Another prom picture!

Suona 06-23-2011 12:36 AM

Holy cow. That guy's a giant. Haha. And what is he drinking?

@ Morgan - Ooh. I hadn't noticed it was shaved on one side.

@ Feedgood - Very lovely. Is that really your tattoo? If so, you chose a very neat one to get. I bet it was really espensive, considering the size. @[email protected];;

McNugget 06-23-2011 01:00 AM

I agree with Suona. That guy is TALL

Lately, my family has been telling me I look thinner and I should eat more. But I disagree.
I think I'm just fine. Who else agrees?

Kah Hilzin-Ec 06-23-2011 01:02 AM

Gimme your weight in pounds and I shall reach a verdict :talk2hand:

McNugget 06-23-2011 01:07 AM

lol What? :XD
I'm about 110 lbs right now..

Kah Hilzin-Ec 06-23-2011 01:21 AM

Oh my, how I wish I had that weight (... sigh), gaining weight would be healthier and not the other way round  I believe that's kinda too light for a boy, you know, since they don't have boobs and produce more testosterone, they're more muscle-dense :XD In my opinion you look okay, but don't weight enough.

But, what do I know? Check out some sites about BMI and that kinda stuff (like the chart in this one), they'll surely be more helpful :D

McNugget 06-23-2011 01:32 AM

Well, honestly, I don't know how I lost the weight in the first place, but to me, I seem quite average, and always have, so I wasn't caring about it.
But family kept antagonizing me about looking skinnier and ridiculing me about not eating enough, when obviously, I am.
According to that site, and a BMI calculator,I am underweight  My BMI appears to be 17.2 and anything lower than 18.5 is underweight.. But I don't think I look that skinny T_T

Thanks for telling me I looked okay Kah
Also: I haven't seen you in a while, so... :glomp:

Kah Hilzin-Ec 06-23-2011 01:49 AM

Awww no problem Usuke  I guess eating the right things and working out a bit everyday should help getting more muscle mass onto your handsome self, that way you'll look good -and- be healthier ;) And not just do like me... when I walk great distances it's to buy cake... :XD In fact yesterday I bought a small cake for a friend's birthday, but for that I had to walk uphill until the very top where the Communitary Bonds' office where the cake was being sold at stands, a 5 minute walk from my class, but a killer walk nonetheless! And going downhill isn't much of a relief, what with me having my backpack and my purse adding to the weight :XD Next time I'll buy water...

McNugget 06-23-2011 02:09 AM

 I don't care if I get more muscle mass, fat mass, or neither. All I know, is I think I eat pretty healthy... Well, I don't eat too much junk food and sweets any-ways.Though, I guess since I've been working at my job with more overtime, and the rest of my time goes to school and school work, I really haven't been having the time to eat as much as I should, and even I admit I have been having some hunger pains every now and then.
I'm just glad I have some time off of both school and work this week. Right now, as I type, I'm eating a taco.
And thanks for telling me I'm handsome

Damnn.. You had to walk all that way just for cake for a friend? :XD Why not drive instead?
And yes, bringing water would be a wise decision for the next time you do that

Kah Hilzin-Ec 06-23-2011 02:28 AM

Hahahaha if I could have driven instead of walked, belieeeeve me I wouldn't walk anywhere anymore! I have to wait until December or maybe more until I can join driving lessons (they're obligatory here, cannot just take the car and go xP) but till then I'll have to make do with walking everywhere, gahh!

McNugget 06-23-2011 02:34 AM

Aww.. I wish I could just drive you places myself.

Dillo 06-23-2011 02:39 AM

hahah ya hes 6'7! and I think he is drinking 151 rum.

McNugget 06-23-2011 02:49 AM

 He's a giant
And lol @ 151 rum

Draciolus 06-23-2011 06:04 AM

Yeah...the doctors(when I decide to go visit them, that is) always say Im underweight. Im only 160-ish lbs, last time I checked(might check tomorrow). And being 6'4" is mostly why they say that. xD

And he might be tall, but a smart person knows where their knee falls in relation to theirs, and how to use it to bring them down to eye level. :P

m0rgzilla 06-23-2011 03:26 PM

@Suona
M'hm, heh. You sounded displeased at that, or something. > w<

Wow. Thats very tall! And he's still in high school?! Or probably just graduating. Thts insane. Poor guy.

I have a friend thats 6'5"-6'6" and he's said that it can be uncomfortable being that tall at a young age because it makes you stand out a bit awkwardly. And he looks like a viking! He's got a big build and is such a red-head. Cracks me up. He just needs one of those little horned viking helmets.

Mhmm. I think that its hard to really decide on things like that. I mean, my dad is 6'3" and a really big guy, but he seems to be a pretty decent weight when you look at him, but according to his BMI, he's obese. He is probably a bit overweight, but most definently wouldn't be considered obese. His stomach isn't even very big anymore, he just has a lot of muscle mass.

And for some people, they're very tall, but just have very little muscle, so then they end up being underweight. But some people's builds wont allow for them to really gain much muscle, like my brother. He can workout like crazy and drink protein shakes and what not, but for the life of him is unable to bulk up. And thats just how some peoples builds are. In that case, I think that BMI's can tend to be off in some situations. Either because people honestly can't get bigger, or because people honestly can't be smaller. lol

Haha. I just hadn't realized it was. Shaved heads usually aren't to my taste so much.

Exactly, zilla. ^^
We all need to have our own preferences anyway, so that we can be unique. :)

Please don't listen to BMI. Seriously, there's so many different factors that can play into your weight, you really shouldn't take those numbers too seriously. If you think you look okay, then you look okay. Well, unless you have a disorder and believe you look fatter or skinnier than you do, but from that picture you posted you look fine, so I don't believe you do. Isn't it just typical parents worrying over nothing?

Kah Hilzin-Ec 06-27-2011 07:41 PM

While it doesn't mean there's something wrong with him, he shouldn't just not pay attention. I mean, weight does not wane for no reason at all, and to look okay while weighting little could mean his system is becoming weaker as well owo I knew of this girl who weighted 100 pounds, and yes, she was skinny but not where you could see her bones. And yet, in the three years I knew her she broke her nose twice, her feet once, and struggled against her gastritis. And according to the classmates, she was better than years before where she, even though ate pretty much what everyone else did (and sometimes more), would end up in the hospital for anemia.

Of course, I'm not saying he's not healthy xD I just mean he should be able to pin what is going on with his body and maybe a bit of exercise to tonify would help him increase his muscle density. He's a boy, and for a boy to look okay while weighting little means he isn't as muscle dense as suitable

While we're on the health topic, I think I'm going iron-deficient yet again >:| Been just 4 weeks since I finished my iron pills, and I'm already chewing ice again...T.T

Pkero 06-27-2011 07:43 PM

I should get this thing to stay on my face, really.

I'm not taking them too seriously, but even my family doctor has told me I should weigh more. At the moment, I am on a high protein diet, and have been going to the gym to gain some muscle.
As Kah has said, I am a bit lacking in muscle density.
And Kah, maybe you shouldn't be chewing the ice...
PKero, nice mask. :XD
