Last movie I saw was Grandma's Boy.
Incredibly hilarious film, with lots of games and weed. It was a relief for me to finally not watch a film that almost made me cry.

9/10

He's just not that into you

I loved the book and how it was written but surprisingly, I found myself sleepy throughout the movie O.o Even with such star power in the movie, I could not help but think it was actually, kind of boring >.<'' I mean the fact that there was no head or tail in the plot kind of threw me off because it got a bit confusing and also when it came to the female and male characters, somehow, they just did not seem real enough. the book made them sounds very realistic in very possible situations. The movie made it look like it was fanciful and all fiction. I did, of course think their acting was stellar! I mean, we are talking about people like scarlet, drew, ben and jennifer... It was expected. Though I really didn't like their characters much >.<'' For me, it felt like Jennifer gave up wayyy too easily in the end, I mean we see ben doing dishes and whoa! its like the whole world has changed for them... And the thing about this movie, is well, since i did not finish it, I would not know but then, the thing is, I was not really sure if it was called 'he's just not that into you' or 'she's not...' because both the girl and guy characters were equally idiotic at some points. I really expected a lot more from this movie, probably because of the book... But now I know never to read the book before a movie comes out. That is probably why I enjoyed the Harry Potter series and the Da Vinci Code ^^''

The latest Star Trek movie - 9/10. I really enjoyed it, aside from them being annoyingly heavy handed with the lens flare. I hope they start a new series or something after this, it's about time ST gets dragged back to it's mainstream start. It's a good franchise, it deserves to shake off the cult-only image it's developed since its beginning.

But, yeah, good, fun movie, shiny special effects, nice casting :3

Bride Wars - 2/10
The only positive thing I can think of to say about this movie is it's not the worst thing I've ever seen. The protagonists were complete bitches that perpetuate every stereotype in the book, the jokes were petty and stupid, the plot didn't even try to not be obnoxiously predictable and the "ending message" was so cheesy I contemplated putting it on crackers and having a snack.
Yes, I do like run-on sentences.

Sahara - 9/10
It's a bit gorey, but seeing as it's a movie about an epidemic it's pretty good. I LOVE the characters, they're all so funny and cute x)
Apart from the main guy, he's uuuuuuuuuuugly... //>.>

The last movie I saw was "Land of the Lost."
It was ok, only ok.
A lot of "crude" humor, weird costumes/props, I dunno.

My oyunger cousin loved it but...meh....

I'd give it a six out of ten.

10/10
I loved it! Heartwarming and absolutely beautiful animation.
Even my boyfriend liked it, and he doesn't "do" cute movies.

I saw Hancock.. I like how its filmed, and its rather entertaining to watch. The plot is so silly though, and just.. I dont know, it didnt make me think at all. It was cosy atleast, the movie.. So maybe 6/10 ?

She's All that

I've been watching way too many chic flicks lately XD But this is a really old one... I mean I somehow can't believe the movie is a decade old O.o Well, maybe the image of Usher as the school DJ and Paul Walker as the b*stard made me think otherwise. I mean it was so hard imagining Paul Walker as those high school jock jerks when he's been racing down high ways in sports cars for a few movies :P I mean, the storyline of this movie is predictable, so-so. the normal kind of highschool girl movie where they make the nerdy artsie girl pretty in the end and she falls for the popular guy. Nothing much about this movie actually since i was more interested in seeing now familiar actors and actresses in roles I am surprised to see them in. I really like Rachel Leigh Cook as an actress but wow! I think she was a really sucky actress in this movie. Must have been one of her firsts because she had no expression whatsoever on her face. I thought Usher was cool and funky. Freddie Prince was the the normal popular guy, he played it well. Everyone else was alright. The music in the movie was nice though. Probably because it was so nineties! 90s music is the best XD Overall, a nice movie to just watch when there was nothing else to do.

"The Messengers"

I know it's old, but I JUST saw it, because it played on tv. It was ok. It was only like two hours long -including the commercials- and it only really got interesting in the last half hour, and even then, it wasn't anything spectaular. It was actually pretty predictible. Just incase anyone is on the slowtrain like I was, I won't go into detail, but I wouldn't waste my time on it, if I were you, and you haven't seen it.

Ratings...
I think I'd give it a four out of ten.

Robert Ludlum's Convert One: The Hades Factor

I think this movie is a movie not many people have seen, not a very popular movie but it was something I found in my dad's stack of DVDs. I only watched it because Mira Sorvino and Anjelica Houston acted in it. And they are good actresses. The story is about biochemical threats and how they use viruses as a sort of terrorist plot to annihilate the American population. I found this movie somewhat racist in a sense because they made it sound like all Muslims are terrorists and should be feared =.='' But then, I was shocked to see a woman playing the president, which gave me a good feeling about the movie. Its pretty action packed and somewhat surprising because the movie is kind of long and the good guy turns out to be bad and in the middle of the movie, things start to unfold and you can pretty much figure out who the antagonist is. But how he planned everything as part of a terrorist attack was pretty cool because he didn't mean for it to kill but for it to make money by coming up with a vaccine instead. It was a twist which I rather liked because it was different from what I thought would have happened. Unfortunately, I think there is a movie about Covert 1 prior to this one and I found some parts confusing because I never watched that one so when they talked about their past and missions before this and there were connections to the past especially with some of the characters so I think for anyone who wants to check this movie out, they should check that one out first. Overall, I didn't think I would have enjoyed it that much but I found myself not turning it off and wanting to see what happened in the end so it was very... attention grabbing ^^''

Gran Torino
Clint Eastwood directed, produced and starred in this movie. As well as writing the theme song.
How could you go wrong.
I gave it a 10 tough some references made by characters were a bit off.

UP

It was actually pretty good. Very cute and funny, not just for little kids but for older people teens and adults included. And no underlined crude humor found in the supposed kiddy movies today. 7/10

Tropic Thunder

Starring Ben Stiller, Jack Black, Robert Downey Jr. A group of spoiled actors hold up the production of a Vietnam war epic and so the director decides to drop them in the jungle on their own. ... And then wackiness ensues.

I was bored. I wanted something to watch. I didn't expect much outta this film, but it wasn't half bad. Pretty funny. I think Robert Downey Jr. stole the movie. Tom Cruise played a supporting role, but his character was an asshole. So... yeah.

Still, like said, not bad. 7.5/10

The Uninvited. It was awesome! One of the best movies I've seen in a LNG time. 5/5

I just finished watching Religulous, and I share a lot of Bill Mahers views on religion so it was a bit of (pardon the pun) preaching to the choir. It definitely has it's funny moments but was a bit painful to watch at the same time, knowing they are out there. The religious theme parks were especially disturbing to me. So, yeah, I'd recommend it and give it about a 7.5 out of 10. Was it life changing? No. Was it amusing, yes.

Last movie I saw was "The Brave one" with Jodie Foster. It was nice acting, and a certain point captivating, but the overall storyline was pretty standard. However, with Jodies amazing acting and a good director the standard story becomes interesting. The sens-moral of the film is "kill the bad guys". I think I'd give it a 7/10, still worth watching.

Up.

Was so good.

Pixard made up for their failure with Cars in my eyes.

Pan's Labyrinth. It was beautiful and violent and sweet and sad and creepy. I loved every minute of it, even the ones where I was hunched up in my chair with my hands over my eyes. 9/10.

Also, the pale man = creepiest monster I have ever seen ever.

the last most recent movie i watched was imagine which was a biography about John Lennon and actually a pretty good one even though it's 2 hours and 30 minutes long; I think I gave it a 4/5 whenever i did the rating the only mistake I found in it was the time limit really and that wasn't a big one.

Last movie I watched was Sword of the Stranger, which I had already seen before. It's my favorite anime movie. Very spectacular! Excellent animation, voice acting is great, fight scenes are beautifully animated and very thrilling!

Last movie I watched that I hadn't seen before was The Sky Crawlers. It's another anime movie, but this one, I didn't like. The plot was confusing and it just didn't seem laid out very well. I felt like it jumped around too much.
I got the whole "Kildren" aspect of it, but the smaller plots in the story completely threw me off. Some scenes and things seemed to be thrown in at random.

I was really let down, The Sky Crawlers is by the creator of Ghost in the Shell. I really liked the first Ghost in the Shell, and I've seen the anime series, so I was expecting another great hit. Well, it was a miss, I didn't enjoy it.

The last movie I saw was UP. It was great! I think it was the best Pixar movie yet. Very sweet. It catered to the kids, and the adults would enjoy it too. I have to hand it to Disney to keep the adults entertained. It is one movie I would purchase.

I saw that someone else commented on Gran Torrino. That was a great movie too. I loved that. Clint Eastwood did an amazing job. The other no name actors were good too. Usually when you have only one star in the movie it doesn't do very well. I would purchase this movie too.

UP!

Characterization: 4\5
Story: 4\5
Animation: 5\5
Music: 3\5

So I guess my final rating is a 4\5. :) I enjoyed the movie muchly. It is totally worth spending money on to go see in a movie theater. Although I saw the 3D version, and I didn't really see that much that was 3D about it. That doesn't really affect the quality of the movie itself, though.

Note that I am a pretty open-minded person and I am also far from being a movie critic. :P
