Todd chuckled and followed her, watching her with the most lovestruck look on his face.

"I hope so." Rosemary glanced downward. She'd never had a friend her own age, and she wanted one so badly.

Alex fell silent as the teacher glanced at them.

Belle slowed down so they could walk side by side. She inhaled a little a hide her smile he really does smell good. she thought to her self. and he tasted good. she shook herself banishing those thoughts from her head. They reached her cabin and she turned to him. "Thank you for walking me back."

Rosemary quickly turned her attention to the lesson.

Todd smiled. "No problem. So, I guess I'll see you tomorrow?" He asked awkwardly.

Belle kissed his cheek. "See you tomorrow." she headed inside grinning.

Alex stretched after the class was over. "I'll bring Todd his homework." he grabbed some extra papers for Todd.

Todd waited until Belle was fully inside before heading back to his own cabin, feeling like he was walking on air.

Rosemary nodded as she stretched. "Sounds good. I'll do the same for Belle." She said.

Alex kissed her cheek gentle. "See you tomorrow." he whispered and headed to his cabin. He spotted Todd and laughed. "You look pleased."

Belle was lunging on there couch looking like a cat who had gotten into the cream.

Blushing, Rosemary headed back to her cabin. She paused when she saw Belle. "Judging by your expression, I'd say you finally kissed him." She guessed.

Todd startled and turned to see Alex. "Oh, uh...yeah I guess so. It's been a productive day." He said.

"It was just on the cheek." Belle blushed a little and smiled at her. "How is your love life."

"Oh really?" Alex smirked at him. "You finally get to first base?"

Rosemary smiled. "Doing pretty good, actually. He's...no one's ever been so nice to me before. I got really lucky."

Todd blushed. "What counts as first base exactly? I got a kiss on the cheek and..." He paused. "Well, she bit me. Does that count?"

Alex nodded. "That's close enough with Belle." He patted him on the back. "Congrats." he joked.

Belle grinned at her. "I'm happy for you." she sat up to make room on the couch. "Who would have thought we would find happiness."

Todd felt his face heat up even more. "Uh...thanks." He cleared his throat. "We also made progress with my ghost, but I'm not sure I want to talk about that just yet." He still had to talk to Holiday about it.

Rosemary sat down. "Not me, that's for sure." She said. "I'm still kind of shocked. Actually, I'm pretty sure I'm dreaming. But I don't want to wake up." She added.

"You don't have to talk about it." Alex assured him. "Just...tell me if the ghost shows up." He glanced around. "I really don't feel like being punked

Belle pinched her arm as hard as she could. Then pinched herself "well I'm not asleep. You?"

Todd nodded, scratching the back of his head. "Sure, no problem." He said. "I don't think it's interested in anyone but me, anyway."

Rosemary yelped, a sound not unlike a kicked puppy. "Ow! No, I'm not asleep..." She pouted. "I wasn't being literal, you know."

"Oh." Alex looked realized. "I feel bad for you but at least it's not here for me. I hope."

Belle blinked then blushed. "Oh sorry. You should warn me I'm use to everyone always being serious."

Todd chuckled humorlessly and shook his head. "No, it's not here for you." He said.

Rosemary nodded. "I'll remember that." She said. "So...no one ever jokes at home?"

"Not really. The elders are very serious...they are going to have a fit when they meet Todd." Belle grimaced.

Alex went to respond when he noticed someone standing out in the yard watching the cabin. "Isn't that one of the vampires that came with Belle?"

Rosemary flinched a little. "Oh, yeah, that's a thing too. I imagine the pack is going to be pretty upset about my choice in boyfriend, as well." She sighed. "I'll be here to talk to if you want."

Todd looked up, startled. "What?" He spotted the vampire. "I think so, yeah. What are they doing here?" He asked, heading for the door to open it. "Uh, hey...is there something we can help you with?"

"Stay away from Belle or else." The vampire warned. "This is your only warning freak." he turned and took off before they could react.

"Some goes for me...I can't promise I'll be much help though." Belle shrugged. "I'm not good at emotions."

Todd recoiled, looking hurt. The vampire was gone before he had the chance to say anything. He glanced over at Alex. "What...was that?" He asked, keeping his voice low to hide how much the name had hurt him.

Rosemary gave a small smile. "I'm not exactly the best either, ironically. I can feel them well enough, but I tend to be blunt about what I feel from other people." She admitted.

"No idea. Some people are just hateful." Alex scowled. "It doesn't matter what he wants. He doesn't get to choose how Belle feels."

"Then we will make the most devastating pair ever." Belle laughed. "I tell people to just get over it and suck it up."

Todd nodded, but he couldn't shake the sudden ominous feeling that hung over him. "Yeah...I'll have to tell her about this tomorrow. She needs to know that something's up."

Rosemary snorted. "I try to help, but I always end up making things worse. I guess that's what happens when you're an empath with an emotionally unavailable father."

Alex nodded. "Don't worry to much. I got your back." he grinned. "And I can shift into whatever I want."

"We have issues." Belle sighed. "Want to trade parents for a little bit?" she joked. "You can have the overbearing elders and I'll take your unavailable father."

Todd smiled. "Thanks, man." He said, not knowing what else to say. "Well, I'm gonna head to bed. See you tomorrow."

Rosemary shook her head. "No, I wouldn't want to subject you to the horror that is a werewolf pack." She said.

Belle grinned. "I bite back." she joked. "I'll teach those pups a lesson." she snapped her teeth and Rose then laughed.

Alex nodded and stretched. "I'm heading to bed myself. Night."

Rosemary laughed. "I would actually pay to see that." She said. "Heaven knows my dad could use a good bite on the butt. If only I was the alpha, things would be different..."

Cal nodded and headed into his room, changing quickly before flopping into his bed.
