Q U E E N ! E - How dramatic that would have been! I don't think he should have died, but I wouldn't have been terribly upset... It would have made the book alot better.
Kita - I have sworn off Laurell K. Hamilton. D: I read Death of a Darklord by her, and I was like "WHAT IS THIS CRAP? DX" Usually, when I don't like a book, I still don't mind that I bought it, but that was just a waste of $7 that I could have used to buy something good. ...Or at least better. But, getting myself back on the topic at hand... I know whatyou mean. I was like, "Oooooh god Emmett, oooooh god Alice, oooooh god Jasper, oooooh god Carlisle, oooooh god Sam, oooooh god Esme, oooooh god Leah, oooooh god (insert name of newly introduced vampire, Garrett, Kate, the Amazons, and Siobhan in particualr) ..." and so on and so fourth. But then... all that worry for nothing. Bah! Fabby- In my opinion, it doesn't make them a bad author... Just not a great one. I can see where you are coming from, though. I beleive it takes a truly amazing author to be able to kill characters they've become attached to. If they can't do it... well, it takes away from that. (...Not that I've ever considered Stephanie Meyer a great author, but still.) |

Kita- It was a stand-alone book, not part of a series. Maybe that is why you never heard of it? It started off slow, then the story was pretty good, but the ending was just SO BAD that I couldn't even remember the parts I liked. ._.
xmushums- I do get sad when characters I like die, but at the same time... If no other drama happens, then I feel it's necessary. Like, in one book I really like, only a minor main character died, and then a few bad guys, but it was still bitter-sweet, because one of the sisters the book was about had to leave and never see her sisters again. I just felt like there needed to be more emotion to the end of Twilight than "and we were all so happy, the end." |

I read a couple chapters from the draft of Midnight Sun, and I absolutely loathed it. My whole image of Edward was destroyed. The only good thing about it is that you learn more about the other Cullen kids. |

It reminds me more of the feeling in the books than the other trailers did. It's less stupid and a bit more dramatic (but not overdramatic and cheesy like some of the things were before) I'm excited for the movie now! |
