I like Peter Pan! Not as much as some other Dizzy movies, but still do care for it.
I don't know why they're releasing a "special edition" when it's already come out on DVD. They did the same with Lady and the Tramp though. :/ I'll probably end up buying it though to replace the other copy if I so happen to lose it, which I probably will. |

I'm not a fan of the Disney version. I tried watching it again some time ago, but it wasn't that interesting and I forgot how... odd it was. Pan was weird looking. xD
Anyway, I liked the one with Jeremy Sumpter that came out. It was cute albeit for the pre-teen sexual tension. But it was wonderful and I liked the score for it. :] |
I've always loved Peter pan. I never really liked Tinker Bell though. I always thought so had way too much attitude. She sure is cute though. I was thinking about actually buying the DVD, which would be a rarity for me cosidering I only own like 2 DVDS.

*nods* yeah.. i read the first few paragraphs before closing it ^^;; hes got a point, but still.. *sigh* though i guess now that i think about it, robin williams was wearing tights in the "hook" movie.. and hes in his 50's now isnt he?

Cool I want to get it but I do dislike one section of it where the Native Americans started singing that song it seemed rather demeaning.

hahah i remember all the girl in my class dessing up as peter pan one year for halloween. never actually remember seeing a boy dress up as him. his costume really reminds me of robin hood costume >.<;; |
Peter Pan has been a good movie for myself when I was a kid, but in some of the movies they've made, Tinker Bell was a 'mean' person in one of the film.
She acted stuck up. :P |

I'm very excited for the movie! This weekend I will run to the store and buy it. My little sister isn't interested in Peter Pan at all. She didn't especially like that level in Kingdom Hearts. I've always been a huge Peter Pan fan. Theatrical and the movie versions. It releasing from the disney vault is the highlight of my week. I do believe they're making a movie about just Tinkerbell. It might be a propoganda to have the Peter Pan movie come out just before the Tinkerbell movie does. So younger fans can become interested and buy the Tinkerbell movie.

Whoo! I just bought the Peter Pan DVD today. I'll spend the rest of tonight watching it. Maybe check out the bonus features. I'll probably grab my sister and make her watch it with me. Even if she hates Peter Pan. I'll guilt trip her into it. Just so excited about finally having the movie!

heheh well i for one happen to be a fan of tinkerbell for one. at least shes snooty but never actually says anything. wouldnt it be lovely if all the annoying people instead of hearing them rant and rant about something you dont even care about had this cute little soft tinkling bell sound instead? or when your at work and a customer screams at you (by no fault of yours) and all you heard was this cute little tune and see their face all red and angry *amused* that would be a vast improvement IMO. not to mention shes decked out in green which is another + in my book ^^
muhahaha and of course i checked if he was legal silly, would be kinda wierd to tell all my friends "i think this char is hott and him be like... 12 or something *freaks out* my friends would tease me to the end and beyond. |

Oh God, a thread for my favourite Disney movie ever. ;____;
I've loved it since I was a kid. It overtook The Little Mermaid in the fave film stakes because it's so full of highjinks and very little romance. As a 6 year old what do you want more than flying, pirates, mermaids, pixies, crocodiles and 'indians'?!? The fact that Wendy, John and Michael all share my surname just added to the magic. I was convinced I was descendants of theirs. Due to the whole Darling thing, my favourite character is Wendy. I've always felt very loyal to Wendy. How dare Tinkerbell try to have another Miss Darling shot down. Jealous little pixie. D; About eight years ago I leant my video to my little cousin and never had the heart to ask for it back. I miss it so much but thankfully it's out over here TOMORROW! I'm soso excited. A couple of months ago someone bought me Peter Pan In Scarlet which is the first official sequel to the original book and it is wonderful. Truly, fantastically wonderful. If you haven't read it, you should. As for other Pan related movies? I wasn't too into Hook and never sat through all of the Jeremy Sumpter version. It just wouldn't be the same as Disney. Walt has my heart when it comes to the boy who never grew up. |

NO, WENDY IS MISUNDERSTOOD. D; People only get on Tink's side cuz she can't talk. If she could vocalise the venomous thoughts she has about the poor Miss Darling then people would be shocks and appalled. SHOCKED AND APPALLED!
