Hm. I've heard certain breeds are prone to a lot of health problems, particularly breeds that have been bred to enhance a certain feature, like extra long ears or small, flat faces. As long as you provide good quality, natural food and lots of hay, they are great pets who live for many, many years. There are many factors that decrease their lifespan, but nearly all of them can be significantly decreased with proper care and nutrition (as well as neutering)

The striped stuff is adorable.

I understood they get scared very easily and can get a stroke. Also anesthesia can kill them if they got too stressed.
