn't due to the ever evolving nature of what we consider music.

I love all types of music but arguing i'm any less of a fan of metal because I like Babymetal pisses me off.

I still stand by what I said, Babymetal is not the same as other (which I refer to as real metal).

I also agree with Lavinia, I do respect Babymetal as musicians, does not mean I have to like their music.

And honestly, if you're upset because I don't like Babymetal, you're going to have to wake up and get used to the fact that this is the internet and people do have opinions that aren't always going to fall inline with what you think.

And I already said, let's agree to disagree.
You're the one that is really adamant that your type of music is best because you like it. Which isn't the way the world works.

It's not a big deal if I don't think Babymetal is real metal. I still think that and will always think that.

You're basically saying, "everyone is titled to their opinion as long as it doesn't hurt my widdle feelings"

I know I sound like a bitch, but honestly, that's life.
Not everyone is going to agree with you and not everyone is going to sit back and let you live in a world where no one upsets you or disagrees with you in any way.

Sorry, but you broke the rules of this thread. I said you're not allowed to talk about it.

You're therefore banned from my threads since you didn't listen to my warning of not bringing it up.

I never said I wasn't allowed to talk about it but being rude in my thread and continuing to derail it.

Anyway, to change discussion, what's everyone doing for Christmas?

Amane 12-20-2016 05:53 PM

What's the point of making plans when you can be surprised by a K-pop idol dressed like a mermaid?

APBCole 12-20-2016 06:04 PM

LOL.

Well, we always tend to have food plans. Not much else. We go by what happens and stuff.

Amane 12-20-2016 06:23 PM

He made a fabulous singing mermaid.

We don't do food for Christmas day. Just gifts.
