Todd shrugged. "I don't know. Maybe it just thinks you're as beautiful as I do." He said.
Rosemary repeated the sentiment, digging in. She ate so quickly, one would think she hadn't eaten in months. |
Belle turned bright pink. "Maybe...or it could know me." she frowned and thought of the father she had never know. "Can you tell if it's a boy or a girl?"
Alex grinned at her. "Your so cute." |
Todd shook his head. "No, not yet. It still won't fully manifest. Whoever it is, they seem to like snow, though." He said.
Rosemary looked up, mouth full of pizza. She swallowed hard and blushed. "I can't imagine how my eating like a wild animal is cute, but thank you." |
Belle knew nothing about her father so she let it go. "Well hopefully it will at least send you threw on open door next time." she smirked a little.
Alex shrugged. "I think it's cute. Your welcome." |
Todd chuckled slightly, nodding. "Or at the very least, not through glass. I have enough cuts to last me a lifetime." He said.
Rosemary smiled. "I'm so lucky to have you. Most guys find my eating habits disgusting." She said. |
Belle nodded and licked her lips. "You smell good though." her eyes tightened then she shook her head. "I mean! We should fix you up!"
Alex grinned "well there idiots." |
Todd rolled his eyes. "It seems like fate keeps putting us un this position. Maybe you should just let it happen. I really don't mind if you have a drink."
Rosemary shrugged, unable to argue with that. "I can't help it, anyway. I'm part wolf." |
"That maybe true but even if you weren't part wolf I would still find it cute." Alex shrugged a little.
Belle blinked and shook her head. "no I already had something." she lead him into the cabin and started to bandage him up. |
"...I'm so lucky to have you." Rosemary said quietly, smiling.
Todd sighed. "Yeah, yeah, you always say that." He mumbled, letting her lead him without protest. |
"Well I did just have something." Belle shrugged as she worked pausing to clean him up. "There good as new...well better anyway."
Alex blushed. "I should be the one saying that." |
Todd chuckled. "I'm starting to wonder if I'll ever be good as new." He kidded.
"Well too bad, I said it first." Rosemary teased. |
"They'll heal...though if that ghost keeps attacking you maybe not." Belle joked.
"Well I could still say it but I'll wait." Alex chuckled a little. |
"Then they'll never heal." Todd said with a chuckle.
Rosemary shrugged. "Okay. You can surprise me." |
"Want to try figuring this out?" Belle offered. "Who the ghost is I mean?"
"I am full of surprises." Alex joked. |
"I'd love to." Todd said. "But I have no idea where to start. I know nothing about them. Not a name or gender of manner of death or favorite color...nothing. The snow could be a thing, but all ghosts do something like that. That only tells me that this one is powerful."
"Good. I like surprises." Rosemary said with a smile. |
"That sucks." Belle frowned. "We can't help us if you don't give us something to work with!" she scowled.
Ed smirked. "I'll keep that in mind." he half joked. |
Todd opened his mouth to talk, but stopped when the temperature dropped drastically. Ice crystals formed on the floor in front of them, slowly creating a picture. When the picture became clear, revealing a surprisingly detailed image of a teddy bear with one eye, Todd let out a strangled sound. "That...they just...that's a picture of..." His face was virtually bloodless.
Rosemary didn't say anything for a bit as she finished several pieces of pizza. "Okay, I definitely need something to drink now. And a napkin." She said after a while. |
"Thats pretty realistic...Todd whats wrong?" Belle noticed how pale he was. "What is it?"
"What would you like?" Alex asked handing her a napkin. |
Todd gulped a few times before he was able to speak. "That's my teddy bear." He rasped. "I mean, it was, when I was a kid. It got left behind after my parents...but before that I never went anywhere without it." He was visibly shaking.
Rosemary mumbled a thank you as she wiped her mouth and hands. "Any kind of soda would be great. But no diet stuff please." She said. |
Belle let out a breath. "Holy banana butt...do you think maybe it's one of your parents?" she said it gentle like she was talking to a spooked animal.
Alex returned with root beer. "For you." he smiled. |
Todd let out a shaky breath, bordering on hysterical laughter. "It has to be. There is no one else who would know...it's too specific. The details...there are things I'd forgotten..." He ran his hands through his hair, messing it up. "How is this...possible? Why now, after all this time? I don't...this is insane." He looked close to tears.
Rosemary smiled as she caught the scent. "Ooh, my favorite! Thank you!" She said, taking the root beer from him. She took a sip and sighed contentedly. "Ah~ That is perfect." |
"I'm so sorry Todd." Belle reached out paused then pulled him in for a hug blushing a little. "We'll figure this out together."
Alex chuckled. "I'm glad I picked your favorite." |
Todd hesitated a moment, then hugged her back. He was still shaking. "I don't know if I can do this, Belle." He said quietly.
"Me too." Rosemary said happily. "It's like you've known me forever." |
Belle grimaced. "I would love to say you didn't have to but..." she glanced at the teddy bear. "At least you don't have to do it alone. You have Kyle and Holiday both of whom see ghosts then I'll be here when you need me.''
Alex smirked. "Oh but I have know you forever." He leaned forward. "I've been stalking you your whole life." he was joking of course. |
Todd nodded. "I know...thank you." He said, glancing at the now-melting teddy bear.
Rosemary burst out laughing. "Was that supposed to be creepy?" She asked in between giggles. |
