Yea, 5250 now. I just finished all the Love Fool Title Achievements. xD I'm currently ranked (ranked on wow-achievements.com) 85th on my server for the most achievements. lol. I'm a tad bit obsessive. (I STILL haven't finished the Loremaster achievement... shame on me. >.< ) I lucked out on 4 of the V-Day achievements though. I had them before the event even started. I had the pet/bouquet of roses from past years, a bag of candy sitting in the bank too so I had already made all the heart candies. I had something else too but I don't remember what it was anymore. xD Padfootsy: Awww, better to focus on school than worry about WoW. I actually did the Love Fool stuff today since I'm dedicating ALL of Mon - Weds to school work I've been putting off. xD Level 50 already on your first toon is amazing. :) Great job. <3 |

Lol, I just got the lucky draw on the last candy I needed so helloooo "Lathrine the Love Fool"! XD Of course, I'm still trying for that pet.... 75 pet achievement foal + Night elf = Have to get it for the lulz. :D I'm still two achievements short of getting all of the Love Fool ones, though. x_x I'm hoping to get them. It'd be quite fun to get all of them. Wow! 85th is probably far better then where I am... I slack so much on achievements. XD |

The valentines event in wow is funny. I hate how horde get the good gifts though from there people, They get pie and poems...we get bread and crapy nightelf made crafts. lame.

Nice to see warlocks haven't died out completely. I was AMAZED we had 3 locks in 25 naxx yesterday. We NEVER even have ONE lock in our runs. (We also pugged all 3 >.< There's only one active main warlock in my guild and calling him active is a bit of an over statement =/ We might see him on the weekends. /sigh ) Grats on 53 pets. :) I'm still working towards the fawn myself. Beginning to feel like I'll never get the last 10 I need for 75. >.<;;; I play on Kil'Jaeden and Dragonmaw. :( Both are Alliance. My baby horde are level 40 on Destromath and Dragonblight. =/ Or I would! The horde's version of christmas is prettier in my opinion. :) You get to have skulls and really nifty christmas trees. ^^ |

I'm looking forward to the two pets in may. After this year's children's week I only need one more year to get the last outlands pet and I'll have all 6 of the children's week pets. xDD I'm going to go farm for the parrot pet off the bloodsail pirates soon. =/ Figure I might as well considering I need the goblin towns rep. Every now and then I realize how far behind I am in achievements from where I want to be.... and on the same hand I occasionally look at my 5260 points and cringe realizing how much of my time it has taken up over the last four years to get them all. @[email protected];;;; |

Hi padfootsy! ^-^ There's actually several parrot pets in the game. :) The one I'm looking for is a VERY rare drop in Stranglethorn Vale off the bloodsail pirate mobs. ^-^
Children's week is an event in May, for a week we're given the option to pick up an orphan in Stormwind (or Orgrimmar) to take with us to 3 specific locations. ( I don't know what the locations for horde are, never been tempted to try on my horde. ) And if you do everything they want (they give you quests) then you can return them to their home city and turn them back in for one of 3 pets. A rat, a piglet or a turtle. ^-^ It's one of my favorite events. They have another one you can do for 1 of 3 other pets in outlands but I've only done it once since I missed children's week one year. I don't really remember what places it asked you to go to anymore. It is the same for horde and alliance though. :) |
What level do you have to be to do the quests? I know there are a lot of higher level event quests T.T It sounds fun though!
Oh man, STV... I have done so many quests there that I'm almost revered with Booty Bay. Lol I got ganked so many times there. I even have the achievement from completing all of Hemet Nesingwary's quests (or whatever his name is). I spend a few levels grinding the bloodsail buckaneers, and I didn't get the drop. I got 5 or so captain's keys from the treasure boxes, but no parrot. :( Perhaps when I'm a little bit higher I'll go back there and try to farm it. That would be awesome to have! The only pets I have are a cockroach, which I bought in Undercity, and the polar bear from the 4th anniversary. |
This is the first event I ever got to do when I first started playing in April 2005 and I KNOW I was level 14 and could pick up all the quests from the orphan.
If you're questing in STV then you're definitely high level enough to complete all the orphan's quests in orgrimmar. They involve simple things like visiting 3 particular places with your orphan. You're not going to be able to finish all the achievements but you'll be able to do some. :) You're not going to be able to do the outlands set though. That's almost a level 70 requirement I believe. I remember being happy I had a flying mount. The pet has a ridiculously low drop rate. I have a few friends who spent days, not hours, killing and killing the pirates and never saw the pet drop. =/ It's the hardest pet to get in the game imo. If you want some pets there's a troll vendor in Orgrimmar who sells snakes. :) A red, brown and black one. You can also buy a prairie dog from a vendor in thunder Bluff. ^-^ It's one of my personal favorites. The goblins in booty bay sell parrots too. A cockatiel and something else. xD I don't remember the exact name. :) You can always try the auction house for alliance pets. ^-^ They're usually a bit overpriced though. |
Thanks for the info! I'm not that into pets right now... especially when they dont' do anything... except give you an achievement. I'm just trying to get to 55 so I can create a DK, and 60 so I can get an epic mount. I don't even know how I'm going to get enough gold to buy one though. Or enough money to buy a time card XD

DK's are fun at first and get boring rather quickly, imo. =/ Making the money for the epic mount is easier and faster than you think. The real life money for game cards and expansions is the trickier part. ^^;;; |

Well don't lose all the fun leveling. Once you hit 80 the game gets pretty boring unless you're raiding all the time. ^^;;; (Or you really like to pvp... >.> )
It's great to have a bunch of people to play with. It keeps the game fun, and a group of 4 is perfect, means you only have to find one more person to run instances. ^-^ |
