>: Last movie I saw was Kronk's New Groove, LOL.
Of course, I loved it. ♥ 4/5. Other than that, I saw Teeth. 1.5/5. D: Not my type of movie. I don't care about teeth in your vagina. Oh, and I loved how everybody raped that poor girl. Totally. And all the penises in that movie. u_u Ugh. |
Waitress: 5/5
A truly beautiful movie with an original idea and wonderful acting. |
Pan's Labyrinth
4/5 It was creepy. Some parts were grotesque. The acting was good, though. The storyline seemed original. I'm not really into fantasy/sci-fi, though. I liked that they spoke Italian. It's such a pretty language. I tend to like movies that I need subtitles with, because I pay more attention. |
I saw Mad Money today on demand i was excited to watch i thought it was gonna be funnier than it was i say i would give it a 4.5. for keeping me busy for about two hours.
|
The last thing I watched was The Machinist, though it was in horrid quality on YouTube.
4/5. Christian Bale gives an absolutely awesome performance, even the end of the movie was pretty predictable (as someone who's seen Fight Club, anyway). |
Hellboy 2: The Golden Army 9/10. I completely side with Nuada, helps that he is one of the sexiest things I've ever seen ;)
The Dark Knight 10/10 ^_^ I am a HUGE Joker fan and I thought that he was finally portrayed properly. |
...House Bunny...I think -_-(in theatres)
I'd give it a 8/10 It was pretty funny XD Wild Hogs was the last movie I saw. I love that movie^^ I've seen it 5 times. 9/10 |
Patch Adams. Definitely one of my favorite movies, I give it two thumbs up, five stars, or whatever other rating system you'd care to use. Pretty much anything with Robin Williams is good though.
|
Sooo, I watched I Know What You Did Last Summer just for giggles.
It gets a 1.5/5 for being juuuuuust stupid enough to be entertaining, but not entertaining enough to qualify as decent film. |
What Lies Beneath with Michelle Pfieffer and Harrison Ford. There were so many places that made me jump! Very suspenseful. I would give it a 7.5/10 though because the first part of the movie seemed disjointed from the rest of it.
|
I finally got around to watching Sweeney Todd the night before last. I'm not very big on musicals, but it was pretty good. But then again, I think Tim Burton always does good work. Helena Bonham Carter stole the film for me, she was great. I don't know what the stage production is like, but the side story of Johanna and Anthony seemed kinda forced. I'mma give it a 7.5/10. ;D

I saw a movie named Frequency.
It was about a man who just got divorced, and one day he gets/finds his fathers old radio. His father died in a fire in some warehouse in 1969, he was a fireman, trying to save some people out of the building. So the man finds his fathers radio, and tries to get it to work, on a night when some northernlight is seen very good in america. So he tries the radio and he hears a voice that says: Who is this? Do you have a licence to use this radio? He has contact with his father back in 1969, and tries to safe his father when the day comes that he dies. So the father is saved, but then his friends say: What are you talking about, a fire? He died from lungcancer. All the people around him don't know about the history change, but he can remember both, as if he dreamt it. And alot of other things changed, now his mother is dead and he never met his wife/girlfriend. So it had alot of consequences, and he has to change a few things the way they were for his own and other peoples goods. It was a little bit weird movie, some parts I didn't realy onderstand, I was like: Uh who is that? Hmm now whats happening? But the idea was quite ok. I'd give it a 7/10. |
The last movie I saw was Eagle Eye.
Shia!! I give it a 9/10 I was surprised I liked it, I am really picky about movies I watch and the only reason I saw that was because my mom wanted to go. |
I saw Chicago on TV last week. Good stuff; I absolutely adore musicals, and Chicago was full of class and fun with its cynicism. Definite 10/10 out of me.
The last movie I saw on DVD was Forbidden Kingdom. It progresses exactly as you'd expect but it executes it so well that it makes it all the more enjoyable. 8/10. And then the last one I saw in theaters was The Dark Knight. I need not explain my feelings... :~p 10/10. I'm looking forwar to getting the DVD soon. |
The Happeneing.
I wouldn't suggest buying this movie. Wait until you either Rent or watch someone elses copy. The movie was alright, but could have been much better. It is my least favorite movie with Mark Wahlberg |
The last movie I saw in theaters was Igor. It's pretty much exactly what you expect from the trailer, funny and cute, but a little cliche and the humor is forced sometimes. It gets points for surprising with the ending. It makes suicidal creatures and blind orphans funny.
I give it a 7.5/10 |
The last movie I saw was American History X. It was playing on FX and it looked interesting to me. It would get a 9/10 from me for the story, it was absolutely compelling. Edward Norton played his role really well too.
People should watch it...if they're not put off by a topic as controversial as Neo-Nazism. o_O |
I saw I am Legend, pretty late at night, so I was freaking out at the dark parts. I do not like those kind of movies, especially when some zombie creature is going to pop out at random.
I'd give it a 8/10 for cool plot, and dramatic ending. |
The last movie I saw was 10 Things I Hate About You! I absolutely love this movie! Bravo Heath! I laughed i cried! i give it 5 shining stars:)
R.I.P. Heathcliff Andrew Ledger |
Major Payne
4/5 I love Damon Wayans. He's funny. The movie is funny. Some of the acting and such is kind of iffy. It's an all right movie. I wouldn't say it's great, though. |
Last Movie: Fight Club (1999)
At first I avoided this movie, because I believed that it couldn't possibly live up to the sheer brilliance of the original Palahniuk novel; how could the secret possibly be maintained while still making the movie effective? The movie, however, was brilliant, and far exceeded my original expectation. Due attention was paid to the tone and narrative style of the novel, and every major point of the novel which impacted me was adequately addressed without making me feel like I was having a summary shoved down my throat. The artistic style of the director was laudable, and the three principal actors in the film represented their characters perfectly. I'm actually really starting to become a fan of Bradd Pitt, thanks to this and Snatch. I've also frequently heard of Helena Bonham Carter that her characters are too similar-- basically, that she plays the same batshit woman in every role. I have to say, however, that I don't believe it to be true; while she does frequently choose off-kilter female characters, she managed to make Marla Singer distinct from her other roles. While she didn't portray the character I'd imagined in my mind, I'm glad for it-- Carter's choices served as a good counterpoint to the Narrator and Tyler Durden. Edward Norton's attention to detail was perfect. He was spot-on. His moment of steel cohones with "the boss" was also more than adequately terrifying. I quite liked it. Never eating soup again. 10/10. Note that the movie is rated R and therefore not advised for Mormons. Read the book if you're not allowed to see the actual film. |
I saw Corpse Bride. I give it a 6.5-7/10. I had high expectations, because I love Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter, and had wanted to see it for a long time. It wasn't as great as I was hoping, but I did still like it. It was cute.
Helena Bonham Carter and Johnny Depp both did FANTASTIC voice acting, they totally blew me out of the water. The animation was BEAUTIFUL, and the character designs were very clever and well-thought out. I liked how the corpse bride herself was prettier than the living bride, that was a nice touch. The fact the living world was so dreary while the undead's world was so colorful and energetic was a fun little piece of irnony. There was also some cute humor, I laughed a few times. The plot was great. It was a little weird, though, and I had not been expecting the singing. o_o That threw me off a little, but I quickly got used to both things. The whole thing was kind of predictable, and the great story idea was potrayed sort of weakly, though there were plenty of good aspects to make up for that. I was glad I saw it, though. I don't like to watch movies often, and when I do, I expect to enjoy it. Corpse Bride came through for me. :) |
Sweeny Todd - Demon Barber of Fleet Street
I give it a ten out of ten, because the actors played their parts splendidly. Depp's singing was a bit choppy, but it suited the mood of the film throughout. Even Alan Rickman delievered a usual stunning performance, making the most out of a part that didn't have many lines. Rickman's presence, posture, subtle expressions... they all added up to be absolutely wonderful. He has an interesting voice as well. When you normally think of Rickman, him singing "Pretty Girls~" doesn't come to mind first. Refreashing. If anyone out there is a fellow Rickman fan (no, I will not crumble and say "Rickmaniac" - I have more dignity than that), then I highly reccomend this movie. Hm... Well, actually I'd reccomend it to anyone, regardless. |
Iron man. Two out of ten. The action and fight sequences were rather bland. I loved the characters interaction and his car. xD The suit didn't look that great and the graphics weren't all that good in my opinion. I still don't think they picked a right person to play Tony Stark >_> |
