I'm going to agree with Tilly on this one. Everyone was just too perfect, and Bella's "clumsiness" doesn't really qualify as a flaw.

I Got The Books For Christmas And Was Soo Happy. <333 And Now I Can't Wait For Breaking Dawn To Come Out, Only Half A Year To Go. xDD My Sisters Stole Them From Me And Read Them Too, But They Aren't Quite As Obsessed As Me. ^-^;; Actually My Sister Brought Twilight Home One Day, And I Just Happened To Pick It Up And Start Reading... But Then She Took It Away From Me So I Had To Wait To Get My Own. ;-; But I Got It Now So Its All Good. I Also Can't Wait Until The Movie Comes Out, Truthfully, I Want To See How Bad They're Gonna Mess It Up. My sister loves those books! She's been trying to get me to read them for such a long time, but I have a giant queue it's waiting behind. I think I ended up putting it last because I'm not too fond of romance D:~

I think I'll wait until the movie comes out to decide if I want to read the books. I'm just afraid they're going to end up being stereotypical, no matter how much people love them. Also, since the lady who wrote them wasn't a "writer," and just suddenly penned a novel, I'm a little nervous I'll just hate her writing style and give up on her before getting to the good parts of her books.

My friend from church suggested that I should read it, but I didn't have the book, so she lent hers. I read it in about a week or so, and I always slept late because it was hard for me to put the book down! I only read New Moon in TWO day, and I felt really amazing. xDD I did the same to Eclipse. It's pretty crazy; I've never been so obsessed with books. [x |
Ciadenise; I did the same with the books. When I first read Twilight I read it pretty fast, usually I take my time with books though I really couldn't put it down. Same thing with New Moon and Eclipse.

Unfortunately, since my library only had New Moon and not Twilight at the time I went there, I settled for reading New Moon first and decided to read Twilight another time. Fortunately, my mind is able to fill in the puzzles of what happened in Twilight based on little clues referring back to Twilight in New Moon, so I wasn't all that lost. ^^ The only thing that made me wonder was why they didn't drink human blood, and I had to look that up on wikipedia.
My favorite part of New Moon just had to be Bella finally reaching Edward in time in Volterra, Italy. I remember my heart was literally racing as I read that chapter, hoping that Bella would reach Edward in time and stop him from getting killed by the Volturi. My other favorite part was when Edward was in Bella's bedroom and he apologized for lying, and said that he had always loved her...and how without her, he crawled into a fetal position for days. XD |
I read the first two but nothing after that.

Can't wait for Breaking Dawn in August, I think it's supposed to be the 2ed of August. I can't get enough of Twilight, I just kept reading the books over and over again till i memorized them. Now I'm hooked on reading Twilight fan fiction. (if you are looking for a good Twilight fanfic website try twilightarchives.com)

Twilight Rocks. I cried during New Moon so much. Eclipse left me wanting more so bad. I want to know what Charlie says when Edward and Bella go to tell him they are engaged so bad.

Ah! Twilight is my favorite book. I read all three books in four days. o_o; I often go back to read Twilight over again since it's my favorite book. New Moon was really sad. D: I wanted to throw the book at the wall when it did that 4-6 month skip after Edward did what he did. For Eclipse.. I don't honestly remember alot of what happened, I was desperately trying to get to the mushy stuff to make me stop from having a panic attack. XD From what Tilly said.. It is true. Most of the characters seem overly perfect, and Bella's clumsiness gets irritating and unoriginal after a while. However- I totally hate Jacob. :< |
I love the Twilight series!!!~ :D I truly cannot wait until the fourth book and the movie! The movie better be good and awesome like the book. (heehee) I thought the cast for the movie looked kind of weird (Edward's family) but I'm sure it will work out and I'll get used to it. UWAHHH The fourth book! CANNOT WAIT!!! I wonder if Bella really does become a vampire O_O. This series is one of the best vampire stories I ever read!

I'm currently reading Twilight. I'm on page 139. Some people say that it's pretty boring at the beginning. Anyways, I like how Stephenie Meyer writes. She writes with great detail, and makes everything suspenceful.

@xnarnian-- I think the suspense would be held up a little better if we all didn't know that Edward was a vampire. It doesn't help that it says it point-blank on the back of the book.

New Moon is a hard read once you get through the first few chapters. The middle has a lot of information in it though : )

I agree with Seiki, New Moon was a challenge for me to read. The first chapters where fine, but once Edward left I was a big flabbergasted to say the least.
But you get sort of used to not seeing Eward in there. I'll be happy if his version comes out. :3 |

I really like Robert Pattinson as Edward. At first I was a little miffed but the more pictures I see from the set the better he gets. I'm a little enamored of him now to be honest.
And I've read Eclipse as well. More than once actually. I think it is my favorite of the three. |
