Location: A shopping mall

"This is all your fault Aira. You HAD to go into the tinsel store didn't you?"
"You agreed to celebrate Christmas with me!"
"But not like this!"
"Look someone will come and rescue us right? Their parents have to come back for them sometime soon."
"They better! I don't want to spend my afternoon tied up with Tinsel!"
"I say I blame your curse."
"My curse?"
"Yeah because this never happened to me before."

"I know Chris. Let's tie them up some more with even more tinsel."

"Gah! I hate tinsel!"

Outside Kisei watched in amusement. Two children manage to tied up both Aira and Ambrose with tinsel. "Good thing I'm not in there," said Kisei.

Drabble 70: # 83 Shiny Objects
Characters: Byakko
Pairing: No.....
Location: A mall? Maybe? I dunno

Byakko didn't know why, but he disliked shiny objects. Perhaps it was due to living in Akuma for all his life. The city was depressing and dark, things that shined, didn't fit well into Akuma's background.

Kyatto on the other hand loved shiny objects. Byakko blamed the cat inside of her for that one.

Byakko twitched slightly. Perhaps the reason why Kyatto loved shiny objects might be the reason why they're in a store full of shiny objects. Mirrors, gems and glasses glimmered brightly. Byakko let out a sigh. He supposed Kyatto could have her fun. It wasn't like he could do much. Byakko sighed once more. He really disliked shiny objects.

Drabble 71: #92 Sibling
Characters: Aira

Location: Somewhere to muse

Aira stared up at the deep blue sky. Today had been... tiring and it brought up many age old questions and painful memories.

Today's one had been those regarding with her sister. Aira, no matter how much she struggled, could not even recall her sibling's name. For some reason she knows she had a sister, but there were all these blanks in her memories every time she tried to think about her sister. Aira growled. It annoyed her endlessly that she couldn't remember.

Perhaps that is why she seeks her sister. To finally fill in the blanks of her memories. She vaguely remembers how her parents die and for some reason there is always this certain man who keeps appearing. Though she recalls meeting him more then once, she also can't remember his name.

With her sister, lies all the answers. Her sister was alive somewhere... and with her sibling, she'll undercover everything.

Drabble 72: #12 Chapstick/lip balm
Characters: Aira and Ambrose
Pairing: Yes!
Location: Somewhere
Special Note: I think... even if I wanted this in the story, it would never happen. Yes... this one was rather a huge leap and if it ever did happen, it would be many many years after my story ended.

"Hey Ambrose you seen my chapstick?"
"No."
"Ambrose... I need it. My lips are getting all dry."
"Aira."
"What Ambrose?"
Kiss.
"You have something much better then chapstick remember?"

Aira blushed ten different shades of red that day.

Must start collecting theme list and setting up next thread. Less then 30 to go!!

I'm really fond of the last drabble. Aira and Ambrose are my main pairing... but they almost never get together in the entire series, where as Byakko/Kyatto and Ravi/Aysel are already set pairings. They have went through the whole ackward stages of confessing their love for each other. Aira and Ambrose haven't. xD So yes really something sappy like that for Aira and Ambrose was a treat. xD

I should treat myself more to that. xD

Drabble 73: #5 Water

Location: Ame Town

Deirdre floated in cool water. She hear the ship's whistle and horns blow as boats and ferries came into port in Ame Town. It was a warm and sunny day and water was just wonderful. It was weather Yi would have loved.

Deirdre frowned bitterly. Yi of course would never get the chance to come back to Ame Town. Deirdre dove into the water, feeling the transformation of a mermaid's tail take place. Deep below the surface of the water, Deirdre looked up. The ceiling of water made the sky seem so much more prettier and purer.

Deirdre resurface a few minutes later. Her mind was made up. She would avenge Yi. Even if it meant tainting the water she loves to swim in.

Drabble 74: #19 Scissors

"Nyu~ It. Won't. Open!"
"Aira you look like a idiot like that."
"The bag won't open Ambrose! It's like it's open proof. Nothing I try can open it!"

"Well I can't live forever unlike you. Now help me open this!!"

Drabble 75: #56 Butterfly
Characters: Byakko and Kyatto
Pairing: Yup I think... o.o
Location: a forest

Chasing butterflies was quite fun. Byakko pounced after one. Behind him he heard Kyatto fall to the ground with a -thud-. She probably just missed another butterfly. "Meow!" Yeah she just missed it alright.

Byakko leaped into the air, just missing the next one. He wasn't purposely trying to catch one. He would probably kill the poor creature if he managed to . But just trying to caught them was just fun. Good exercise too.

He heard Kyatto fall to the ground again. Byakko chuckled to himself. Chasing butterflies was fun.

Drabble 76: #64 Spiffy
Characters: Aira and Ambrose
Pairing: Hm...
Location: Too tired to think...

"Then you set the timer to twenty minutes, put the cover on top and then bingo! You have yourself a full cooked meal. You won't have to worry about buying and preparing food. Just toss the package into the heater and then bingo! You have yourself a full meal in twenty minutes!" said the saleman, trying to bring in a crowd.

Ambrose's eyebrow raised. 'Yeah right,' he thought to himself.

"Spiffy!"

Ambrose turned to look at Aira. A feeling over dread just overcame him. Aira had that starry look in her eyes. That look plus the word spiffy meant her curiosity was bubbling and she thought the item was cool.

"Aira. That guy is just trying to make a sale. Who knows if the food even tastes good?"

"But Ambrose. We wouldn't have to cook all the time!"

"No Aira."

"Hey people! Listen up. I got here a wonderful new invention. It's called the heat sticks. Just crack the sticks and bang you got yourself an instant heat source! Use it to keep warm at night or to brew tea in the morning. You can even change the temperatures!"

Aira bounced off to listen to the new saleman. "Spiffy!"

Ambrose groaned. This was the last time he would be taking Aira to the inventions convention.

Drabble 77: #73 Mail
Characters: Kyatto and Byakko
Pairing: Nah
Location: Kyatto's Editor Office

Ring Ring

Kyatto tilted her head in confusion. Who on earth was calling her? "Hello?" she answered.

"KYATTO! GET YOUR BUTT OVER TO MY OFFICE RIGHT NOW! YOU HAVE MAIL!"

Kyatto nearly dropped her phone in shock as her editor screamed at her over the phone. Byakko had to cover his ears from the loudness.

"Who was that?" he asked.

Kyatto shaky closed the phone, her ears still ringing. "I think that was my editor... she said I have mail."

Byakko looked at her with queer look. "So why is she yelling?"

Kyatto shrugged. "I don't know. We should head over there now."

"Finally you're here. In this room is all the fan mail you got from Button Thief," Kyatto's editor explained after scolding Kyatto for not coming in for so long.

Kyatto blinked. "Okay." She opened the door. At the same time her editor screamed, "NO! DON'T!"

A huge pile of mail fell out of the room and onto Kyatto, her editor and Byakko. Byakko popped his head up from the sea of letters. "I never been buried in mail before," he said flatly.

Drabble 78: #31 Bird
Characters: Kisei
Pairings: Nope
Location: Outside

High in the sky, a bird soar and let out its cry.

Kisei looked up. He watched as the eagle soar. "Hm," he said to himself. "Freedom of the sky, to fly wherever the heart desire. The sky is the limit. She would have loved that."

Kisei continued walking. He would reach the next town before nightfall. There was no time to stop and thinking. He clipped a friend's wings when she was child, now he intends to help her fly once more like the eagle in the sky.

Drabble 79: #69 I'm coming

Pairing: Blink and you'll miss it
Location: Near Hitsume

You know, I've been traveling with Ambrose for a long time. Feels like forever, but I know it's only been a few years tops. I remember how we met, we bumped into each other oh about three times in one day. You know the saying, "Third time's the charm." I vaguely remember someone telling me that if you meet someone three times in a row, it was destiny. I chuckled to myself.

Yeah I remember that day pretty well. For some reason, these bunch of guys decided to kidnap Ambrose and me after our third run in with each other. The whole mess started there. Ironically if it wasn't for them, I probably wouldn't have ended up traveling with Ambrose if it wasn't for them.

Ambrose of course is a very stubborn person. At first he didn't want to travel together. And honestly, yes, perhaps a small crush what was influencing me. But I knew he would be the one to help me find my sister. After a couple more run ins (and seriously I didn't plan them) plus a few more dangerous threats to both of our lives, he finally agreed. I guess that was how the threads of life weaved us together.

Heh.

"Aira! You coming?"

I looked up to hear Ambrose calling me. I replied back, "Yeah! I'm coming!" I wonder where life will take me next.

Drabble 80: #75 Nails
Characters: Ravi and Aysel
Pairings: Maybe...
Location: *blinks*

"Aysel why did we agree to this?"

Aysel blew a strand of hair out of her face. "We didn't. The store owners just dragged us into their store and told us to help."

"Yeah but we didn't say anything against it."

"Ravi could you really have said no to two elderly people?"

Ravi was silence. The normal answer would have been yes. But Aysel would be mad at him if he answered honestly. So it was probably best to keep his mouth shut and let Aysel assumed what she wanted.

"Anyways Ravi. Stop complaining and hold the shelf straight. The sooner we nail this in, the sooner we can get out of here," grumbled Aysel. She was in a bad mood having been dragged around all day.

"Pass me another nail, Ravi." Aysel said, after finishing hammering in the nail.

"Aysel. We have a problem," Ravi said slowly.

"Oh no... what is it?"

"We're out of nails."
