xD well the good thing is that I'm done with the hard stuff. xD so I figured out and modify my plan a little I will earn gold. 100g will go to my mule every day then I will buy an item from the exchange if I find any that I need then the gold on my mule will add up and then when it reachs a the right amount I'll buy the items I'm questing for my current dream avi from the store. *nods* |

i tend to splurge if i see anything i like... tho i'm trying to save up for specific items that i bolded... so if i see a deal in the exchange for an item i can afford... i buy... wait... that's splurging... yeah... i'm hopeless... (i just bought 4 mangas IRL, and they were all limited... *sees money fly away* XD ) |
I'm like that too. xD In the past two days I've bought seven items in the exchange, that have nothing to do with my current dream avi. xD
That's why I figured if I put 100g away then I'll eventually get to the items I need for this dream avi. For example, I never see the purple pins pants in the exchange so I'm gonna have to pay store price anyways. So it's like... 1k-1.5k so in 10-15 days I'll be able to buy it. xD But in the mean time I can splurge the gold I earn in the exchange. (hehe I was gonna buy 10 manga because there was a sale of 40% off ten or more) |
@seito: well, i haven't found many things that i like that i can afford so i bought less things as of late... (cuz my mad posting doesn't work if no one's on... so it has slowed down... XD )
but yeah... i got the staff of heaven recently, so that took away most of my goldies... XD as for manga... i was soooo tempted to buy more... but then i would've spent $100+ if i bought everything that i wanted... XD (cuz nothing was on sale... i put enough into the cart to get free shipping... XD) |

i am the target audience for translations and mp3s... if i read or hear something i really like, i go out and buy it... i probably have around 200-300 original japanese CDs... maybe more... not sure tho... ^^; and a very full shelf of manga and japanese magazines... XD |

that's basically what my shelves are for... i don't real books per say so i don't really have regular novels or anything... it's all japanese stuff... when i was really small, i only have access to chinese stuff... but i already boxed all of those... now everything on my shelves are japanese... XD
i probably shouldn't have boxed the chinese stuff cuz i need practice in that language... but i'm not really interested in those mangas very much anymore... and i don't really read the japanese ones either... usually i read the translations... then if it's not translated all the way to the last volume... then i look into my manga to find out what happens... (i know enough japanese to understand with the help of the pictures... XD ) |

yeah... i usually read them online... but you know how for every 10 manga you read, there's that ONE that you REALLY like... that's the one i buy... XD
but the worst thing about me is i'm a bit compulsive... so if that manga somehow has a limited edition... i definitely have to have the limited edition... unless it's so sold out that i can't even find it on ebay... XD (or if ebay have ridiculous prices... then i'll give up too... ^^; ) |

ah limited edition. I don't really care too much. xD so it doesn't matter when I buy it. I even settled for used book stores cause it's cheaper and the manga is still it brand new condition. x3 |
i only go for used stuff if i can't find it brand new anymore... >.<
same with CDs... i will only buy the asian semi-pirate or the "domestic" versions only if the japanese version is discontinued... i think that's the little compulsive obsessive side of me... XD i like how you get stuff from limited editions that you will probably never use in your life... XD |

i mean i'm not very good... but i'm decent... i saved 1/4 of my salary the past year... tho i'm not too sure i can do it again this coming year... XD so i'm one of those people who will never be filthy rich (or even considered rich) but i should be fine if something bad happens and i need a small decent sum... ^^; i'm the cautious type i guess... but not really the save save save type... ^^; |

Aside from donating to mene once a month (and like only 10-20 dollars) there is usually only one time during the entire year that I really let myself go and spend (that is at the only anime convention that I go) other then that, I don't buy anything for myself really. I ask my parents and if they say no, then I never get it for myself. |
