I can play flute and piano.
I'm also capable of notes/small songs on guitar, clarinet, alto saxophone, recorder, ocarina, trumpet, and clarinet. When I was still in high school, I was part of the concert band. We'd play almost anything.. |
I play oboe and English horn. I'm a music performance major, so it's kinda my life. Oboe is my main instrument, though I do love playing the English horn. I'm currently in one wind ensemble and two orchestras. Principal in all. xD

I don't play anything but i wish i could play piano so i could learn the opening of Elliott Smith's "Junk Bond Trade" and i wish i could play guitar (i'd learn Everlast's "What Its Like").
And I wish i could play the Violin cos its so Voltaire/Lestat. X3 |
I've played the piano for 12 years. I absolutely love it. If I'm sad or mad I go and play the piano and it makes me happier immediately. And I started composing my own music about two years ago. I also write lyrics. But so far, I don't have any piano pieces that go with any of the lyrics that I've written. I write the lyrics first. One of these days I'll do it properly and work on a piece that I'll actually put words to. ^_^ I think it would be really cool to be in a band. To be the keyboardist and songwriter or something. I don't think I'd want it to be my career or anything, because I play for fun, but I think it would be a cool hobby.

Yes, I do play those. And no, they aren't like normal drums either. Most people don't seem to know what they are, which is strange to me. But they do sound very, very nice when played right, especially in big groups. |

I don't remember if I posted here XD... but I played violin for school for 8 years and was first chair for first violin for most of the time... I think if I actually practiced a lot more I could have played longer and tried out for the city's symphony but oh well lol ... and I played the piano for fun since I was 6? 7? ... I got much better at the piano after playing my violin for a year or two ... I only play both for fun now... it makes me want to go play but people are sleeping T_T

O don't take classes for my instruments anymore but back when I was 7, I played the chinese harp... Its called the guzheng and I went up to grade 5 but I stopped after that to concentrate more on school. Plus it was a very expensive instrument to learn since it was rare to find qualified teachers around. Along with that I also played the chinese guitar thing the pipa. It is considered the hardest of all the chinese instruments and I only went up to grade 3 in that. It was kinda torturous to learn it since I hated the teacher... And my fingers always ached after classes! ugh...
My entire family is very traditional in the music we learn... We'll I honestly never liked playing instruments... I'm kinda glad i stopped :P |

I was always told your voice is an instument so i guess i can sing firstly, i can play piano/keyboard as well and have has lessons there. also i can play guitar, but i'm not perfect and am much more comfortable with accoustic for sure and preferably on a classical accoustic, though i own an electric/accoustic ovation myself

I never really liked playing instruments. But, i had a stab at quite afew when i was younger.
Piano, Saxophone, Cello, Recorder, Xylophone, & the Triangle. (don't ask) Cello & Recorder were forced onto me, but i learnt the Xylophone for the longest by choice. I'd like to learn how to play the drums, or guitar, but i can't see it ever happening. For now, i'm sticking to vocals. |
The only instrument i learned to play was the Flute because I was in the orchestra thingy. However I wasn't that good so yeah... i stopped playing it.

1. What instrument(s) can you play?
If it counts for owt, I was in my primary school's choir (singing) for a couple of years. But I'm pretty sure anyone was allowed to join it. :XD A little later (in my last couple of years there), I started going to an after-school class to learn to play the sitar with a small group of people learning either the sitar or a set-of-drums-that-I-can't-remember-the-name-of. That was fun, and I'm sure I have bits of my notes in the piles of stuff that I keep in my room. I tried to learn the piano, as we used to have one at home, I was able to play a few songs (Badly, mind.) but I then stayed well away from it in secondary school where I was pressured to go to a class each week and learn it. (I panicked (for a few reasons, not all related) and got too freaked out to go after the first lesson. :|) I was given an electric guitar for my fifteenth birthday this year, and began going to lessons in order to learn it. Again my silly head got the better of me and I panicked and stopped going to the lessons. So, I can sort of play three things, but haven't touched them in years/years/a few months, respectively. - The sitar, piano and electric guitar. I am intending to teach myself to play the electric guitar at home, but we'll see how that goes, as I need to pull myself together and attempt to try and scrape a couple of GCSEs soon. I'm not in a band. |
I can play keyboard, at least last time I tried I could. I kind of gave up because I didn't like the practical tests. They were a bit too scary for me. I was thinking of starting again I think it'll be pretty easy for me to re-learn I used to be able to get most songs.

I can play some piano, my mother taught me. I also can play a bit on the flute, had some classes on school on the 4th grade.

Well, I play the electric guitar. I rock out with my family. I play a BC rich beast, warlock, bitch, warbeast, mockingbird. ( I collect them) And I also play a fender strat, and a Gibson SG.
I was in a band when I was younger haha. We didn't even have a name for the band yet though. haha. |
