I gave the book a chance this week and fell in love with it. I just finished it today.

<Look.into.your.closet 07-07-2008 02:36 AM

OMG!

I can't wait for Breaking Dawn!!! I'm so excited. I've already paid for it so that when it's released it's sent straight to me. I'm so happy!!! :insane:

Well, then it's fine that you don't like it. ^^ Just as long as your opinion is well-founded.
It's fine for people who haven't read it to say that it just doesn't appeal to them or it doesn't LOOK good. They don't have to read every book in existence. But it bugs me when people say they HATE or DISLIKE something that they have no knowledge of.
There's a difference between not being interested because it doesn't appeal to you and hating something for no good reason.

So thank you for at least giving it a chance. ^^

My friend introduced me to Twlight and I love the books!!

easy to read, and once i started reading it i couldnt stop its addictive!!!

for some reason my look of edward is short with blonde hair scary dont you think?

Xxmusic_obsessedxX 07-12-2008 08:13 PM

Haha ya it is addictive!!

Hey am I the only one that thinks they could have done better at finding an Edward for the movie? Im not saying that the guy that plays him isnt hott but Im just thinking, they could have found a better one.

Stormy1 07-13-2008 01:40 PM

They could of but with the time limit they were givin, Robert Patterson was as close as they were going to get to lovable Edward. But he defiantly has the smooth breath taking voice. *shivers at the thought*

Nesseh 07-14-2008 03:28 AM

I read Twilight AND New Moon all at the same week. It took me about 8 days to finish both books. I would stay awake until 3am reading the book. Now I can't wait to get the 3rd one. And soon after the 4th. XD

I really like it. C:
And I'm the kind of person who is more into to Science, and Mystery. XP
Lolz

Othello1 07-14-2008 12:59 PM

I think i would prefer Robert Patterson in Twilight than Harry Potter, cos the Harry Potter role didnt really suit him personnally...

but just have to wait and see!! the 4th book is coming out soon!! celebration!! XD

Kazunomiya Nanashi 07-14-2008 10:35 PM

I love the series so much that I couldn't put them down. Each book took me less than a day to read. xD;

Fabby 07-15-2008 07:18 AM

They do suck you in despite being all fluff. I'll give them that. xD

I actually hate Patterson. I saw him in the trailers and clip, and he just seems awful. Edward is supposed to be... perfect. xD

Stormy1 07-15-2008 05:05 PM

Well maybe he'll surprise you when you go see the movie's fabby. He's ok, considering there's no perfect person in the world.

Cherry Who? 07-15-2008 07:26 PM

So, how quickly does everyone think they'll finish breaking dawn?

I read all the other Twilight books in a little over 24 hours each. So it'll be hard not to read Breaking Dawn at that pace.
But on the other hand, it'll be the last NEW story. Midnight Sun will be new, but we'll already know what happens, y'know?
So I sort of want to take my time reading it. Stretch it out, y'know.
But on the OTHER hand, I don't want to read it slow and then see a spoiler online. >.<

Nesseh 07-15-2008 08:08 PM

Breaking... dawn maybe in like 2 days?... ehehe. I can't finish a book in less than 24 hours.
How do you guys do it? o.O;

So It's legit? Midnight Sun is going to get publish? =O

Cherry Who? 07-15-2008 08:41 PM

I read it every second that I can, and stay up till four reading. XD that's how I do it. XD

And yeah, I think it's pretty much confirmed. I mean, Stephenie's going to write it, either way. And with how popular these books are, do you honestly think the publishing company would say "No thanks"?
And even if they did, there'd be 100 other companies ready to snatch it up. It makes a lot of money.

Stormy1 07-15-2008 09:44 PM

Well I finished the last harry Potter book in 9 and a half hours, and Breaking Down wont be as big as that so I'll probley finish it the day I get it. My family wont see me come out of my room unless its for the bathroom or food/drinks. XD

Cherry Who? 07-15-2008 10:12 PM

9 and a half hours?
Goddamn! O_O But the HP books are monstrous! XD You must be a FAST reader.

veen 07-16-2008 01:37 AM

ahh, I'm surprised I didn't find this thread earlier OO:
but I am soo psyched for the coming out of the 4th book.
with it being summer, I'll probably have it finished within 24 hours, having nothing better to do anyways xDD

as for Patterson being Edward, the trailer/clips I've seen so far portray him kind of.. eerily. iono, I'm hoping it'll get better. I will be seeing the cast at comic-con this year though! so I'm excited for that as well :]]

Cherry Who? 07-16-2008 01:41 AM

veen - Well, keep in mind that in the first book Edward was pretty eery.

veen 07-16-2008 01:45 AM

yeah, I guess I just expected so much out of him, being perfect and all. xD
patterson did a pretty good job in harry potter though, so I have high hopes :]

Fabby 07-16-2008 03:15 AM

Fabby will probably have it done in a day. That's how all her others went, anyway. >___>;;

Maybe I'll hate Bella less when we don't have to listen to her moaning and bitching all the time. Midnight Sun FTW. -Is a secret Edward fan-

Cherry Who? 07-16-2008 03:26 AM

I can't hate Bella for her internal whining - in her place, I'd be even more whiny. XD

veen 07-16-2008 04:07 AM

haha, Bella was annoying at first, but as I kept reading, her whining became more relatable n___n

XD yeah, I guess I'm a fast reader. I'm a harry potter nerd so I couldn't put it down.

I didn't know Bella was whiny till my friend pointed it out XD but I find her whining amusing.

Fabby 07-16-2008 09:07 AM

I find it deathly irritating.
Oh Jesus my boyfriend left me LET'S GO INTO A CATATONIC STATE FOR 6 MONTHS.
What kind of crap is that?

I really don't like Bella, in case you couldn't tell. xD

Miss Ember 07-16-2008 02:49 PM

I love all of her books! She is an amazing writer and really captivates readers. It's not just goths, vampire freaks, werewolf freaks, or sci-fi maniacs. I know all kinds of cliches that LOVE her books. My sister is pretty....PINK and tans and is a blonde eyed blue angel. And she has read the books at least three times and loved it when I bought The Host.

It's great to see an author who can captivate so many different kinds of people, instead of just a few shy here and there.

And I really hope the movie is worth something. I know I"ll love it either way, but hope it doesn't turn horrid like Blood And Chocolate did. God, they butchered the storyline and meaning of that book. But so far the previews look good. I sort of trust the director.
