As much as I want it to keep snowing,
I think for our road trip it would be better to have clear skies and clear roads. :D I'm really looking forward to leaving. The moving company is coming the same day, so we'll be really busy. x.x |
The snow flurries can like Follow You Usher you out so you don't have to drive in the but you can still look back and see them. You'll be surprised how quickly the movers will have you packed up and out of there! |
Reminds me of the plane I took a few years back where a huge storm hit the back of our plane. The pilot came on the com and was just like "So... we're going to be early..." [lol]
|
Yay for being early instead of...NOT at all [shock] |
I don't see the bad in that! Lol!
I would much rather get off the plane sooner during a storm that be late, or even as hummy said, not arriving at all! [shock] |
I would be all step on it Captain step on it! |
Yeah, the storm hit right after we took off so we got a major tail wind. I think we arrived an hour early.
|
much better than a head wind ;p |
True, especially if you have a connecting flight.
|
oh yeah, enough stress flying no need to add anymore |
So true, especially depending on who is sitting next to you.
|
I am a panic-flyer |
Do you have fear of heights or just the fear of gravity on a metal object?
|
I know this sounds sooo Bourgeoisie, but I can only fly first class because otherwise I am too uncomfortable to enjoy my flight and I panic if I don't have a bigger seat, free in-flight movie and the comfort of the flight attendants.
I don't even eat the meal in first class. (They never have vegetarian meals anyway!) And I am very willing to pay extra to be comfortable. On occasion, there's been instances where even first class is uncomfortable. I can recall a time where a man had brought his like two year old baby and he sat right next to me, the baby didn't have a chair, so the baby was walking around by his feet, screaming, crying... Seriously... What kind of person buys a first class seat and DOESN'T EVEN BRING A GODDAMN CARSEAT FOR THE BABY?! I was shocked that the flight attendants even put up with it, the baby was ruining the trip for everyone in first class. What kind of parent buys a first class ticket with a baby when you can't even enjoy it?! Ugh. /endrant Anyway, I HAVE to fly first class, otherwise my anxiety gets so bad that I have panic attacks. First class isn't even the greatest, but it's a least a little more comfortable than flying in coach. My parents are so awesome, once they paid for a first class ticket for me because they knew I had panic attacks when flying, so they paid for my first class ticket and they sat in coach. The flight attendants are so much nicer to people in first class, too. |
I've never even seen first class. I can't afford that. My favorite spot is over the wing so I know it's still working.
|
My parents and I do it the cheap way, when you get to the terminal, they will usually ask you if you want to upgrade to first class. It's only an extra $50-$100 to upgrade your ticket and then you get first class for less than what is usually paid. :D
Lately, I've been trying to get them to serve me vegetarian food by buying my ticket the right way and they STILL don't accommodate. >:T I don't even like to look out the window when I fly. When I fly, I have to convince myself that I am on a giant bus because otherwise I freak out. |
Quote:
so you know the wing is still working? You mean so you know it's still there, right? |
Well it is kinda like a giant bus Ava... having been on a Greyhound they're both cramped. But Greyhounds have less screaming children!
Hummy - Seen the photos recently? Of planes having parts of the wing or engine ripped off? That's why. I want to make sure it's still capable of flying. |
I am not a fan of Greyhound bus because of the toilet situation. No I really haven't seen that. |
I pretty much just held it until I got to the station for my next bus.
My issue was I was really hungry the whole trip and I had no money XD |
bring snacks! |
Hope work starts soon for you the wandering poet |
March 9th is what it sounds like
|
I haven't ridden a Greyhound bus since I was a little kid.
I loved it...and sometimes the buses had toilets! I loved looking out the window from that height...much higher than the car or pickup truck. And being a little kid, the distance to the ground seemed even greater than it was. We only travelled to the next town...about 30 miles...then back again. |
March nineth is close, yay! Short greyhound bus trips are okay |
