My doctor suggested I get an EEG to rule out if I'm having seizures. I also have to go in on Wednesday for a holter moniter--which I have to wear for 24 hours to moniter my heart.

A little of both. I apparently have been having symptoms of what might be partial seizures, but they were usually quick and far enough spread out I never thought much of them, other than being occassionally woken up or having what I call "brain shivers." Now I'm having strange feelings more often and can't walk through the house without feeling dizzy or nauseated and feeling like electricity is going through me. I never really talked to the doctor about it before because it wasn't something I thought about till it was nearly constant.

I swear, my health is just going downhill. u.u I was diagnosed with a panic disorder and depression cocktail, then my kneecaps slowly slid out of place due to the job I had worked at for little over a year, and now this. >.o At least the insurance company is investigating my claims on workers' compensation with the knee issue, but I kinda figure that they're going to side with the company I was working for (and I'll appeal the hell out of it). I just want them to pay for my medical bills relating to my knees.. which include physical therapy, medication, and--if it comes to it--surgery to repair the damage.

Ho'man Jynk, you sickly girl you. :( I hope that everything works out with your health. I had a friend in Tulsa who was epileptic, and it really affected her life. I know there was a point where she couldn't afford her meds, and she was worried because if she didn't take them, she'd have seizures. Luckily one of her salesreps paid for her meds for a month or two -- it was really sweet of her.

Anyway, I do hope you get everything worked out, and get your knee surgery paid for by your company. That sounds like a bunch of BS trying to deal with worker's comp.

In other news, I posted this in the staff forum, but thought I should also post it here, just for information's sake. It's been a rough 18 hours...

I found out yesterday afternoon that my dad has lung cancer...

I thought I'd give him some time to process things before I call him -- I was planning on calling during lunch today. It's hard to know what to say. I've never been very close to him (he and my mom got divorced when I was 4, and my sister and I only saw him in the summer from the ages of 7-13 or so...) so it's hard to know how to comfort him. Seems like I barely know him, you know?

My mom says he's going to fight it, which is good, but I can only think of the future, you know? My grandma passed away of cancer in February, so this hits especially hard.

We'll see what happens, but for now I'm just keeping him in my thoughts.


And well, I've got a bunch of work to do because I'm taking tomorrow off for my birthday. So I'll be in and out today being busy.

Okami for the Wii will be AWESOME! I still haven't finished the one on PS2 unfortunately. :( I can't get past this puzzle. I can't make the waterspout work every time I want it to for some reason. I should really get back into playing that game. it's hella fun. You'll have to buy it.

DUDE, my sister and her bf have Beautiful Katamari for the xbox 360!! I"M SO JEALOUS!!! T_T At least I'm going there for Thanksgiving so I can GAME ALL WEEKEND. LOLz. It'll be good fun. I'm super excited already.

Well, I talked to my dad, and he says it's a really small spot of cancerous cells, so they're going to do surgery and remove them. But he says he doesn't have to do chemo/radiation or anything, which is good. He seemed remarkably positive on the telephone, so that's a good sign at least. Unless he was trying to make me feel better... :? who knows!?

We'll just have to wait and see how things go I suppose. I'm hoping for the best.

Okami is a totally awesome game. Man, if you guys get to the puzzle I'm stuck on when it comes out, you'll have to tell me how to beat it. I even looked at a damn youtube video of someone doing it to show me how, but it still didn't work. I blame the effing waterspout brush!! :x

OMG, I want to play Beautiful Katamari SO badly. I want an xbox 360 for that sole purpose. I'm sure I'd buy other games eventually, but that's mainly what I'd want it for. XP

@ Eroy: I'm glad it's small too. I read about lung cancer yesterday, and it's not a good prognosis most of the time. :( I'm just hoping it won't spread later on. They say it's localized right now, but you just never know. He'd better stop fucking smoking! :x :x
