I think it's definitely a big influence. And they're very popular in the Asian countries. But then, so is eyelid glue which baffles me. I don't understand these beautiful Asian girls trying to look more Western and messing with their gorgeous almond eyes. *sigh*

I guess! I just like people to look like who they are. Differences make us fun and interesting.

Anime is most definitely partially to blame for those circle lenses. The strong Lolita culture in Japan and other Asian countries is also to blame. The girls like to look like cute, innocent, dolls.

The eyelid gluing doesn't bother me as much as the leg lengthening surgeries. I guess when you hear about this kind of stuff you can't say that media isn't a powerful thing. Why else would you purposefully have someone break both of your legs and slowly stretch them apart so you could be a couple of cm taller?

I've known plenty of people who wear cosmetic lenses and never once had an issue. They're not meant to be worn all the time, so perhaps some people are just wearing them too often. I'm almost positive they come with an advisory statement warning only to wear them on occasion.

We talking about circle lenses? D: I never liked them but.. I do like colored lenses even though I cant stick them in to save my life lol so... ._. I just have plain brown eyes 365 days a year for 22 years

I've never worn contacts before. The thought of them makes me cringe.
I've never been too good at dealing with my eyes. I have rather obnoxious allergies, too, so I rub my eyes pretty frequently. I imagine that wouldn't be too good with contacts in. That's another reason it's a good thing I don't wear make-up. lol I hate when I ever actually do have it on and forget and rub my eyes. It's so hard to remember sometimes.

I've always wanted to have green eyes, ever since I was little. So, I feel pretty when I wear the lenses. v .v
Although, sometimes my eyes will turn to this rich brown color and I can't help but actually like the color of eyes, even for a few minutes. [lol]

Sooo, I am visiting my sister and her husband for a few days. And I had to leave my puppies at home because it just didn't make any sense to bring them and my sister has a piece of her fence that fell down in the winds they've been having. But I miss my Maddie a whole bunch (Maddie is closer to me than Fizz...Fizz prefers my mom).

I personally think that the shape of the eye is what makes your eyes beautiful, not the color. I have blue eyes, but they're kinda boring; I personally think that large big eyes are the prettiest. (: I wish I had big eyes v.v
