It made Rosemary smile just a little bit to hear that Belle liked her. "Well...it takes a while for people to change their thinking. I'm sure everyone will come around. For now, maybe talk to your mom. Get the full story, find out how she fell in love. Maybe once you know, it'll be easier to understand. And it might help you get closer to her, too." She suggested.

"yeah well parents day isn't for a couple more weeks." Belle sighed. "And I'm not writing her if the elders read it first...I would rather not take the risk."

Rosemary nodded. "Then in the meantime, think about what you're going to say to her. What questions to ask. And try to come to terms with your feelings for Cal." She said. "Once you understand them, you'll be able to handle them easier, and you'll feel better."

"I guess so." Belle sighed. "Maybe I should just bury myself in a coffin and not come back out." she snorted.

Rosemary looked puzzled. "A coffin...? Why would you do that? That seems kind of random." She said, inadvertently revealing that she knew nothing of human vampire lore.

"You..." Belle started to laugh. "You need to catch up on the world don't you?" she smirked. "Vampire lore says we sleep in coffins during the day so we don't turn into ash if the sun touches us."

Rosemary looked amused. "What? But that's not true. Who came up with such a silly idea?" She asked, chuckling.

"I have no idea how the legend got started. Maybe it was a vampire. I could ask around I'm sure there's someone old enough to remember." Belle shrugged. "There's also a bunch of tales about werewolves, zombie's, fairies, and a bunch of other creatures. You should read a few legends. I'm sure the library in town has a bunch of books."

Rosemary nodded. "Well, I know the stories about werewolves. That's one of the first think were kids learn...that they're the bad guys." She shrugged. "Mostly human propaganda, but I still don't like those stories with a big bad wolf. Anyway, maybe I'll check out the library tomorrow. I'm curious about what kind of stories there are about fey."

"None of them are good. At least not the old ones." Belle made a face then yawned. "I need sleep. Night." she headed to her room.

"Okay, good night." Rosemary said, getting up to head to her room.

Belle woke early and headed to the vampire meeting ignoring Angel and the other vampires who where frowning at her.
Alex decided to wait for Rose again hands in his pockets. |
Rosemary got up at a good time, showered and headed out. This time she wasn't surprised to see Alex waiting for her. "Good morning." She said cheerily.
Cal woke up a little late and had to throw on clothes quickly just to make it to breakfast. His pattern had changed back from vampire to chameleon, thankfully. |
Alex took her hand gentle. "Morning." he lead the way humming softly. "Oh waffles." he headed over looking like a happy child.
Belle finished up and head to breakfast sitting at the table she let her head hit the table with a thud. |
Rosemary sniffed slightly and smiled. "And it smells like they're actually edible. Today's already going good." She added.
Cal made it to the cafeteria and got his food, barely registering what was in front of him. He brought it to the table and sat down across from Belle. |
Belle looked up then without much thought stole a waffle off his tray with a sigh. "Morning." she greeted with a half smile.
Alex nodded and head over to Belle and Cal. "He looks like he's still asleep." he smirked. |
Cal blinked at the sudden disappearance of one of his waffles. "Morning." He said. "You seem upset."
"They both look that way." Rosemary replied. |
"Under statement of the year." Belle sighed biting into the waffle. At least she could stomach waffles maybe she could binge on them.
"I feel bad. At least we can admit our feelings." Alex squeezed her hand with a smile. |
Cal started in on his remaining waffles. "I don't suppose you want to talk about it?"
"True, but remember we've known each other for a few years. They only just met this week." Rosemary reasoned. |
"Nothing new to report." Belle grumbled. "Just lost in thoughts that keep going around in circles.''
"I guess so." Alex shrugged. 'I guess its hard for her needing to meet exceptions. My parents don't care so long as I don't kill anyone, transform in public or get a girl pregnant. Oh and get decent grades." |
"I see. Sorry...I wish I could help." Cal said. He certainly knew how she felt.
"You're lucky." Rosemary said. "I have expectations to meet from both of my parents, and I've managed to fail almost all of them. It's difficult when your parents are from two very different species." |
"Want to trade places?" Belle joked.
"It must be hard." Alex frowned. "I'll stick by you though no matter what." |
Cal smirked. "Thanks, but no thanks. I've got my own issues to deal with, and I wouldn't want you to have to put up with them."
"Thank you." Rosemary smiled up at him. "I really appreciate it." |
"yeah I do not want that problem." Belle grimaced and fell silent as the others joined them. "Morning."
"Morning you two." Alex sat next to Cal with a smile |
"Good morning." Rosemary said, sitting down.
"Hey." Cal greeted the others as they joined the table. |
