I'm a big apathy enthusiast, personally. :ninja: Although I hide a lot of my apathy with dark humor and wit, or so I'd like to think (don't crush my delusional outlook! :illgetu: ). I think people are overall just too desperate to react to anything with genuine enthusiasm. Now that is obviously draining. I guess apathy is more leeching than anything, but forced enthusiasm is the epitome of actual, conscious draining.
/randomtidbit AAH! Vex, you look awesome! Especially loving the jacket/purplish top combo. :D Your friend looks oddly like my friend Kate... Especially since my friend Kate just recently dyed her hair a reddish color... :ninja: |
I just wanted to share this, because it's awesome. It's of a friend of mine. He made it. lol

Kah, thats not the reason! My brain was borked WELL before then lol!
Halferty, that corset looks good, and certainly suits the dress! Sugiza, nice hair man! Wish mine was that straight! Vex, WOAH! Did your friend fart and not tell you or something? As for the 'apathy' chat topic, i dont consider myself to be apathetic, I just dont form propper emotional connections to things for the most part, people included. Ive heard that described as a form of sociopathy, though i believe thats called something different now? I wouldnt say i care about much at all, but i interact and feel very basic level emotions mostly to stimuli around me. Angry and Happy are the two main ones, very, VERY rarely, some sad. I think theres others out there, but i dont know what they are though? Ive come to the conclusion that i prefer to live this way, in this state, beause when i try to make myself feel emotional things, i end up acting very stupidly for reasons that i dont have the ability to understand, provided i even know what the reasons for my actions are. Im sure they work for others, but they just mess with me. I distinguish a difference between this and apathy, that being, that i gather apathy involves a lack of motivation/determination to do/achieve. I can make myself do what ever i need to do, i just see it as a task like anything else, whether its going to a party or going to work or sitting at home here. |
@Facade: Why thank you, it's actually a dress but it's all good. Probably not the best picture of that night, but I was not in a fit state to be photographed in the after party xD
See, it's a dress xD Hopefully sometime this week I'll get the professional pictures back that we had done, or the proofs anyway. If I do I'll post them up. I'm in about a million xD @Assassin: I wouldn't be surprised knowing her  http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._3276027_n.jpg ^It's the birthday girl...with her VERY tidy room in the background xD |
*throws up at the site of Vex's room* :gonk:
The horror! THE HORROR! Its unnatural to have that much pink in one place. :talk2hand: |
PINK HATER.
:illgetu: |
D: My room just wants to be loved!
|
Hey, there's having a decent amount of pink in a room (my curtains and closet are), and there's having an indecent amount of pink (the only non-pink item I see in your room is that empty bottle over the pink pillow, and the plushie beside the pink pillow). Seriously, isn't there another colour in the world?
|
Hahaha, that is a hideously pink room xD and what HAVE you done to your chest of drawers
|
*shudders* Its painful to look at.
|
*screams and gouges at eyeballs* OH GODS IVE GONE BLIND!
SO. MUCH. PINK! *runs around in circles still gouging at eyeballs* LMAO Vex, seriously, i didnt think rooms like that existed. +20 Rarity Points for having the unbelievable! :P Though, the first thing that drew my eye was the chest of drawers, and like Jelly mentioned... the HECK did you do to them? Try to fill them with children or something? *ponders* ... that could actually be fun now i think about it! :P And Jelly, i talked to one of the hairdresser girls last night, she said my purple will become a funny brown colour as the purple fades, NOT pink! so HA! *pokes tongue out at* |
But -50 points for how horrific it is. *turns the other way* Just can't look at it.
|
She was just saying that to fool you, Assassin :talk2hand: it will turn pink. PINK I tell you!
|
lol Loving the quote in your siggy, Jelly.
|
She was not Jelly... ... i hope? :P
|
Nu uh, you're secretly hoping that it will!
Yeah Su, when I saw it I had to add it xD |
My friend fell on them and...demolished them... ¬.¬
My room was created to blind people, did I not mention? xD Though when we move I've decided on light blue and silver  |
Light blue and silver is MUCH better.
I dont see how a person falling on them could cause that. O_o;; Must have been an interesting thing to witness. lol @ Jelly - I always love funny little quotes like that. |
I'm a little bit.. terrified of doing this, but I want to anyways, just to put a face to my nekkid avatar. You all seem nice enough. :P

Very nice, Jovial. I'm digging the earrings, the hair, the glasses, the plaid...the everything. You look superb, don't be so shy, heh. Wish I had hair that I could style, but it's long and thick so the absolute most I can do to it is let it out, put it in a ponytail, or put it in a ponytail with bangs. It's annoying as hell. But anyways, I digress -- lookin' good, Jovial.
|
Hehe, thank you. My hair can be pretty unruly. It's thick, wavy Italian hair, so it has to be either really short or really long in order for it to not be high maintenance. I'm pretty happy with the short, I've had it since last summer. It hasn't varied too much, but it's due for a cut. My swoop is getting a bit of a wave right in the middle of it, which doesn't look so great. I'm having to straighten it every day, and that's very difficult in the time I have to get ready in the morning. When I leave it's typically still wet, so I have to blowdry it and then straighten it if I don't want to look like the ocean lives on my head.
|
Us? Nice? :ninja: Suuure. Let's go with that.
|
I have long, thick hair, too, and I just twist it to the side so that it looks decent once it dries. But its really wavy either way. Twisting it makes it less likely to get a ton of tangles, because it totally will otherwise. Oh, or i'll twist it around itself and put it up in a bun.
I posted pictures of it in here a few pages back. Here they are. But I reckon that its a bit different for you, since you're a guy. Most guys tend to be better going with short, or medium length hair, because they can do more with it, then. Or not really have to do anything with it, and it still looks good, usuaully. @ Jovial - Ooh. I think your hair is very cute short, at least. It looks very feathery in that picture. Your style is just like a friend of mines. She wears her hair like that, too, but she currently has hers dyed a light brown. Her hair is naturally a light brown, but its not grown out to her full natural color yet. But she also has glasses like those, and wears white tanks with plaid all the time, too. xP;; She just doesn't have any facial piercings. |
For some reason that shirt is my photo shirt. I always end up taking pictures on days I wear it! It's certainly not intentional, but my friends always comment on it. :P
|
lol I know what you mean. Maybe because its something you know photographs well, so you're more prone to take pictures the days you're wearing it?
