DDR and Stepmania = Love.
I play both on Heavy mode, but I'm far from an expert. ._. Can't do most of the 10 Foot songs yet. I have a lot of favorite songs, but if I had to pick one song, I'd go with... Neo Max, full version. It's so... what's the word... Epic. @[email protected] |
I don't have DDR, I tried it once and I failed Miserably at the easiest level. D:
|
Ahaha DDR. Very good exercise method.
I can't remember the exact name of this one song I like, but it's very oldies, and swing-y (50's, old eras maybe?), and it's on one of the newer versions. : > Also that one Captain Jack song. XD And "Break Down." Isn't like, a DDR-ish game supposed to be coming out for the Wii? Or did I hear wrong? |
; 3 ; I haven't been able to play DDR in a really long time. Where I used to live, I would just hop over to the mall and go hit up the arcade for their DDR machine and all that. I moved this year, though, and this itty bitty country city we live in doesn't have a mall or anything. So I haven't been able to play at all. u___u;; |
I've played a lot of DDR and I love it. The version of the game cube annoys me though so we will not discuss it further.
I play mostly on standard and mostly the older games, the newer versions seem to be getting easier and easier except where freezez and air is involved. I like the Whistle song . 321 stars, moonlight shadow and exotic ethnic ( My signature song amoug our DDR group). I find it to be great fun and also good for weight loss. Heck a friend of mine actually convinced a mutual friends mother to buy the game based on her own weight loss playing it. Both mother and daughter play and use it for fun and excerise. All in all I find the the plastic pads better than the arcade version which i never seem to be able to stay on or not lose my place on. I have a bad habit of migrating when i move and somehow it's easier to to fully lose my place when on the other pads. |
I love DDR, but I haven't been able to play it for a few months. I usually play on Heavy and Challange. I own four versions for PS2 and about... 6 mats for it since they keep getting worn down. I use to bring it to school to play in the anime club I ran till I graduated last June.
I keep screwing up my knees and ankles from playing this game, heh. It's so amusing. The best people in my group are the gimpy people. |
I LOVE DDR!
My favorite song is 'Can't Stop Fallin` In Love' and 'Moonlight Shadow' I play on heavy. Not too good at it. xD I also liked the game 'In the Groove', even though after playing that game for a while, the sync and arrows in DDR seem so different and difficult to get good on. x.x |
I LOVE DDR TOO...!
I'm Heavy/challenge at home, Standard/heavy in the arcade (Do to different pads) And If there were a level any higher than challenge thats the level I'd be with a controller. I practically like any song that isn't a romance one. And I don't know my best score but my best strait was Somewhere in the 2800s(heavy endless) for controller and 1800s(standard endless) for the pad. I haven't done endless in so long lol. Does anyone try to remake any of the songs dance steps with edit mode? |
I LOVE DDR!!
I'm ok at it xD My favourite song is Kaeggerou (i can't spell it XC ) My best score was a "AAA" on "Love shine" on difficult level from the supernova version. |
I use DDR as a way of exercise and that's it. I don't have any dedication for the game, therefore I've never really put forth an effort to play past light/standard. I don't even really care for the music all that much either, 99% of the konami songs I like on DDR are crossovers from IIDX, Pop'n, and Guitar Freaks/Drum Mania. :/
In terms of rhythm games, the only game I really have any dedication for is IIDX. Oh, how I love IIDX. <3 |
If I get warmed up on my feet I am only good at playing on light mode. Which reminds me I need to replace my mat at home, I only have DDR Max2 and Extreme2. My favorite song to play on has to either be End of the Century or Heaven is a '57 metallic gray (gimmix. I've lost one tournament held by my Japanese club and won one done during a teen camp thing I had to do during my summer.
Though I'm a guilty StepMaina user. On that I tend to play a lot of my songs sped up, and I can handle heavy after getting a grip of standard and light. I have at least a few songs from every DDR game, different step charts of course, but nonetheless same song.Though nowadays I have to make sure I turn off mines due to I don't remember which songs have mines on them, also I tend to have the assist tick on when I'm playing. I don't know why but it just kinda helps when you have a lot of beats running around on some songs. |
Right now, Dae has no access to DDR at college D: Other than on the weekends when I can go to the mall and play there... And of course, many of those machines are broken because of stompers and bar rapers ... ToT

I love DDR, I have been playing it since it came out for the third time I think since the first time was in Gameboy. . .
I'm a heavy player/ Challenge, I love playing: Max 300 89.6% Murmur Twins 93.7% 1 2 3 Stars! 97.4% Healing Vision 96.5% Love Shine 97.8% My Summer Love (Challenge) 98.3% You Know you Gotta Move it 98.8% Celebrate 98.7% And a lot more that are in the arcade, I have been able to maintain those high scores and now I'm not able to play because I'm one month and a half pregnant. XD |
I like DDR, but I seriously suck at it, on the mat or online (currently I can only play it on the computer, I don't have the game and the mat myself). I do enjoy playing them, although I have very slow reflexes, so I perfer playing it alone, I don't like embarrassing myself very much. - -;
|
I love DDR so much.. I can play on expert XD
It's kind of sad how many hours i've played it.. but.. it's wonderful. |
Know what? Ya, I suck at DDR.
BIG TIME. It makes me want to cry. I've only played twice though, at arcades. Speed over Beethoven was fun. Medium - A+ |
I play supernova 2, favorite songs are angelus, freeway shuffle, eternus, and I can't stop the rain
Eternus we renamed the Zelda song cause it reminds us all of Zelda background music. I can't stop the rain, done by Cascada, if only they had every time we touch, we'd play that song till we all got very very tired of it :) fascination-eternal love mix, kills me and my friends, we have to use controller to even clear the song :( I am not great, we range in the middle, none of us are great. We all are getting better since started to play in the lounge. Must play again after finals are over. |
Edit.
|
I like the game, though I'm not that great at it.
I have DDR for the Xbox, but there's no room to play it with the way the living room is situated for Christmas. |
I play DDR occasionally. :3
I'm really bad at it, though. > O>;; I've never been good at dancing. n ___ n; |
I love DDR! I don't play it much anymore because my room is getting more crowded and I can't find room for my pad anymore. But I remember when I used to play it so much that whenever I would close my eyes, or listen to any type of music I would always see those arrows still going. I could tell when I played too much when I saw over 4 arrows going up all at the same time.

There are so many amazing songs on DDR. I have DDRE2, which is awesome. I love 1998, i can do it on standard  . I also love Speed Over Beethoven (did I spell that right?), Cartoon Heroes, Wonderful Night, Boom Boom Dollar, and Captain Jack.
DDR is the best game ever! |
I don't have it, but a friend of mine does. She loves it and is really good at it. She makes me play whenever I visit her, but I suck at it. When you have to step back, I never step back far enough and miss that little pad and screw myself up. Or I nearly fall over trying to hit two of them at once. It's horrible to watch, really. xD
|
I'm okay at DDR, I can only play on Light mostly- some standard- but I still love it!
I love La Bamba, Sexy Planet, Speed Over Beethoven, End of the Century, Sakura, and Daikenkai. The first song I ever played was Daikenkai. The best I've ever did was a AA on End of the Century Light... |
