I just realized we haven't one for books. Yes I am a book nerd dun judge [rofl]
A is for Animal Farm by George Orwell |
No judgement here! Great thinking!
B is for Bitterblue by Kristin Cashore |
C is for Chalice by Robin McKinley

Most of mine will likely be Stephen King related, fair warning [XD]

I just happen to collect them, is all [lol] But lookie here, it's not King this time because -
F is for Fahrenheit 451, by Ray Bradbury. A classic "banned" book. |
Omg, you didn't do Steven King, and I will [rofl]
G is for The Gunslinger by Steven King |
Oooh, I deeply enjoyed The Dark Tower series.
H is for House of Many Ways by Diana Wynne Jones |
The Dark Tower series is such an unusual tale, and a interesting style of writing. Really great story telling.
I is for Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice |
It really is! Funny anecdota - I actually started reading book 3 or so in the series. [lol] My uncle is a very heavy fantasy reader, and he'd loaned it to me. When I let him know that it was book 3 in the series, it turned out that he'd never even noticed and assumed it was a stand-alone and he just wasn't getting certain parts of it.
J is for Juniper by Monica Furlong. |
...*hides in a corner* I have yet to read The Dark Tower all the way through! It's so intimidating, and I'm afraid to start it because I just know it'll break my heart in the end. I own them all, though! I'm a horrible fan [gonk]
K is for King Lear by William Shakespeare. |

King Lear! Another great choice >.> L is for Lord Foul's Bane by Stephen R. Donaldson |
M is for
@Cora: If I remember correctly - mind, this was many years ago - it stood on its' own pretty well, despite how friggin' confused I was. [lol] There were so many plotholes, tho, because of it. @PWEEP: Awww, don't worry - you'll get around to it sometime. It is pretty intimidating and, as you said, even more so since you know it's probably (most likely) going to bring you all the emotional pain. It is worth said emotional damage, tho. |
I have most of the books that tie into DT, as well. Ok, he does a lot of crossover stuff, I know. That's why I'm afraid to start the journey, 'cause I know I'll have to read all of them, too! [gonk]
N is for Night Shift - King, of course. Does it count if it's a collection of short stories? And I assume we can use a short story from the collection for a letter, as well? [lol] |
O is for On a Pale Horse by Piers Anthony
|
Short stories absolutely count! [heart]
P is for Persuasion by Jane Austen (my absolute favourite~) |

Geezus, its X
X is for Xanth by Piers Anthony (Ok so its a series rather then a specific book in the series. I cheated a little [:P] |
It fully counts! The only thing I could come up with was like... the chinese titles of certain comic series. [lol]
