Yeah, I've seen babies who were newborns with super frizzy, curly hair. So I think my mom just thought all babies were born with straight hair because she'd been surrounded by either mixed or white babies her whole life.

I'm pretty sure all babies are born with blue eyes, though... As they aren't used to light and may not have any melanin in their eyes yet.

My great grandfather was half German and has blue eyes, but no one else in my family had blue eyes. My family is mostly a mixture of different cultures and ethnicity, though. Most of my cousins are biracial and they all look different

I do love a good hot cocoa when its cold out. even a nice cup of flavored coffee like a chocolate mocha. when I was younger for a while I had like tea. till I tried some home made tea. it turned me away form ta ever since then.

Kirin Rosenbaum 03-16-2018 01:35 PM

Ava that's neat about your family.

onsenmark 03-16-2018 02:45 PM

I had coffee, and then I drank it.

Vinny XIII 03-16-2018 05:12 PM

@ Ava - I think you’re right, one of my nieces was born with blue eyes, but as she got older they turned brown lol.
That’s like my family too, everyone’s got grandparents from all over the place lol.

@ Star - I’ve never tried home made tea before, homade cocoa I have, but never tea. I do love the flavored coffees though! We’ve got a couple at Dutch Bros that are my favorites! The White Angel, carmelizer, and French toast are my favorites!

@ onsenmark - Nice! And long time no see, how’ve you been? Lol

Kirin Rosenbaum 03-16-2018 10:00 PM

I hate coffee with a passion.

sailor star rainbow 03-16-2018 11:05 PM

I never heard of Dutch Bros before Vinny but if I get a chance. I would try them out sounds like good coffee. but on a other note I don't think I have had home made hot chocolate yet.

No kidding! I’ve actually come up with a couple recipes that make it an actual meal. Like frying the noodles in their own broth and cooking a few veggies with it in the last couple minutes, then while that does it’s thing I cook up some chicken patties, chop them up, and add bbq sauce to them and add them to the noodles!

That sounds delicious. Silver's dad would do like a yakisoba stirfry with ramen. She did always love that.

Wunderkind 03-17-2018 02:52 AM

Hello Kirin. Would you mind if I joined you?

Ava The Vampire 03-17-2018 03:39 AM

I had some Vietnamese iced coffee today and I ACTUALLY LIKED IT?! WHAT?!

Wunderkind 03-17-2018 04:07 AM

Hmm, that sounds interesting. I do love trying new things.

Ava The Vampire 03-17-2018 06:55 AM

It was really tasty, but had a very strong coffee flavor.
It tasted like Folgers.

Dutch Bros are little drive thru coffee kiosks that are only on the west coast. If you ever get a chance to try them that would be awesome! They’ve got hot coffee, iced coffee, blended coffee (like a slushy!), frosts (like milkshakes), all kinds of teas made from black or green tea (midnight tea is my fav!), smoothies, and hot chocolate!
Homemade hot chocolate isn’t bad, kinda bitter though lol.

Ooooh that sounds good too! I’d love to try cooking yakisoba noodles some time lol.

That sounds good! I wonder if I could find any in my town, though I can’t really have any right now, I’d still love to try it some time!

Fun stuff lol. How was the con?

Kirin Rosenbaum 03-17-2018 07:29 PM

I am a tea addict.

hummy 03-18-2018 12:57 AM

I just found out h u m m y d a d gave away my little tea set. It made me very sad. It was an actual China Tea Set you know real China. It was very small and on the shelf and I can't imagine it took up so much room that it had to be giving away purged from the house.
So now I'm looking online for tiny tea sets although he said he gave it away years ago. You never know until you look, right?

My god mother says she'll look at the flea markets and estate sales and things. It's not urgent. It just kind of bummed me. Thanks for offering though I appreciate it. How are you feeling these days?

@Vinny XIII: Silver would love to try cooking with them too. But her and the kitchen aren't always the best combination.
