That is...way sweet tea. Or coffee. Either way waaaay sweet and not something I'd drink XP
O__o I actually don't like honey that much. A single packet is too much for any coffee that I would drink. I can't imagine what that tasted like!
I like honey, and it's not terribly bad in coffee...if you don't overdo it, and if the coffee isn't brewed too strong.
I'm picky with drinking coffees ^^'. I only like certain roasts, and I don't really like it from most restaurants....either it's way too bitter, or there's too much sugar. |
To be honest it tasted like an actual headache three cups in. I just couldn't waste that much and did my best.
That reminds me of some of the drinks I've made for customers though. I've definitely put that much sugar in someone's cup before. It's very concerning.
Ugh. I don't know how people can put that much sugar in anything. Even just the thought of it makes me gag.
Also, I agree that honey in coffee is pretty good, though if I make coffee at home, I almost never sweeten it. Usually it's good black (because I buy high-quality coffee), but I usually add just a splash of milk to it. |
My coffee is usually high quality too and I love to taste the flavor notes in them, though I will admit to a fondness for hazelnut creamer. >.>
Hazelnoot creamer is best creamer!!
Ah, most flavored creamers are too sickly sweet for me . But hazelnut is a good flavor in coffee.
Yeah, I can't stand most of the creamers and I only add a little bit to cool off and flavor the coffee. Hazelnut is the only one I like. The vanilla ones are too sweet and anything overtly candy just tastes artificial. Yuck!
I can't drink hazelnut-flavored creamers =_=. Stupid allergies...
I just make my own vanilla creamer. Much less sweet, and it actualy tastes like what it's supposed to X'D |
Another good creamer is that International Delight Cold Stone Creamery. I tried putting actual ice cream in my coffee and it's not the same...
Ice cream in coffee?
Well, I figure it's not as weird as butter. Yes, butter in coffee is a thing. |
O.o?? Who puts butter in coffee? Lol
Sorry I keep disappearing. How’s everyone doing out there? |
Apparently weirdo people put butter in their coffee. I don't understand it...it sounds gross.
Definitely not what I’d put in it lol.
Yeah...the butter in coffee trend was really big several years back. I think I'd heard it was supposed to have some big health benefit or something, and now it's a keto diet thing apparently.
And if you think that's weird, I'm about to blow your mind with coffee cheese. It's apparently a big nothern Scandinavian thing. They put cheese in coffee. I think a specific type of cheese though, not just anything. |
Cheese...in coffee. Now I must research this....
Sounds weird, but it can't be as wtf as butter. |
Ch...cheese?! That’s... like imagine the horrified looks they get when they do that in front of foreigners! Lol I mean, to each their own and all that, but wow! Typically if it’s not creamer or sugar, the only other thing I put in my coffee is chocolate or chocolate milk lol.
I generally only add a splash of milk to my coffee, if I add anything.
That's me with tea...I can't stand tea with cream or milk or sugar or other additions in it; just gimme the TEA!
I'm same with tea too!
Straight tea! No additives! Except if I'm sick, I'll sometimes do black tea (just like a super low quality generic tea) with a little honey and lemon juice. But the rest of the time, just plain, unsweetened tea. |
All I'll do is a bit of honey in some green tea when I'm sick.
🎃 Happy Halloween everyone! 🎃
Sorry I haven’t been around much this year. Life during 2020 seems to be extra hectic. |
I'm pretty sure 2020 is trying to see how much mayhem it can pack into one year =_=
