I've got a number riddle. :O
 
  • When I am divided by 6, the remainder is 5
    When I am divided by 5, the remainder is 4
    When I am divided by 4, the remainder is 3
    When I am divided by 3, the remainder is 2
    When I am divided by 2, the remainder is 1.
    What number am I?

    I was given this riddle for fun by my Algebra instructor, and I can't quite figure it out. Anyone wanna help brainstorm? xD

Would the number be whatever is mentioned in the last part? For example, the reason the remainder is 5, is because the number was 5.

hmm...I've heard of that riddle before in one of my classes when the teacher gave it to us for fun..Though I don't remember what the answer is.
