I have to take birth control and use salicylic acid wash every night to keep my skin in decent condition. But I do still get breakouts. Especially if I've worn any makeup recently.
And I'm exhausted too, Foxy. *hugs* |
I get white heads frequently around my nose. I also take birth control pills to help control my acne, when I remember. >.>;; Pizza causes major breakouts but I love it. D"x
|
*hugs* I might sleep soon
|
Lol, Kitty. I take my birth control religiously. But I also take it with my antidepressant, so I kind of have to. Plus I turn into a heinous she-beast without it.
Probably should, Foxy. Do you work again tomorrow? |
9am to 5 pm :/ then weekend off
|
I take iron supplements, b12 vitamins and my birth control pills when I remember. I have my phone's alarm set to go off at 10pm as a reminder because I get so wrapped up in my activities I don't usually watch the clock. Even then I get distracted and forget.
|
Yeah, I can see how you could forget those.
See, my antidepressant gives me what's called the "Paxil Zaps" if it's been too long since I've taken it. It's awful when you're coming off of them, but it's a great reminder to take them. Luckily, I probably won't be coming off of them any time soon. I'll be on antidepressants for the rest of my life and the only reason to change types is if the Paxil stops working as well. |
I was actually prescribed anti depressants because I went through a traumatic assault. But I decided to stop taking them because of the side effects.
|
I'm sorry you experienced that. If you can deal with life without them, though, more power to ya.
I cannot. I don't function without them. Like at all. |
I can get pretty emotional like any girl, but I consider that normal. Not to say I don't have issues. But I don't think medication is the answer.
|
My general opinion is that if the depression stems from a specific event, therapy is probably the best thing for that. Because let's face it, antidepressants won't make that event go away, so it needs to be dealt with. For me, there isn't really a single event or anything particularly you can blame it on, other than genetics and bad brain chemistry. But there is a LOOONG history of depression in my family, so it was not unexpected. I prefer to do both therapy and meds, but I can't afford both right now, and if I have to choose, the meds help me more.

I have free medical coverage under ontario drug benefit, but it takes time for me to open to people. I'm very shy at first with strangers.
|
Uuugh. I wish I had insurance. Stupid US insurance. *pout*
And you know, most therapists do understand being shy with strangers. They give you time to get comfortable. |
I did try therapy but I don't think it made a difference.
|
That is a shame.
|
I think that people thought I was needed it, rather than me asking for it. That's why.
|
That does make a difference. *hugs* I'm heading to bed now, though. Goodnight!
|
*hugs* Nighty night. :)

After my shower when my hair has dried.
It's so poofy and big. Actually this photo doesn't show just how messy it really is. https://scontent-b-iad.xx.fbcdn.net/...70021614_n.jpg And me, today. http://i.imgur.com/saoHFhI.jpg |
Does your hair have a blue tint? That's soo cool! And you're very pretty by the way
|
ALL OF YOU WITH YOUR VISIBLE EYELASHES AND EYEBROWS!!! [gonk]
|
Cosmic, It's just the filter that I use.~ My hair is dyed a plum color so sometimes the filter gives my hair a glow. :3
And thank you! Steel, I'm sorry. ; w; I think my eyebrows are too dark sometimes. They're really black, that's why I call them my fuzzy caterpillars when they're bushy. xD |
Haha, they're not too dark, but I can see that they probably require upkeep.
But you can see them at least! https://scontent-a-dfw.xx.fbcdn.net/..._3317268_n.jpg LOOK AT THAT! No visible hair anywhere near my eyes! Haha. |
Mine eyelashes are invisible
|
They require more than I care to give. [lol]
And I see what you mean! |
