Quite the belated response, but most of the internships state specifically on them to not call or email asking about it. They get a lot of applicants, and they can't respond to inquiries like that, I guess. But almost every one I've seen specifically states not to call/email and ask about it. So, I think that if I did that they'd probably be a little peeved. lol

Different stuff promoted and showcased, but booths around the place from relevant and interested companies etc? My beard is about 100mm long I guess? Give or take a fair bit. And yeah, basically. Especially this year with all the VR talks and booths. Lot of interesting people there though, and the indie devs got a lot more space at the forefront this year. Exciting time to be in this industry. [:)] |

The VR side of things there would be a lot of fun to play around with I imagine! And I think indie stuff might start getting a bit more prolific particularly after the explosion of No Mans Sky and the deal they've done with Sony for marketing! I can see more deals like that popping up on some truly great projects which will be great! Opens up a lot more possibilities and also raises the bar a bit too if that sort of thing is an option for a project. |
