"Oh come on, we knew you'd go beat all the region's," Mel pointed out. "But last I talked to you there was no mention of secret bases."
"Zoroark knows Secret Power," Ithica said with a shrug. "I've been checking out all of the secret base spots I come across, I just haven't found exactly the right one yet." She grinned. "Eventually, I'll find one I like enough to set up a secret base."
Mel snorted. "That will not surprise me in the least when you do," she said. "But I reserve the right to go tour your secret base."
"Oh of course," Ithica said, nodding. "I'll mark it on your region map and everything so you know where it is." She grinned. "Anyways, now you know my general plans and everything I've been up to."
"Yup. And really, you already know what's going on with me." Mel grinned a bit. "Although I might start looking around now for a good piece of property."
"Let me know if you find one and I'll send you the money for it," Ithica said. She grinned. "In the meantime, I'm going to demolish another League and then I think I want to head to the Orange Islands."
"Sounds like a solid plan," Mel agreed with a grin. "I'll let you know when I'm on the move, it'll probably be soon."
Ithica nodded, and yawned a bit.
"I should go," she said. "Time to settle in. I'll figure out where I'm headed in the morning." |
"Alright. I'll talk to you later." Mel grinned and twiddled her fingers. Vulpix chirped a good-bye as well.
"I'll call you next time I annihilate someone important," Ithica said. She grinned and waved, and then turned off the call. Stretching, she headed back over to the cots and settled down.
Red had already staked claim of a cot and settled in, eyes half lidded as he let a couple of his Pokemon out to relax.
Ithica let her own pokemon out as well and settled in.
"So I'm thinking I want to head to the Orange Islands first, rather than take on the Indigo Plateau," she commented to Red. "Thoughts?" |
"Fine with me," Red agreed, stretching out a bit. "Haven't been out that way in a long time."
"I'm sure," Ithica said. She grinned a bit. "I don't remember a whole lot about the Orange League, it's been years since I saw any of those episodes and there was nothing in the games about it. I remember it was weird though."
Red blinked a bit at the shift in language, but it did make sense now. So did her knowledge. "You could say that," he agreed after a moment.
"I remember something about an ice toboggan?" Ithica said tentatively. "And a Bulbasaur helping carve it out of the frozen geyser, that I do remember, because I remember thinking that was a terrible, terrible choice."
Red smirked. "That may have happened," he agreed. "At some point. Hard to say, though."
Ithica blinked, and then she snickered.
"You and your Bulbasaur?" she asked, grinning. "And Pikachu, obviously." |
Red smirked. "It worked," he pointed out shamelessly.
"That was still a terrible choice," Ithica retorted, grinning. "Though I suppose it's neither here nor there, at this point."
Red shrugged, because it had gotten him what he needed in the end. "Guess you'd better start thinking about what you'll need, then."
"I'll do some research," Ithica promised, nodding. "I'm sure I can find information on the four Orange League leaders somewhere." She glanced at him. "Unless you'd like to impart some wisdom?"
Red smirked at her. "Nope." He even popped the p because he was actually a little shit.
"Oh come on," Ithica whined. "Not even a hint?"
"Not even a hint." Red's smirk had turned into a full on shit-eating grin. He was loving this, clearly.
