I think the menewsha property thing was just that they can use it at their discretion on the site. Instead of some of the older artists after leaving mene wanting them to take it down, you would no longer have that option. That is how I understood it at least. ^^;;

@mel but it's insanely stupid. T__T They're like I order fed ex and my item it's day three since I placed the order and I haven't recieved it yet! And I'm like "sir... if you read on our website it takes up to 72 hours to process your order before we can ship it out." "WHAT? BUT I NEED IT NOW!" and then they start yelling at me over the phone. >>

Oh yeah. That's pretty much what Mel said. Cause like our original NPC artist left, demanded we remove the art and now we're like scrambling to make new art. *sigh* So if you ever leave like you can't ask them to remove the art. :/ like halloween banners too. Mags made a really really really nice icon symbol of Yumeh and like when we asked to use, it was like "no. can't use them. I made them for halloween and halloween only." So another artist had to go make another symbol of Yumeh to use.

I understand the staff's concern, yah. But I think if you guys are planning on making any official art for the site, I think the site devs should do them, instead of relying on the contest? XD;

May be have the devs that are responsible for the art around mene (not necessarily pixelists since the items will be sold in stores or be a donation item or whatnot) kind of take a "vow" or have some sort of contract? Like "By being a dev of Menewsha, Menewsha owns the right to show the dev's artwork in the site. Should the dev decides to step down, either by choice (no longer wanting to be a mene dev anymore) or by force (banned for violation of ToS and mene rules, for example), said dev cannot ask for the artwork they did for the site to be taken down."

I think that would be better because the dev kind of "works" for the site (even though it's voluntary)? I can understand galy's point of view mainly because she's not a dev and i believe she only volunteered for the purpose of the halloween thing? I don't know what the details are between you guys and galy, but yeah. Because she's not a dev, I don't think the site should really have any right over her art than what she allows it to be ^^;;;

I really don't want to make a big deal out of that rule, but it does seem to be in need of better explanation ^^; I'm going to put this in the art contest thingie, so juru and the rest of the staff would see why I'm rather concerned about that rule, okay? ^^;

That's why this months CI art, was done by chibi, because our artists are currently busy. x.x (busy like family death or family arguments kind busy) And they do have that contract... now at least cause of the overall drama it caused. And the overall lack of leadership in the dev forum until recently. (Yan makes a great head dev).

Yeah, I don't know all the details myself. x.x Okies. x3 sounds like a good idea? o.o

@miyu yeah. it's a word association game. Like you put down one card that says Christmas, then from your hand you need to pick the card that best relates to christmas. It's alot more complicated with more rules and a point system, but I don't play the game cause I don't like it. >> I just like the title.
