I just bought 100 film canisters for the old film photo cameras (not video) for $27! Im pretty happy with that! Now when I make custom colours for my painting, I'll have places to put them so I can find it again later if I want it!

I quite like buying a bunch of stuff at once online, and then it turns into a lucky dip for the next month or so while it shows up because you never know what its going to be! ^_^

Of course, my bank account hates when I do that! [:(]

I like ordering online especially when it comes to smaller business and trying new things.

I fell in love with this coffee companies coffee which is basically instant coffee but better and truly instant. The stuff is also really natural and good. A little expensive and I only ever got the sample and haven't ordered anything from them due to money issues but they truly have the best coffee ever. Especially for instant coffee.

There's also Amazon where i've been buying stuff from for years now and haven't really had any negative experiences which haven't been rectified by Amazon support. So there's that as well.

Ordering online is fun for new experiences. Lots of good ones.

The instant coffee companies store page for those who might be curious.

That looks like a wonderful area, I love the idea of being able to go up through the woods there and see what's on the other side of the hill. I miss hills, it's so flat around here!

Vanora 10-03-2014 05:12 PM

I really like that picture, ~

CloudDreamer 10-03-2014 07:04 PM

Jelly: On the other side of that hill - I've been up there actually, there's a hiking trail - it overlooks the river on the other side. :] It does this big sweeping U around, so it's actually on both sides of the hill - the river. :) I miss home, that picture was taken about 5 minutes from home. :]
I miss hills too. [yes] And nature. [yes]

Vanora: Thank you! :] It's one of my favorites that she took.

Woahh, 100 for $27 is pretty darn good!
I should get back into taking photos with my old cameras. I have a few Lomo ones and a "Paxette". They still have that film in and I now have no idea what Ive taken photos of haha. I should get them developed.

Drop Bear 10-06-2014 02:35 AM

Do you develop them yourself Wonderlands? Either way, its a lot of fun when you cant remember whats on a roll of film before you develop it!

And yeah, I didnt think I was going to get them. I think the seller had an auto bidding account to keep jacking the price up, because as soon as I bid on it with a couple minutes to go, it went up again. I stopped after it did that, I wont get into a bidding war, its just silly. When I got home though, i got a second chance offer apparently. Who ever won the bid couldnt pay, so the next highest bidder gets a chance to get it. so I ended up getting it at the price I bid for it, plus postage!

I had an art weekend this weekend with a friend of mine! We made dragon jars and I finally got to customise the frames for the pictures I bought of her a while ago! Im so happy with how they turned out! Pictures can be found in Drop Bears Forgettory of the customised frames I did.

Wonderlands 10-06-2014 02:50 AM

Oh no, I dont have the know how. While it could produce interesting results if I did it myself and I did know how to I'd prefer to have a professional/someone who knows what they're doing. (shoutout to Big W) I'd like to see what I too photos of. :p The element of surprise is a lot of fun, indeed! Do you develop your own?

Wow, it was looking kind of rocky at the start but you really got a great deal in the end. So shitty that they were auto bidding though. Thank god that other person dropped out, so that was pretty neat. How high did it actually go?

Dragon Jars? :o They sound interesting. But man, those frame look so good, they suit the drawings so nicely. Its neat how the frame kind of turned into a bit of the artwork.

Drop Bear 10-06-2014 04:27 AM

We did a little of it in high school, but I dont really have a camera any more. my phone doubles mostly, and I'm not doing creative stuff with anything im getting shots of at this point either. The auto development labs do a pretty good job anyways so that'd be the way to go really.

The bidding went to $15.50 and the postage was $12 from memory.

Yeah, though I think I might have borked the paint job on the friends sadly. Was trying to get it all done so they could take it home with them, but that wasnt going to happen.

And cheers, thats exactly what I was looking at making them do! I'm glad it turned out so well!

I hate that! Especially when you know they have a reserve set because everytime you bid you are automatically outbid... Really? I know I wasn't outbid, you just have a reserve set for a mandatory price not listed.

Drop Bear 10-07-2014 06:25 AM

That may have been something like what happened, not sure.

Vanora 10-08-2014 07:40 PM

Oh look, Nori is being a selfie whore again. [oops]
I like my eyes in the picture.

I love how the light is coming in from the blinds. Was that done on purpose?

Vanora 10-09-2014 02:18 AM

It was~ I couldn't capture the lighting how I wanted it, but this was the best I could do.

Nephila 10-09-2014 02:24 AM

Good job it gives it kinda a romantic look.

Vanora 10-09-2014 02:39 AM

That's what my friend said when she saw it.
Ironically, when I took this picture, I was in a gloomy and sad mood.

sjacklene 10-09-2014 04:09 AM

Being as it is Thursday, I am going to post a Throwback Thursday picture... By the way, I still have this dress... I actually saw it in my grandmothers living room the other day.

My selfies are special because they take place on a boat:

*I'm glad I proofread this before posting it, because I wrote "on a bat" at first. That would have opened up all sorts of questions that I'm not at liberty to discuss right now. [ninja]
