Ew, Summer school.
What kind of classes do you have to take?

Seito 08-03-2010 09:11 AM

Physics. T_T I didn't pass the class during the semester so I'm hoping I pass this time. I think I am. I did a little under class average for the exam, just about class average for this past friday's one, and I do all the homework so I should be able to pass the class. Probably not with a B like I hoped, but passing at least.

*Hime* 08-03-2010 09:18 AM

Ew, physics. I'm glad I never have to take that again xD
Well, I'm sure you'll pass. I mean, if they see you put a fair amount of effort into it, they are bound to reward you for it, no?

xD I have one more semester of physics (not counting this summer class) before I can say that.

I dunno. Not if I'm clearly not understanding it. xD But I think I am?

The rest I've heard of but don't own. xD

They have so many pretty storylines that why

Well only time you're force to redo a chapter is when your main lead character dies (or which ever character you have to do take into battle). Other then that, any character that dies in the chapter you don't have to redo the chapter, but yeah you don't have the character anymore... so does redoing it with a better chance that all your party survive worth all the frustrations of redoing the entire chapter? xD

That one chapter is so hard because it's your main character against that one enemy. T__T And again since its your main character if you die, force to redo the whole chapter again. @[email protected]

Radiant Dawn is a whole another level of hard. Apparently (after I look at the reviews) it's the hardest Fire Emblem to date or something along those lines. xD

Personally it wasn't too bad (then again brother was playing on easy mode) and the only reason why it's hard was instead of having 1 group and every new character joining that group, you instead have Group A, Group B, Group C. So in part 1 you're A, part 2 you're B, then in part 3, you start as C and then A and C start fighting each other *baffled* Then you join together as one big army in Part 4

@[email protected] That makes leveling up very hard.

I love Final Fantasy XII. And I've done that before with games; I'll stop before I beat the final boss.

I used to have more but hard times call for selling games. My biggest regret was selling my copy Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne. That game was pure win and tough to boot.

Yeah, it's not the usual "Save the Princess" or "Save the World." That was the main draw Nocturne had for me; you weren't saving the world because it was pretty much destroyed. You just got to shape it the way you wanted to.

I would imagine. And now I want to try that game out... I like tough games. And that is on the Wii, right? Man... I need one of those...

I have no clue why I do it... and it's always with FF games. I stopped there at seven, ten, and twelve. xD I think I'm two boss battles away from the final in three when I stopped.

Aww. <3 I have a problem selling games as well. I have three I'm thinking of selling back just because I can't bring myself to play them? xD

Yup. Those are fun. Make you think too.

Yup. You sound. Radiant Dawn's storyline is kinda a meh but Path of Radiance is an awesome story. <3 PoR is for the gamecube if you have that one?

Liztress 08-04-2010 04:40 AM

I do it normally because I don't want the story to end.

I hate parting with games, even if it doesn't look like I'll play them within six months.

I like thinking. It keeps your brain in shape. *nods*

I have a GameCube but it doesn't power on anymore. I need to get it repaired. I'll be on the look out for that game though.

Oh, and if you don't have Chaos Wars, I was told that you can join Game Podunk and get a free copy. They got a few copies they are giving to people who don't own the game.

Yeah. Story ending is a bittersweet thing.

xD I had mines for about two years now, and never finished them or started them.

Which is a great thing for latter down the road when we're all old. xD

Good luck repairing them. <3 Happy playing. xD Oh if you do get it, don't play it on easy mode if you plan to pick up Radiant Dawn eventually. I read somewhere that transfering the data will crash your game.

Oooo I'll look it up.

Liztress 08-04-2010 05:27 AM

I know. I've shed a few tears at the ending of Persona 3 and during a certain part of Persona 4.

Ah, well... Where do you normally sell your games at?

*nods* I want to be a smart old person. xD

*makes note not to play on easy mode* Alright.I figure if I can't fix it, GameCubes are fairly cheap to buy.

Seito 08-04-2010 05:30 AM

*gasp* xD I really need to finish that.

Ah, I don't have a place... I never saw any reason to sell back a game. *packrat*

That's what my mom is trying to achieve. xD She loves games like Scribblenauts and Professor Layton.

Yes. =D Happy Shopping!

Liztress 08-04-2010 05:36 AM

How far did you get on Persona 3 again?

Well, don't ever sell back to GameStop. They are cheap. -.- I've sold there because we needed the money one time. I sold Nocturne for like $4 or $5 and went back a week later to buy it back (because I missed it) and they were selling that copy for $40. I figured they would have sold it for like $25 tops.

I want to play the Professor Layton games but I tend to choose RPGs over it. And Scribblenauts is fun. My boys like the game and it helps them with their spelling.

The shopping will have to wait for a bit. xD

Seito 08-04-2010 06:24 AM

Hmm Not that far... I think I just cleared the very first 10(?) level of tartus. I can't remember if I did more then one boss battle. Mostly the lack of motivation comes from the fact that my cousin played the entire thing in front of me and aside from ending, I know most of the storyline. @[email protected]

Really now? Hmm I might just tackle a place like ebay then. There's another anime store I could sell it at... but since I use to work there, I know that well it might not be my first choice actually.

Professor Layton is fun for thinking puzzle games. xD The storyline is pretty interesting too. A tad predictable after awhile (they leave enough hints to figure it out pretty early) but cute.

I haven't really tried my hand at Scribblenauts yet... mother won't let it go. xD

Ah well, just another thing to look forward too? xD

Ah yeah. My aunty does the same for her dog. Lucky pets. <3 They live like kings and queens. xD

lol Our dog usually gets stuck out in the heat. xP;; Not when we're home, of course, but she's outside if we're gone. But when we're home, she's inside like all the time. She hates being outside in the heat for very long. haha

lol Am I the only person that loves Physics?

xD I imagine so. xD Heat is never fun.

Yes yes you are. xD

*is done with homework for the night, finally* *dances*

Suona 08-04-2010 07:02 AM

No, it certainly isn't. Unless you're swimming. In which case its preferred.

Haha. I suppose so. Really do enjoy it, though.

Seito 08-04-2010 07:03 AM

Yeah. Swimming when it's hot is best. Just the effort of getting the beach is the time consuming part. xD

I like I guess the theory of it... but I can't apply it very well? xD

Suona 08-04-2010 07:07 AM

Well, we have lakes and ponds and ditches around here to swim in, so its not too bad. :] Ocean is a good drive away, and most of the coast here is cold.

Not sure. Haha.

Seito 08-04-2010 07:26 AM

The pools here to do not compare to the beach. xD The beach is the best. <3 No lakes or ponds here. Not for swimming at least.

Captain Howdy 08-04-2010 07:30 AM

My dearest Seito,

I am writing this letter just to let you know that I will be flooding your thread and dropping live piranha into it.

Love,
Howdy <3

Suona 08-04-2010 07:30 AM

Yeah, I bet.
And thats a bummer. D:

I rarely go to pools, really. I dont like the smell of chlorine much, and it takes forever to wash out of your hair. D: Whenever my hair falls in my face, it'll smell like chlorine. Hate that.

Really? It only takes one washing for me to get rid of chlorine? o.o

Ah, ok. And yeah, that happens to me a lot. If my boyfriend winds up playing the same game and he beats it before I do, then I lose interest and finishing my game.

eBay isn't a bad place to sell stuff. I would look into Amazon as well because they don't charge a fee to list the item. But then you have to wait for someone to buy it.

*nods* Yes, it is. I like having things to look forward to. Oh, and I got the email Monday that my stylus and hard case were being shipped. So I can look forward to getting that next week. xD

Yeah. xD Playing for the storyline is the best part. The game system is fun, but I really play for the entire storyline. xD Ruining it is the worse way for me to go.

True. But that's always better then just waiting for people to buy it and keep listing it.

Huzzah! Let the countdown begin!

Liztress 08-04-2010 06:48 PM

Exactly. That's why I don't care how bad voice acting can be and such. Not that Atlus ever really has bad voice actors. I will say that Junpei's voice actor was the main reason I like the character. But I never cared for Yukari much. Give me Mitsuru any day.

Especially when eBay charges a listing fee regardless if you sell it or not. And sadly (yet ironic), we just got back from selling a couple games because we needed some money. :(

I almost thought it was here today when I checked the mail and saw a package in there. But my hopes were crushed to see that the package isn't mine.

Junpei's voice actor is fun. xD I like him. Yukari yeah not so much. I can't recall my opinion about Mitsuru's voice actor off the top of my head.

Aww. You'll get them back one day.

Buuu. Here's for hoping tomorrow!
