i never liked that game much. Another site I'm on has a holiday game that is similar in some regards and I often neglect to play it when i should.

I almost never play the games since it's a thing I only used to do when I was hurting for gold. Now that's never.

I LOVE Attack of the Fangirls! I actually beat the high score almost immediately when I came back to Mene in August. [lol] There's actually a max score for the game, so realistically I'm ranked #2 of all-time just cuz I beat it way faster than most people. [ninja] I am proud of that fact!

I always wanted to like other Mene games as much as I love that game, but honestly the mechanics of the other games just aren't as captivating to me. I love tower defense games. So aside from Attack of the Fan Girls, I only play Snake. [:P]

Yeah, it's probably good they don't rank you based on the time it takes. [lol] I think that's a silly way to measure someone's skill at a game anyhow.

I wish we got more games. D: I feel like Mene would get a massive influx of members if we became a sort of game arcade like Kongregate.com... I'm sure there are sites bigger than Kongregate, but I spent a load of time there as a teen so it jumps to mind as a site with tons of games for tons of different types of people. [ninja]

Something like that could net Mene some serious players!

But like... can't we just... somehow strike an agreement with game developers? D; I'm sure there'll be plenty of Flash-based game developers who'd jump at the chance to have their game listed for free on Mene... -shrug-

I know some web development, actually. That's the area I work in. But Flash is tricky and messy.

And, luckily enough, Flash is being phased out, which is good because it's not supported on mobile browsers and devices. But that might be bad for Mene... those games might get funky and clunky pretty quickly...

But Flash is super costly, so if there's something easier than that which will be the new game design language for forums like ours, then maybe it's for the best. D:

I agree with Facade in that if menewsha wants to get more users then it needs to have a defining feature, that could be the range of games, exciting and regular item releases, art team, far more regular events (at least every month) or something else that brings people back.

I kinda wish there were more pixellists. I'm sure there are pixellists that wouldn't mind working for free for mene to improve their skills and gain recognition.

Like I remember we used to get art featuring our new CI's and I loved those. Why don't we have them again? I know it takes time to make art (I'm an artist so I know) but it's time and tireless effort that creates a steady community and an influx of people to join and stay. We could even do comics featuring mene NPC's released on a fortnightly basis which could feature contests that would get people joining in kind of like we get event contests. And we could have gold prizes or item prizes. There are so many old CI's you can't get a hold of anymore, please consider them as prizes. If one can't acquire items they want then what is their reason to stay?

I just feel like mene is extremely slow moving in between events and I wish more was done. I feel like I'd be willing to help this much loved community in any way I can.
