My sister loves the books. Though when I offered to go watch the movie with her she said 'I can't I'd be like watching my boyfriend dying' I'm confused as to what she meant. So I went without her. Considereing that I never read the books I rather liked the movie. I'm not sure though if I'll ever read the books sadly.

I have yet to see the movie, and I've heard... mixed things about it. I've heard it was awful from some people, and really great from others. Considering I trust the people who said they didn't like it more, I may not go see it. I didn't like Twilight much, anyway. And I didn't like any of the casting choices, except for the guy playing Edward. I have a hard time enjoying movies if the characters aren't how I imagined them.
I was quite thrilled with the guy playing Edward, though. It's exactaly how I imagined him! The hairstyle and high cheekbones, especially! The only other time that's ever happened was with Murtagh in Eragon. That was exciting. So I may go see Twilight just for that- but I don't know yet. o_o |

I'm looking at the cover art to the manga in my magazine right now and it looks pretty cool. However, picturing the whole novel in manga form is a little difficult for me. There was just so much Bella....I don't know how you could illustrate her narration and make it interesting... But then, it never said the whole thing was a manga. It just said the mangaka illustrated the key events. (Misunderstood. -is tired-) So that might be cool... o: Iltu:: I've only heard from one person that it was really great. >_>; I'm still going to see it though. If only to laugh my ass off perhaps. xD I also have a hard time enjoying the movies if the characters aren't how I imagined them. -cough-Eragon-coughcough- Or if the scenes aren't how I imagined them to be... |
