Hummy you're welcomed to jump in if you'd like. I'm not trying to pressure you if you'd rather not but it could be fun if you have the time.

NightStalker 07-28-2017 04:43 PM

hi all

FireOnix 07-28-2017 05:06 PM

Hi Nightstalker. I think this thread is pretty much dead now.

NightStalker 07-29-2017 06:58 AM

lets fix that

FireOnix 07-29-2017 08:34 PM

:) ok Let's chat some. Is anyone doing anything fun this weekend?

Shadami 07-31-2017 03:38 PM

i was on vacation and sick with the flu. So i had a great time. except when i was feverish? xD how about you? How was your weekend?

FireOnix 08-03-2017 01:38 AM

That's not good. I hope you're all better now Shadami. My weekend was good I'm really looking forward to some cooler weather though :/ there's nothing like going out to get the mail and covered in sweat after three steps. I can't imagine how it must be for people who live anywhere south of new york.

hummy 08-03-2017 02:53 AM

can't wait for winter

NightStalker 08-03-2017 04:19 AM

lol youre a polar bear fire

Inzanebraned 08-03-2017 07:01 AM

I am such an oddball! I prefer summer over winter and don't mind sweating till I can wring my clothes out!
My theory is that sweating purifies my system...whereas cold makes me shiver and ache all over.
I am the only person I know who does not complain about sweating!

kelseydee 08-03-2017 01:03 PM

My favorite seasons in order r spring, summer, fall and winter.

oh my goodness. are you in NY too! :O [glomp] best state. i mean.. what all the states are awesome in their own way.

just don't make me leave 4 seasons NY with its fewer tornadoes, and hurricanes and other extreme weather that has winds that i'm terrified of. xD
oh wait. NY kinda sucks. But i love it anways. xD[illgetu]

FireOnix 08-07-2017 06:01 PM

Lol every state has it's issues but NY is home.

Shadami 08-07-2017 08:49 PM

exactly! <3 hubby and i are talking about washington, or pennsylvania with potential job opportunities though. i don't wanna move t.t

FireOnix 08-08-2017 02:03 AM

That's a tough one. Sometimes there's no choice but to go where the work is. You can always come back for vacations or something.

Shadami 08-08-2017 02:20 PM

yeah . It's just we'd have to get a place to and move our stuff :[ so i've been trying to eliminate how much STUFF we have. that way if we get that job opportunity official there's less crap to put in a van and travel cross country. Cause.. well, I doubt we'll be able to afford buying all new stuff when we got there ^^;; we're already doing a 1 furniture a year thing and our living room is one chair and some bean bags. lol

Dutchess Diehly 08-10-2017 04:28 AM

*sigh* it has been a long day! I helped Mystic get a job then we dyed my hair. I had to come home and clean house so that took three hours. Now I can finally sleep, although I have to wake up early to drive Mystic to work, pick up another coworker so he can buy a vehicle and then finally I have student orientation! I am excited for school. How was everyone else's day?

You can always shop garage sales, flea markets and/or second hand shops until you can afford something better though sometimes you can find nice gems in those places. It is hard to pare down and move. Been there done that a couple of times.

Lots of busy work, that can be draining. School though that's cool. High school, college?

There never seems to be enough hours in my days and distractions are way too easy to get caught up in.

Shadami 08-20-2017 06:50 PM

Yeah I just can't get to the yard sales when they're available. XD that and no vehicle to get the furniture back to my apartment

Mystic 08-20-2017 09:43 PM

Hey, do you mind if I join in the thread? ^^

Washington state is a nice location and usually has all 4 seasons.
I grew up in Oregon then my mom moved me to Colorado when I was a teenager and I have been stuck here since! (I am 56 years old, now!)
The seasons in Colorado have been odd lately...we hardly got any summer at all where I have been living this year, and the leaves are already showing signs of fall!
