I went from North Carolina to South Carolina to Georgia just working my way down the Eastern Sea Coast trying to avoid hurricanes

Shadami 06-13-2017 12:32 AM

i didn't know they did that cause obviously H1Z1 came out first. xD cool fun fact to know :D

Winterwolfgoddess 06-13-2017 12:32 AM

Georgia is typically pretty safe. Love the Barrier Islands, pretty to visit and offer a natural protection from hurricanes. It is a shame what happened to Hilton Head though. :(

Shadami: Not many people realize it. The original mod was Arma 2 (DayZ?) Battle Royale. Then came Arma 3 Battle Royale. Then Sony bought the usage of the formula for H1Z1. Battlegrounds has actually been in the works for 4-5 years and only recently hit its own standalone.

Shadami 06-13-2017 12:36 AM

i don't tend to watch new releases and information like that. So it's always a big surprise to me when someone tells me about something like that. :D thanks!

Winterwolfgoddess 06-13-2017 12:40 AM

Haha! I only know so much because of the twitch communities I have been part of for years. Halifax, Silentsentry, SmaK, Sacriel, Anthony_Kongphan, etc this is all their main foray of games.

Shadami 06-13-2017 12:42 AM

I don't know any of those streamers. xD lol. I'm in alot of smaller communities there where i enjoy talking to the viewers and streamers and not the ones that have spammy chats with to many emotes everywhere. Not saying anything against yours specifically cause i don't know them. perhaps i'll have to take a look sometime.

Winterwolfgoddess 06-13-2017 12:49 AM

Halifax and Smak(for now...his might suddenly grow fast because he just got sponsored by TSM o___o) are the smallest of the ones listed. Sentry and Hali are the only ones I have followed and/or subscribed to since the beginning though because they are by far the most interactive and actually share many of the same community members. And Hali is the most family friendly of all. quite amusing.

St. Simons Island is a really pretty location
I lived in St Marys
I was obsessed with the Weather Channel living on the East Coast down there

Winterwolfgoddess 06-13-2017 02:56 AM

Jekyll Island also isn't bad. I used to go down to Brunswick every year with family friends for the Blessing of the Fleet. Oh old times.

I will admit I was also somewhat obsessed. I call it secondhand obsession though...My mother was the obsessed one! And still is. When I call here she is talking about the weather down south and here. xD

hummy 06-13-2017 03:39 AM

Me too I have a thing for the blessing of the fleet my parents have a small 32-footer or had my dad got rid of it my mom called it the hole in the water we just tossed money into and Jekyll Island Brunswick area is really sweet I can't remember the name of the mall but they had the carousel inside I always loved that

Winterwolfgoddess 06-14-2017 01:08 AM

Haha! I never remember the names of malls unless it is the ones where I directly live. I am actually from Augusta so it was not a bad drive down when I lived there. I just loved the area in general. I never cared for Savannah and finally talked my friends in my last few years living there to make the extra hours drive to either Hilton Head or the Brunswick/Jekyll Island area. That and I think we were cursed to always get into fights in Savannah for whatever reason.

hummy 06-14-2017 01:29 AM

Funny Savanna is pretty but not my cup of tea I do love Brunswick though I'm glad you got them to come down Hilton head's really pretty too I wonder how it's bounced back out there

Winterwolfgoddess 06-14-2017 01:33 AM

Hilton Head is doing lovely. Still repairing, but...money can fix quite a few things fairly quickly. I am planning a vacation soon before my coworkers think I have gone off the deep end and it is in my top 5 places. I refuse to for this next vacation to have any 'work' involved. I need stress relief. xD

hummy 06-14-2017 01:55 AM

Very true money does fix things quickly
I hope you have a great vacation

Elirona 06-14-2017 06:59 PM

Welcome back to Mene, Winter! [cheer] I still use a couple usernames from when I was a kid, including Elirona. [lol] If you'd be interested in changing your name, I'm sure one of our AAs would help you update. [yes]
Congrats on finishing up college and getting a cool job! I'm hoping to be done soon, myself, but who knows when that's gonna be. [sweat]
LoL isn't one of my favorite games in the world, to be honest. I've never touched PUBG, but that seems super fun from the little bit of footage I've seen.
I hope you'll stick around with us to hang out! We're all still super friendly. If you've got any questions, comments, or concerns, feel free to shoot myself or any of the other staff members a PM. [yes]

Winterwolfgoddess 06-15-2017 01:27 AM

Haha, for Menewsha I could not bare to part with this name for now. Maybe it is just me being wishful and hoping the old crew decides to come back like me. It makes it MUCH easier to recognize me. I think maybe Dystopia (is that Anna's username on here...i think it is...pretty sure.) is the only one who has seen my username ever be Avaleicia.

And that is good to here. I miss the community. :)

The Wandering Poet 06-15-2017 03:04 AM

Winter - That's why I have my old username in my signature. Helps people figure out who I was. Very few remember that name now...

Shadami 06-15-2017 10:08 PM

Isn't Dystopia still around? or is that because i've been poking around in the archived events forum...

Roachi 06-15-2017 11:24 PM

Yeah she pops on now and again.
She use to be more active, but I've seen less n less of her.

Winterwolfgoddess 06-16-2017 12:14 AM

Shadami: she is :) and I am right. Lol Anna is on league casually.

Shadami 06-16-2017 12:54 AM

yeah lots of people love league. xD i'm not a fan personally though.

*Hime* 06-25-2017 06:17 PM

Part of it coz it's free. But there are like huge world championships in league, even broadcasted in some parts of this world apparently.

hummy 06-26-2017 05:41 PM

I love your signature art, *HIME*ie

Shadami 06-26-2017 11:01 PM

Thanks Hummy; I forgot I got this of art aaaages ago. Pleasant surprise.

Shadami: no, you can earn more champs by playing and every few days there are free champs available. Only for the skins you have to pay in dollars but other then appearance they have no value. (and you also can earn those during event or by gaining chests if you play well). It's a great community (though of course, those flamers can be a pain in the butt but I just play for fun)
