@melody people don't pay attention to the stickies and every story needs to be checked for plaragism anyways. Far too many cases of it already.

Lit Spot = Strictest Forum on Mene

xD <3 It's the only forum I really considered to be ruled with an iron fist. Only because it's so fricking easy to abuse the gold system there. (They were considering to making the lit spot goldless at one point. x.x)

And yes there is a clean up crew. xD <3

I think a lot of users would be annoyed if the lit spot was goldless, since that seems to be where a lot of people are making large posts and getting large amounts of gold with stories and what not. It would kinda be like making the rp forum goldless, except I think it would be hard to plagiarize an rp. Though, I could be wrong. >.<

People and their gold obsession fail. >.< plagiarism fails. people should stop.

well, i don't think RPing could be plagiarized, unless they're going to another RP forum and just copy and pasting... but that kinda defeats the whole purpose of it... >.<
and that would be hard to tell if someone was really plagiarizing... >.<

well, not totally... for example, i always had the idea for my story... but i never thought of putting it in a forum... but since mene offers goldies for writing my story, then it was more of an initiative for me to start it... (originally i was going to try to draw it into a manga... but never did cuz my art isn't good or consistent enough to draw both guys and girls and a background... XD )

I guess. I just seems that abusing the gold system is all a lot of people are out to do. They join mene just to get items and make a pretty avi and avoid any part of the work they can/

yeah, i love reading manga too... probably why i wanted to try... but my guys still looks like girls... so no go yet... XD
(and miyu is bad with backgrounds... and i can't draw the same girl twice looking alike... XD )

yeah... but i mean if they create stories just for gold... they don't realize that they probably had to spend a lot of time even thinking up something pointless... that's why i think the worse is just plagiarizing... cuz that takes seconds... >.<

I can draw the same character twice, but she is the only character I have ever been able to draw, since...she was my character back in high school for a thing my friends and I came up with. ^^;; I faill at backgrounds too. I can't get people to look like they are sitting on chairs or beds or anything. so if i were to create one everyone would spend forever standing. cuz anything else just isn't an option. lol.
and couple shots are hard for me still too. They didn't used to be so bad. but I got out of practice and now...they just don't work. XD

so yeah, there's a problem... i mean eventually i'll draw 2 pictures that look alike... but she'll probably do different on the same page... then 5 pages later... "oh, it was her" XD

miyu- lol, that is awesome. if it is a colored manga, you could just make sure she is the only character that looks like her. ^^;; keep her with one certain hairstyle? I dunno... lol.

Seito- people actually spend time plagiarizing RPs? That is pathetic. I'm glad the lit spot still gives gold then. we <3 you being here XD

And people may just be drawn to a different style. You can't really compare artists works, because their creativity and styles are different.
