Time to get addicted to KFC popcorn chicken I guess.
I don't eat anything at KFC besides the chicken. And even then, I'd rather have Church's. We don't have a Church's Chicken in town. *cries*
Personally, given the option, I'll head for Chick-Fil-A. I only pop into KFC now and then cause they have those cheap meal boxes. But the chicken is salty as heck.
I don't eat Chik-Fil-A. Not because of the kerfuffle. I just don't.
I love Chick-Fil-A [love] But I live in northern Michigan where there are NONE *wails* [gonk]
I tried to be strong and not eat Chick-fil-a, but I grew up eating it and it's good. Way better than KFC. So I just keep going back. [gonk]
Aya! *glomps* We just recently got our first one here in Rhode Island. They're creeping up north. Slowly, but surely. We also recently got our first Sonic. I was disappointed with my visit to them though. The food was soooooooooo salty and all the damn shakes tasted the same, and not the flavors they claimed they should be. Bleh. It's a bit of a drive, so I won't bother going back. |
We had a Sonic and it wasn't good and it failed! We have a similar local business instead.
Sonic is just like any other fast food joint really. Ok if you're hungry, but nothing amazing. I used to appreciate that they used real ice cream and real berries in their shakes, but on this last visit, I ordered a wildberry shake and you know what it came with? Straight up vanilla ice cream shake that had raspberry and blackberry SEEDS in it. Yes, only the seeds, no fruit pulp at all! No flavor, no fruit, just vanilla ice cream with seeds in it. What the ever flipping flippity flap is that?! I sent back the first one because I was sure they made it wrong, it tasted exactly like my friend's shake, but no, the second one was exactly the same. Vanilla shake with freaking seeds in it.
All I can say is the hot dogs were gross and the fries didn't taste yummy.
My friend's favorite Sonic item is the grilled cheese. I'm like "....you can make those at home." But she said she can't cook. Man, you can cook a grilled cheese on an iron! You could probably cook one on the hood of your car on a hot summer day, why go to sonic for bread and cheese?!

Well, I'm back in boring MN now. :c |
I dunno if I believe that. I think you're the evil twin. *nods*
I think my town has the only Sonic that used to be good. We have two, and they used to be run by a really competitive husband and wife team. Horrible people to work for, though; they kept getting in trouble for not letting their school-age employees off for stuff like graduation.

It's really frustrating how some people don't understand that there is life outside of work. Like, sure, maybe all you do all the time is work, work, work and you're willing to kill yourself for the job, but not everyone else is! My manager is like that. She doesn't have any hobbies or anything. She works at work and then goes home and works there too, in the garden, keeping the house, making meals. She only works at home and at work and pretty much expects everyone else to scrimp and save and cut corners and dedicate themselves to the job like she does. Like, sorry, I don't like working understaffed every day just so you can save the company a few bucks. x_x

ALL I DO IS WORK WORK WORK NO MATTER WHAT.
All work and no play makes you dead inside. [gonk]
Tell it to economics!
Hello everyone, how are you?
Apparently we're griping about work. XD How are you, hun?
Awww man! The event ends right when I get off work. I like it better when it runs a bit late into the night and I get to hang out for the last frenzy.
HERE'S TO HOPING FOR A LONG WINTER NIGHTS!
I made it out early! But I only have a half hour to play here. Boo.
Yes, a looooong loooooooooooooong Winter Nights! |
That twelve-day one that one time was great.
Ah, the times when they forget to turn the event off are so fun. [rofl]
Forget? I see it as them dragging it out to watch us panic because time's up but the event's still on.
