lots of pretty lightning? I'd love to photograph lightning out in the desert where the land is all flat. there's too much going on here to get good pics of the sky.

I suppose he is feeling neglected or wants foods, yes it's foods

Wyguy only wants you for the food you can provide him. Cats are good for that.

All of our pets as a kid were from the local pound, we've never been one of those people that wants a pure bred anything.

Queen_Andais 02-20-2017 03:51 AM

Just checking, Nephila. Haven't seen you as blue before.

No chicken for me, you can have my share, Hummy.

yeah, I feel ya...Moose is all elbows and points, and wedges them in the most painful places. (they had nicknamed him goober at the pound I named him Moose. cause he's lanky and awkward) I hadn't meant to get him either but he was so sad looking. and i wound up staying all night the day before he was up for adoption so that I'd be first in line to get him. lol

Naisou 02-20-2017 03:56 AM

why does Mark Sheppard play evil/snarky characters in everything?! I <3 him....and his accent [drool] If they were ever to make a movie of Good Omens he should play Crowley there too.

Sounds like us with our first dog, Buddy. She was a puppy, not quite four months old. There were so many people there for her that they held a lottery. Initially some other person got her, however that lady had adopted to many animals in the last 12 month period so the dog was put back up for adoption and they announced anyone still there for her to come down to the office and fill in another lottery slip. We got her the second time. She was the fluffiest little ball of fur. Taught her agility, wasn't very good at following directions, but she liked to jump. [lol]

this is a true story. I went in the locxal pet shoppe to pick up wyguy a new toy
this thirty-five pound puppie was betting beaten up by five little puppies
so I was trying to get the puppies to 'sit' and she SAT and would not move
I watched her for like five minutes and I made a hand gesture for her to come to me
she did and has never left my side. the pet shoppe owner was trying to find a good
home for her for a friend who had lost his job and couldn't afford to feed her and kids
so I said I would take her home with me because I couldn't see her with anyone else.
she is a blue heeler/springer spaniel mix and very loving. she herds the kitties

I think I confused everyone who worked at the poundl( cause since he was a stray not given up, he had to be held for so many days to make sure he wasn't claimed.) I visited him (bringing a diff family member each time) for the 4 days they were open before his time was up. lol, and it was all first come, so nobody else was actually there for him that morning. but everyone though lots of people wanted him (pretty sure they were mostly me...on diff days)

hummy 02-20-2017 04:04 AM

I am starving but not sure if I should eat.
lately I just am not eating enough

Oh wow, so cute. and she sounds so obedient to sit while being bullied. Moose claims partial hearing loss when he doesn't want to pay attention. [stare] he gets distracted by wildlife. lol. My sister LOVEs blue heelers. your pup sounds beautiful.

I can understand you wanting him so much.
I think it's cute how tenacious you were.

LMAO partial hearling loss. I have to keep that idea out of Sashie-belle's head.
blue heelers are so pretty, she should get one.
I want Sashie to have puppies but I am afraid I would keep them all!

Naisou 02-20-2017 04:12 AM

haha, yeah. I would have been crushed if someone else had claimed him first. It was love at first sight.

one of the ladies that worked there got so used to me she taught me to open the pens and would let me get him out myself if they were busy, lol. and when I had to bring him back to get neutered she was like 'I know your not here to give him back already' lol.

both of my other dogs just kinda landed in my lap, didn't have to work for them. the jack russell was going to be put down the next day and the woman brought her to us like 'please take her, I don't want to have to put her to sleep' so we did

hummy 02-20-2017 04:12 AM

hiya, linnie-poo!

she lives in Hawaii now, military wife. so getting a dog is kinda out of the equation for her right now unfortunately. she misses Gypsy (the jack russell) so much. that was her fur baby.
