Sweet! Have you dyed your hair any other colors?
I've only dyed mine purple and blue so far. [eager]
I really miss the blue, haha. I'll probably go back to it.

I did the tips blue and green back when I just got out of high school. And then dabbled in reds (but not vibrant reds), but that's about it. This is really the first time it's been so vibrant of a color and covered so much. [yes]

That blue looks awesome! One day I'll probably try blue too. [eager] Probably have to make sure I bleach my hair more to white though. The purple dye was pretty forgiving this time in regards to some of the spots not being that white.

Maxipuff 04-10-2014 11:24 AM

Neato!

Hehe, I don't know if I want to bleach my hair that much.
The colors are still coming out bright enough,
so I don't wanna risk damaging it over nothing. >_<
I think white blonde hair is really cool looking though!
(But probably not with my skin tone, haha.)
My bleached hair's like... a really annoying brownish orangey blonde color.
I go crazy when it fades too much. [lol]

Ikuto Akihiko Hasegawa 04-10-2014 01:39 PM

Yeah I probably won't bleach any time soon after this. [lol] Although I really would like to try just solid white. If I could even get that far.
Oh is that your natural color? Mine is like a dark dark dark dark brown. Pretty much black. [XD]

Maxipuff 04-10-2014 03:32 PM

Hehe no, I said my bleached hair is that color. XD
If you can't tell from photos, I'm Asian so my natural color is just black.

steelmagghia 04-10-2014 03:54 PM

*sigh* You guys pull off those crazy colors so well. I can pretty much pull off blonde or red and that it.

Lexadis 04-10-2014 04:28 PM

Colorful hair! What I have is black, all year round [boogie] [lol]
But someday want to apply henna on my hair, since it might give you a beautiful brown colour =D
Blue is pretty!

Ikuto Akihiko Hasegawa 04-10-2014 06:50 PM

@Maxi: Oh! [lol] I completely missed that part; excuse my density.
I'm also Asian.
[ninja]

@Steel: Is blonde your natural color? [:O]

@Lexa: Oooh yeah, that should, definitely! I've always wanted to get one of those intricate henna designs, but never have. P:

steelmagghia 04-10-2014 06:54 PM

Yep. I started as a platinum blonde as a baby, now it's more like an ash blonde.

Maxipuff 04-10-2014 07:20 PM

I didn't know about henna hair coloring. [wha] What's it about?
Pros/cons?

@Ikuto-- *asian high five* What kind of asian? [lol]

steelmagghia 04-10-2014 07:30 PM

Henna is really nice and easy on hair, but it's not quite as predictable. And you have to watch your supplier. But it doesn't fade nearly as fast as other reddish dyes.

Ikuto Akihiko Hasegawa 04-10-2014 07:42 PM

@Steel: Oooh. Baby hair always seems to darken as they get older. I wonder why that is. [:O]

@Maxi: Half Filipino. [lol]
What about yourself? [:D]

Maxipuff 04-10-2014 07:44 PM

Whoa! I'm full filipino! [lol] What's your other half?

It's particularly bad with blondes. Either we darken a ton or we go grey early. Only the lucky few can stay blonde.

Ikuto Akihiko Hasegawa 04-10-2014 07:48 PM

Oh snap! [:O]!!
Just... white. [rofl] I only know some of it is Scottish so that's all I can say about that part. Wish I knew more, but ahh well~ [lol]
100% 'Merkan though. [cool] (American. [lol])

Funny world, two Filipinos with purple hair meeting on a humble avatar site. [lol]

@Steel: Ooh really? I didn't know they went grey pretty early. I started getting grey hair when I was.... 16 or so? Sometime in high school. As strands though, not full-on from every root. Don't know what started it, but it's stayed with me ever since. I've gotten more as the time goes on, but not so much it completely covers my head.
I think you guys still have it easier in terms of coloring hair though! [lol]

Maxipuff 04-10-2014 07:51 PM

Yeah, hahaha! [lol]
I know my parents and grandparents are all filipino, but I don't know any further back than that.
But I guess that isn't important.

I moved to america when I was 3 and my parents got divorced soon after,
so I pretty much lived a full american lifestyle. [lol] I forgot how to speak Tagalog
fluently even though it was my first language. But one thing I remember is the food...
Ohhhh the food. I miss it. [drool]

Yep, the ones that stay light or reddish blonde tend to go grey early. But I darkened, so I should be good there.
But you're totally right. It's WAAAY easier to dye my hair. No bleaching required, even as dark as my hair has gotten. [lol]

That's pretty common. My ex taught me a couple of Tagalog phrases, but he doesn't remember much either.

Maxipuff 04-10-2014 08:04 PM

Awww. It's kind of sad, I wish I was bilingual!
My husband can speak spanish and english and it seems so useful.

steelmagghia 04-10-2014 08:09 PM

I'll bet you could relearn tagalog fairly easily. It's always easier to relearn something than it is to learn it the first time.

Maxipuff 04-10-2014 08:16 PM

I thought so too, but I've tried a few times and it didn't work out.
I think the main thing is I don't have anyone I know in person that speaks it.
It's much easier to learn languages when you can actually use them. ><

steelmagghia 04-10-2014 08:17 PM

Yeah, without regular practice, it's SUPER hard.
