I can play the clarinet, but not very well...
|
I used to play the Baritone in band when I was in school.
Now I just play my vocal chords! |
I can play clarinet and a liiiittle piano. I'm mostly a singer, though. Classically trained, though I think I could front a band with these pipes x3
|
I can play piano, guitar, and drums, and I can also sing.
I prefer to sing though :3 |
I used to be able to play the clarinet but I quit once I got to high school. I liked playing but the band teacher was kind of evil or something... I dunno. I was never really that great anyway. Still... Sometimes I wonder what it would be like if I had stuck with it. ^^;
|
I play the drums and I used to play the flute when I was in school. I don't play in a band right now but I am a sit in / back up drummer to a few local bands. I mostly play for bands that do classic rock stuff and some softer rock. I also like to play punk, metal and jazz.
|
I play bariton horn, guitar and piano. I have been playing bariton horn at 3 years or something, piano 2 years and I Do not remember how many years i've been playng guitar.
|
I used to play the clarinet back when I was in middle school, but I dropped it for chorus, which I took from seventh grade up to my senior year in high school.
Now I play the piano and the drums. |
Stopping in once again to say...damn. My keyboard is getting used less and less lately, as I just get better and better at playing the guitar. In 2.5 weeks of practice as serious as it should be (and with a guitar actually DESIGNED for the way I play [left-handed, long story]), I've already gotten about a million times better with it than I am on piano. And yes, that IS saying something. I suck on piano, but not THAT badly. XD
As for the band question - YES, now I AM in a band! :D Or...sort of, anyway. We're still in the organizing phases. We haven't actually played a single song together yet. I'm planning it out with a friend of mine. I'm looking into buying a new guitar, acoustic-electric, and practicing a bit with body-slapping so the band is fine with just the two of us. She's a bassist...and we may need a drummer, but maybe not. Depends on whether or not she knows anyone, and how well I do with playing the guitar as two instruments at once. Luckily, the person who inspired me to make a guitarist of myself in the first place is VERY good with the technique involved here...so that gives me PLENTY of motivation to practice. :D |
I've been playing the piano for almost six years and the flute for about five.
Most of the time I have always enjoyed the piano more but I'm starting to get my passion back for the flute. It really is true; the more you practice the better you are which in turn makes you like practicing. Anyways, I love music and hopefully I can pursue it in college and as a career. |
i started playing the flute back in grade 6, stopped for two years then started again in high school..
and still playing it! except i'm one of the few in music class who isn't in band or orchestra D: i'm not into playing it all the time but i do like playing the flute ^^ i used to play the piano in elementary school and stopped when my piano teacher moved xD |
I started playing the oboe in grade 6 and still am. I also play the keyboard and I started that when I was 8 I believe. I am 13 by the way.

1. What instrument(s) can you play?
I myself play a multitude of drums. I play auxiliary in my school's marching band and drum line and I play the set for just the fun of it 2. In a band? What kind of music do you play? I'm in my school's band, haha. I play whatever I listen to or just sortof make up beats on the spot and go crazy |
I play:
Clarinet (not anymore) Electric Guitar I want to play(in no order): French Horn Trumpet Drums Keyboards Violin Electric Bass Acoustic Guitar |
I play flute and trombone. I played flute up til my sophmore year in high school and switched to the trombone, i was in the marching band. As for a real band? I dont know how to play any of the instruments nor am i a part of one.
I'd love to learn how to play violin and piano though. =] |
I've played the Piano ever since I was about 10 years old. Never in a band or anything, but I have sang in a lot of choirs (church, school, high school, college, etc).
|
I am working on learning how to play the guitar. Right now I can play the major chords.
However I can play the harmonica quite well. I've been playing it for about 8 or more years now. I mainly play by ear, because If I attempt to play a song I don't know or have never heard It doesn't sound right. I pretty much learned all that I know from my dad. He has like 16 different harmonicas all in a different key that he plays. I'm still trying to learn how to play my chromatic harmonica. I don't play in a band and probably never will. I purely play for the joy of it. |
i used to play Piano, Cello and flute but I mainly sing now
|
I can play the trombone (went to college for it), flute (just a bit of advanced stuff), bass (I can play this almost as well as the trombone but not really), piano (doesn't everyone at some point learn a bit?), bells (I learned this when I learned the flute), and finally the french horn (yeah, I learned a lot of stuff). I was a total band nerd. I lived a breathed band so I learned everything I could get my hands on. Which happened to be a lot one summer. But hey, what can I complain? I went to a music college.
|
I play flute for my band at school and my band director invited me to play piccolo for band nexy year. I'm very excited...
|
I played the French horn in band in middle school. I sucked. I didn't really try, though.
|
1. I play drums.
2. Used to be... Ancient history. |
I play flute and bass guitar.
I also count singing as an instrument, so I do vocals. |
I have an acoustic guitar and a keyboard, and I'm not good at either, but I'm a lot more interested in learning how to play the keyboard before anything.
|
I can play the Clarinet, a recorder xD and the Obie |
